obtaining their opinions were Open Ended, Close Ended, Yes/No question and Ranking
question. We distributed the questionnaire to the students by ourselves and collected by
ourselves. The qualitative data for the research come from readings of newspaper and
internet sources of various clustered website.

4.3 Supporting Instrument
To analyze the data, a total of certain variables and software is used; data were analyze
by using Microsoft Excel. Results were presented through frequency counts and other
descriptive statistics.

5. Findings

We did questionnaire to find out the result of students in using public transportation.
What are their opinions and is it the public transport is the safest transport. We asked
the male and female student at age 18 until 25. This questionnaire help use to obtained

public transportation more than male students. As shown in the pie chart, the
percentage of female student is 60% than male that is 40%. The percentage is totally
difference about 20%.

both course percentage is the 35%. That means we have more results of the course

transports still become the main transport to the students. 35% of students are seldom
using the public transport and 15% of students never use public transports may
because they have their own transport.
It is clear that the increment in public transport usage statistics is highly depends on
users readiness to make public transportations as premier mode of transportation.
Even though a country's public transportation system is great, however if people are not
ready to 'support' the public transport, the situation will remain unchanged (Dzuhailmi
Dahalanet al, 2013).
From this statement, we can say that the user determine whether or not to use public
transportation. From our questionnaire, we can say that 35 per cent were regular user of
public transportation, which mean they accepted the support the public transportation.

transport is the main transport for them. Some of the student does not satisfy because
public transportation does not serve a better service and the price is high.
It is the responsibility of most organizations in the public sector to allocate, monitor and
evaluate their annual expenditure and service delivery (Nooreha Husain, Mokhtar

6. Conclusion
As Conclusion, from our survey, students prefer to choose their own car instead
of using public transport to travel to their destinations. This is because the quality of
such service provided by public Transportations that's quite severe in terms of time,
drivers and user friendly price.

7. Recommendations
Our suggestion for this issue is the government or the company that
manufactures should be more concerned with public transport service to the public. This
is of concern and is one of the popular issues with regard to public transportation.
Service means includes timing the arrival of a public transportation. This is because
public transportation delays arriving at the destination will make consumers spends a
long time for waiting.
In addition, drivers of public transportation should be user friendlier to students in
improving the quality of public transportation. This is because the hospitality of the
public transportation to attract users to use this facility. Most consumers prefer to use a
more customer-friendly service.
Furthermore, the fare applies able to the Students who use public transportation.
Price offered by the company to be affordable public transportation and unencumbered
Students. This is because public transport is often used by those with financial
problems.
