The pre-development flows for this duration will become the post-development flow limits in the channel immidiately downstream of the pond. The pond outflow limits for 5, 50
and 100 years ARI are 2965.76 m3/s, 8953.11 m3/s and 11450.11 m3/s respectively.

From Figure 1, the estimated dam volume required is 18,290,329 m
3
.

Since, the existing Bekok Dam was designed for capacity 32,000,000m
3
(J abatan Pengaliran dan Saliran Malaysia, 14 Disember 2012) and based on revised calculation
according to MSMA 2nd Edition 2012/DID Malaysia, its proved that the existing capacity still can capture for the current stormwater/rain intensity.
