Throughout the years the teen unemployment rate has been increasing (Michael W.
Chapman, 2014). We believe that the reason behind the increasing teen unemployment rate
is because most teens nowadays lack the communication skills and experience to join the
workforce. So an app solution provide them more opportunity and an easy access for

( FI GGE SUTER, 2012)
Theres low barries for entry for the job seeking
mobile app industry as theres only a low set up
costs to produce an mobile app to seek jobs.
Threat of substitutes: High
Many apps provide similar features and content
that can be found on web sites. (Nico d'Heureuse,
2012) E.g. Seek, Trade Me
Its high because the switching costs for
consumers are low or non-existent; usually there
is a number of similar Job seeking website
available for the same price or for free. And
theres a lot alternative of the job seeking
services.
Rivalry among
existing competitors:
High
In the mobile app industry, developers are
numerous and are roughly equal at least in size,
which according to Porter intensifies rivalry. (
FIGGE SUTER,2012)
The Rivalry among existing competitors in the job
