Engineer in M/s Andrew Construction, Kudankulam for Project site of 21000MWe being
constructed by M/s Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited ( A Public sector Undertaking of Govt . of India)
for M/s Nuclear Power Corporation Limited ( A Govt of India) at kudankulam Nuclear Power Project.
This power project equipments are engineered manufacture and supplied by Russia. This
engineering, manufacturing, erection and commissioning is as per Russian Standard like PNAE-G,
Snip and RD 34.15 which is meant for Nuclear Power Plant Equipment. Our organisation is providing
services of quality engineers for inspecting activities in the erection works of Secondary cycle piping
which includes welding process control, welder qualification test, final weld visual inspection , hydro
test, pneumatic test, radiographic testing and ultrasonic testing of pipe welds carrying feed water,
steam, lubricating oil line for steam turbine and generator, gas piping, chemical piping, chemical
lines and sapling lines.


Mr SANDEEP P M, has worked as Engineer-Quality Control and Quality assurance activity which
include co-ordination for welder Qualification test, welding process control, preparation of weld
surface for visual inspection ,Radiography testing, Ultrasonic testing, Liquid penetrant test and offer
for RT and UT. He is involved in testing of lines and equipment (Hydro test & pneumatic test)with
customer engineer and obtains customer approval. He has little good knowledge in interpretation of
RT film. He is also involved in verification of as built drawing. He has thorough knowledge in
preparation of Circuit Release Report(CRRs) compiling the list of pipe line, as built drawings, weld
joints, erection reports for each piping circuit to obtain clearance for hydraulic test .He has
contribute a lot in the preparation of Construction Clearance Certificate (CCC) which include
consolidation of all the quality documents right from material receipts , erection and inspection
activities till handling over to operation and maintenance group. He has understood various
inspection requirements of Russian standards and effectively implements the requirements. He has
controlled a group of workmen and technicians for executing above works


He has shown keen interest in completing the assignments and achieving the companys
goal. He is self-motivated engineer who plans, executes and monitors his work himself. He has been
a strong support for our organisation in the field of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in this site.
He has acquired a wide experience in learning and execution of construction projects. He is well
aware of the construction activities and updates with inspection activities related to erection,
welding and inspection field. He works beyond working hours voluntarily to achieve the
organisations target in time
