The Lords Day May 25, 2014 The Lords Day May 25, 2014
ANNOUNCEMENTS

Bike Hike With Pastor Ken - We are planning a family fun bike
ride, various lengths of ride are available. On June 28, we will
meet at the Clean Water Plant, just off Baldwin Street in J enison at
10 a.m. The Kent Trail starts there, it is a very nice ride through
the woods alongside the Grand River, there are places to stop and
explore the river, or just enjoy the ride. At the one mile mark we
will have a break station, younger riders will likely take a break
and head back (we will also have a sag vehicle to take riders back
to the start if the return ride is too much). Riders who want a
longer ride will continue along the river on Indian Mound Road, a
one way, bike only route, no traffic to worry about on any of the
ride. Riders may go as far as they like, three miles further along
the ride there will be another break station. We are suggesting
riders turnaround at this point (or sooner if they like). If you ride
the whole route you will get in 8 miles, but you can make the route
however long or short you like. The whole ride is shaded, scenic,
quiet and safe! Sign up at the table today. If you have any
questions please contact Ken Smith.

Kickball Tournament - A friendly game of kickball in
Connecticut ended after 345 innings with a score of 164-117 and a
Guinness world record! It is NOT our goal to beat that record. It
is our goal, however, to have fun with our church family in a
rousing game of kickball. If the weather agrees, well play
outside. If not, well be in the gymeither way, itll be great fun
with variations thrown into the mix. Wed love everyone to come
either to watch or play! Enjoy kickball, peanuts, Cracker Jacks,
and Hotdogs behind Hudsonville Chr. School (Church) on
Saturday, June 14, beginning at 4p.m. Sign up at the table today!
