Steak Indian-Style, Spinach & Paneer With Salad, Minty Yogurt
& Curry Sauce on the

Ingredient List Utensil List - a few sprigs fresh mint - Fry Pan - lemon - Tongs - 100 g prewashed baby spinach - Wooden spoon - black pepper - Chefs Knife - sea salt - Saucepan - extra virgin olive oil - Measuring Jug - olive oil - Spoon - 100 ml light coconut milk - Chopping Board 1 / 2 of 283 g jar Patak's jalfrezi paste - lemon
- 2x300 g quality rump steaks
- lemon - 125g fat-free natural yoghurt
- 75 g Tasty cheese
- packet alfalfa sprouts
- 1 punnet cress
- large carrot
Method: Step Instruction 1. Gather all ingredients on the table 2. Then cut the fat of the steak on chopping board 3. After place the steak into a frying pan with jalferzi paste, lemon and salt and pepper and set aside 4. Then in a sauce pan pour jalfrezi paste and coconut milk 5. Then place the curry sauce and meat onto the stove on a medium heat for both. Turn the meat every minute and stir curry sauce every minute 6. Then pour the spinach in a bowl with some cress, alfalfa sprouts and peel some carrots in a ribbon shape 7. Then check up on the steak and flip over 8. The stir the curry sauce 9. Then chop up some cheese and place into a fry pan inorder for it to golden 10. Then pour the yogurt into a bowl with finely sliced mint, lemon and salt and stir before serving. 11. Then check on the cheese if they are golden place into the salad 12. After you have turned over the meat a couple of times palce onto chopping board 13. Then slice and place in resting juices 14. Then take curry of stove when thickened and palce in bowl 15. Serve the salad, curry sauce , minty yogurt and the cut up steak served onto a plate 16. If you would like to garnish the dish squeeze and bit of lemon onto the salad and a bit of parsley onto the steak

Pros About This Dish Cons About My Dish Improvements About This Dish - The minty yogurt had finely diced mint and werent chunky - The curry sauce was not thick enough and I took if off to early - In my dish it was good but there was a bit of things that I could have done to make the recipe even better one of these are that I could not add parsley on the meat as some people dont like parsley and as it is a garnishing some people can add it if they like it - The meat was well done and the flavours had a beautiful texture - The meat should not be cooked to early as the meat takes about 10 minutes for it to cook on each side
- Another improvement is that fat off the steak doesnt need to be taken off as it can be turned into fat and also the rump steak doesnt actually have that much fat on it. - The ingredients in the salad were cut and sliced how I wanted, - The cheese in the salad should not be golden or melted as the cheese may not -
and the cheese was golden and the lemon in the salad was perfect be golden or melted when you come to eat it so its better if the cheese is not melted
