Objective:

By the end of the class the student will have understood the
rhyme in Work-Sheet #1 and will be able to properly pronounce
the words included in the poem.

Initial Stage:

The Students will be provided with the Work-Sheet in question
and informed as to the format.

Development Stage:

Stage One

The students will listen as the teacher animatedly acts and reads
out I asked the Little Boy from Work-Sheet #1.

Stage Two

The students will be explained the difficult words in the
worksheet, e.g. pleasant, rustle, trumpet etc. and be provided
with a word meaning sheet for the words.

Stage Three

The students will then be prompted to recite the rhyme in a
chorus, and then be made to complete the exercise questions
from Understanding the Poem (1-5) both orally and in a written
form in their copies.

Cumulative:

The teacher will conclude the class through the collection of all
the provided worksheets.
