GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS REGARDING FINAL RESEARCH PROJECT (CP-402):
For FRP, the supervisor will assign a research topic to the student. It is required that the student should attend FRP class with the concerned supervisor for the completion of research project. Each student will prepare synopsis, which should contain INTRODUCTION, LITERATURE REVIEW, PROBLEM STATEMENT, RESEARCH OBJECTIVES, RESEARCH METHODOLOGY, EXPECTED OUTCOMES and REFERENCES, in brief. The RESEARCH PROJECT REPORT must be hard bounded with Leatherette cover duly embossed in Golden BOLD letters with Laminated Wrapper Sheet. (Spiral binding and other forms of binding will not be accepted). The RESEARCH PROJECT REPORT must be prepared in Four Copies. Two for the University, one for the Supervisor and one for the Student. Student will also mail the soft copy in PDF to the concerned supervisor. Institute name (MM Institute of Management, MMU) should be at the bottom (in the right side) of the report starting from the page Table of Contents. The report should ordinarily be based on primary data. It should reflect in depth study of the problem.

CHAPTER 4 - DATA ANALYSIS & INTERPRETATION 13. CHAPTER 5 - CONCLUSIONS & SUGGESTIONS 14. CHAPTER 6 - LIMITATIONS & FUTURE SCOPE OF THE STUDY 15. BIBLIOGRAPHY/REFERENCES 16. ANNEXURE(S)
Following points should be considered for the above format of FRP:
1. TITLE PAGE (Refer the specimen, page number should not be assigned) 2. DECLARATION BY STUDENT (Refer the specimen, page number should be assigned as first page in roman only in the center) 3. CERTIFICATE BY SUPERVISOR (Refer the specimen, page number should be assigned as second page in roman only in the center) 4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT (The candidate may thank all those who helped in the preparation of the PROJECT, page number should be assigned as third page in roman only in the center) 5. TABLE OF CONTENTS (Page number should be assigned as fourth page in roman in the center) 6. LIST OF TABLES (Page number should be assigned as fifth page in roman only at the center) 7. LIST OF CHARTS/FIGURES (Page number should be assigned as sixth page in roman only.) 8. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (Brief summary of the project, page number should be assigned as seventh page in roman only in the center. After this page, rest of pages should be numbered in decimal form in the center)) 9. CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION: a) Description of the research topic and related factors b) Rationale/need of the study 10. CHAPTER 2 - LITERATURE REVIEW (Related literature survey, at least 10) 11. CHAPTER 3 - RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: a) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES (Clearly defined) b) POPULATION (Type, size) c) SAMPLE DESIGN (Sampling units, sampling technique, sample size should be min. 50) d) COLLECTION OF DATA (Primary and/or secondary, data collection method/tool, in case of questionnaire it should have 10 to 15 questions and open ended questions should be avoided) e) DATA ANALYSIS TOOL(s) 12. CHAPTER 4 - DATA ANALYSIS & INTERPRETATION (Results of the study) 13. CHAPTER 5 - CONCLUSIONS & SUGGESTIONS (Based on results of the study) 14. Key-points for preparation of FRP report:
1. Project report size: The total number of pages may be between 70 and 100 pages (Paper size: A4) 2. Normal text font size: 12 pt. Font type: Times New Roman 3. Heading/Sub Heading: Left justified & bold. Main heads, Sub heads, Sub heads of sub heads do have font size of 18, 16 & 14 respectively. No underline, No bullet & No colon (:) 4. Line Spacing: 1.5, Margins: Left: 1.5, Right: 1, Top: 1, Bottom: 1. Alignment: Justify Specimen
