COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will provide a broad overview of Management and Organizational behavior (OB). The
goals of this paper are threefold: to understand the various content areas (e.g., managerial
functions, ndividual behavior li!e attitudes, personalit", leadership, #roup and team d"namics.
This also considers the production and operations from a managerial perspective. $rovides a
general understanding to the nature, concepts, principles and practices in human resource
management. t also focus on formulating financial decisions in business enterprises with the
ob%ect of developing in the student a s!ill for carr"ing out the functions of planning, raising,
investing and controlling financial resources.
COURSE OBJECTIVES

The aims of this syllabus are to enable candidates to develop:
1. knowledge and understanding of the core activities of administration in the business world
2. an ability to apply this knowledge to various roles in organizations
3. competence to illustrate their understanding through the use of real or created examples
