INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS/ ARAHAN KEPADA PELAJ AR

1. This assignment contains only ONE (1) question that is set in the language of the printed module for the
course./ Tugasan ini mengandungi SATU (1) soalan sahaja yang disediakan dalam bahasa modul
bercetak kursus ini.

2. Answer in English or Malay./ Jawab dalam Bahasa I nggeris atau Bahasa Melayu.

3. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from the MyVLE for preparation
and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point Times New Roman
font and 1.5 line spacing./ Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa yang berkenaan daripada
MyVLE untuk penyediaan dan penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan anda hendaklah ditaip dengan
menggunakan saiz fon 12 Times New Roman dan langkau baris 1.5.

4. Your assignment should be between 2500 to 3000 words excluding references. The number of words
should be shown at the end of your assignment. Do not copy the assignment question and instructions to
your answer./ Tugasan anda hendaklah antara 2500 hingga 3000 patah perkataan tidak termasuk
rujukan. Bilangan perkataan hendaklah ditunjukkan di hujung tugasan anda. J angan menyalin soalan

EVALUATION/ PENI LAI AN

This assignment accounts for 40% of the marks for the course mentioned and shall be assessed
based on the Rubrics./ Tugasan ini akan menyumbangkan 40% markah kepada kursus tersebut
dan akan dinilai berdasarkan kepada Rubrik.

You would be informed of the assignment mark before the Final Semester Examination
commences./ Anda akan dimaklumkan tentang markah tugasan ini sebelum Peperiksaan Akhir
Semester bermula.

ASSI GNMENT QUESTI ON/ SOALAN TUGASAN


Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources can be used to create, disseminate,
store and communicate information for managing the teaching and learning of mathematics. A
teacher should be innovative and creative in planning effective teaching and learning activities
using ICT in the classroom. He needs to explore the advantages and disadvantages of using ICT
in teaching and learning.

Search the internet for TWO journal articles on the use of ICT to teach secondary mathematics.
Analyse and provide critical comments on the effective use of ICT in each case.

Select one topic of your choice and suggest an innovative and creative teaching activity on how
you can use ICT resources to teach the topic. Provide justifications for your suggestions.

Refer to the guidelines provided in the rubrics given below on the expected assignment content
and also the basis for which marks are to be awarded for the report.
