• Category: News & Politics
• In general, this text has talked about the globalisation of higher education
in Europe. They talk about the opportunities to study in Europe.
• Along this, the European Commissioner of Education training Culture and
Youth, exchanges the views on aspects on the implementation
(achievement) of the bologna process. It also discusses about the
implementation of the bologna process and how it is dealt with the
question, whether it would lead to educational governance in the Europe.
He also headlines the commission’s priority in the field of this process.
• This piece also examines how efficient the student mobility is.
• The organisation declares that the bologna process has been successful
because of the increasing numbers of external students, especially from
Asian countries. They also clarify about the contribution to the new
development.
• An expert says deconstructs that, the bologna process was great in its
conception and has captured by national implementation.

• The target Audience for this text is aimed at International Students, aged
18 and more, for males and females.
• The key interest for the audience is how we as individuals understand the
world in which we live, which is called the Ideology, where this creates a
representation of the bologna process.
• This media text denotes the importance of higher education, where the
federation shows the support towards the idea and therefore persuades
the audience to come and study in Europe.
• The Ethnicity and the socio economic group is quite open, where anyone
could do this. It doesn’t restrict anyone from doing this, as it has the
greatest support from the association. As a matter of fact, earlier I
declared that the target audience is for people who are 18+, per contra
this piece of programme has got a niche audience, it’s accessible to
anyone. However, it does cover up my actual target audience which is
18 – 24 years old. It has given the chance of
Use of Camera:
• Mid shot used when experts started talking.
• Opening sequence- soon fade into the presenter
• When Interviews finished, it used fade out shot from the interviewee.
• All shots were cut. (cutaways)
• Shot are simple mid shots and two shots.
• Panning when they film the class rooms from right to left.

Use of Sound:
• Opening sequence- Intro music with the title.
• Then music fading out to a discussion, which gives seriousness to the show.
• Use of sound adds to the feel, which is related to the topic.
• Cutaways of voice-over

Use of Editing:
• Pace- average flow, to keep it interesting and exciting.
• No use of graphics.
• Non-digetic music in between the sequences.
• Opening sequence gradually zooms into the presenter-reporter’s waist. This
is a mid shot.
• Pre-recorded packages in lecture rooms.
• Talking space in one shot.
• Cutaways and Voice-overs.

Content and Conventions:


• Sing on and off, introduction and conclusion by the presenter.
• Female presenter- casual clothing.
• Formal style of representation.
• Vox pop- 3-4 Interviews with Experts/ Professionals, advice and personal
opinions given.
• European flag seen at the opening sequence (intro).
• Direct mode of address, they all talk directly, by using the personal pronoun
‘You’.
• Evidences what’s being said by the experts.
• Serious tone, in order to add the emphasis to their point.
• Facts given verbally , however not visualised.
