Controlling TV
The Amino A125 will ty$ically allow you to choose what you want to #iew by keying in the channel
number' ste$$ing through the channels' or by selecting $rograms from an on5screen electronic
$rogram guide!
To insert a viewing card
-o not insert or remo#e a #iewing card until $rom$ted by the on5screen dis$lay' or you may damage
the card!
6 *nsert the card fully into the slot on the front $anel on the Amino A125 with the gold coloured $ads
facing down and away from you!

dro$$ed' shaken or e&$osed to any $hysical shock!
The Amino A125 is designed to be $laced hori(ontally or
#ertically on a hard flat surface!
-o not $lace the Amino A125 where it may be subject to
$hysical shock or #ibration or where the $roduct may
dro$' to$$le' slide or shake as this may cause $ersonal
injury or irre$arable damage to the $roduct' which will not
be co#ered by the manufacturerNs warranty!
-o not o$erate the Amino A125 on a soft surface such as
car$et' rug' bed etc as these surfaces will obstruct airflow'
may cause the $roduct to o#erheat and will in#alidate the
warranty!
-o not install the Amino A125 into any built5in installation
such as bookcase or rack without ensuring that a
minimum of 1AAmm :1M< of clear s$ace is a#ailable at the
front' rear' sides and to$ of the $roduct!N
-o not install the Amino A125 where it may be e&$osed to
direct sunlight or radiant' con#ected or conducted heat
from an o$en fire or radiator!
The Amino A125 should not be $laced on any surface that

A9 am$lifier< and nothing should be $laced on to$ of the
Amino A125!

must not be $laced on to$ of the $roduct!

The Amino A125 is not suitable for outdoor use!
The leads and $ower5su$$ly cord must be routed where
they cannot be walked on' chafed' tri$$ed o#er or $inched
by items being $laced on or against them! Power5su$$ly
cords must not be routed underneath car$ets or rugs
where any damage could not be seen!
Poer Sources
The Amino A125 must ?8I% be used with the $ower
su$$ly su$$lied by the manufacturer! The mains lead is
fitted with a $lug that is designed for use with the $ower
source of the country of installation

The Amino A125 and $ower su$$ly will get warm to the
touch when in use! *f the Amino A125' $ower su$$ly or
attachments become hot to the touch' immediately un$lug
the Amino A125 from the mains electricity su$$ly and call
your ser#ice $ro#ider to arrange re$lacement!
"ightning Protection and Not in #se
*f lightning is e&$ected' or the $roduct is not going to be
used for a long $eriod of time' $lease un$lug the mains
lead from the wall outlet' un$lug the digital T network
connection from the rear of the $roduct and un$lug the

"hen used with certain dis$lay ty$es' such as $lasma
dis$lays' it is im$ortant that the $icture is not $aused for a
long time :greater than 5 minutes< as the image dis$layed
may then be OburnedN $ermanently into the screen of the
dis$lay de#ice! This effect is not a defect of the
Amino A125 but a limitation of the dis$lay de#ice! Amino
.ommunications Itd! will not be held liable for damage so
caused!

This $roduct is designed to e#ol#e and as a consequence'
it benefits from software u$dates $ro#ided and installed
automatically by your ser#ice $ro#ider! Amino
.ommunications Itd! and your Ser#ice Pro#ider reser#e
the right to automatically u$date the software on the
$roduct in order to im$ro#e the $roduct functionality!
-uring software u$dates' the Amino A125 cannot be used
and must not be switched off until the software u$date is
com$lete!
The first time it is $owered' it is $ossible that the
Amino A125 will immediately start u$dating itself with the
latest o$erating software! "hile the software is u$dating it
is im$ortant that the Amino A125 is not switched off! The
software u$date will be com$lete after a few minutes and
you will then be ready to enjoy the full benefits of your
new digital T ser#ice!

Subject to the terms of this agreement' Amino

grants %ou a non5e&clusi#e' non5transferable license'
without the right to sub5license' to use the software
included with the Product or subsequently $ro#ided to
you' and its associated documentation solely for your non5
commercial use and solely in connection with your use of

your ser#ice $ro#ider may $eriodically u$date' modify or

not attem$t to modify' enhance' disassemble' decom$ile'

The Amino A125 is intended for the rece$tion and

$ersonal use in conformance with a$$licable laws' license
agreements or ser#ice agreements under which you ha#e
obtained access to such >aterials! Any other use is
e&$ressly $rohibited! *t is %our res$onsibility to com$ly
with' and you agree to be bound by' all such a$$licable
laws and agreements! ,nauthori(ed recording of
co$yrighted material' or $ro#iding co$ies of such material
to others' may infringe the rights of co$yright owners and
may also be a criminal offence in some jurisdictions! Prior
$ermission from the co$yright owners may be required for
certain $ublic $erformances and certain commercial uses!
%ou agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amino and its

Amino makes no re$resentations and disclaims any and
all warranties' e&$ress or im$lied with res$ect to the
software' including' without limitation' any im$lied
warranty of merchantability' fitness for $ur$ose' non5
infringement of third $arty rights and those arising from a
course of dealing or usage of trade! 8o re$resentation is
made or warranty is gi#en that use of the software will be
defect free or error free or uninterru$ted' that any defects
or errors will be corrected or that the functionality of the
software will meet your requirements!

Amino' its su$$liers and licensors will not be liable for loss

Termination
This agreement and the licenses granted hereunder shall
immediately terminate if you fail to com$ly with the license
limitations described in this agreement! 8o notice will be
required from Amino to effect such termination! ?n
termination of this agreement you must return all
hardware' software and $roduct documentation and
accessories to the ser#ice $ro#ider' or the su$$lier from
which you obtained the Product!

underlying information or technology may be downloaded
or otherwise e&$orted or re5e&$orted) a< into :or to a

be modified e&ce$t in writing by a duly authori(ed
re$resentati#e of Amino! All headings are for con#enience
and shall ha#e no effect on inter$retation of this
Agreement!
