1 INTRODUCTION
This document provides information for the Cambium Networks PTP 810 Series System
Release PTP 810-01-40.

If SNMPv3 is being used to manage the MMU, a new license key will be required to
continue using this feature. Please contact your Cambium Networks reseller to obtain an
NMS AES upgrade, part number N000081K009. This will be supplied free of charge. The
upgrade can then be used to generate a license key at the Cambium Networks web site. The
new license key should be submitted to the MMU prior to installing 810-01-40.

The information in this document is subject to change without notice. The
recommendations, technical data, configurations and statements in this document are
believed to be reliable and accurate, but are presented without implied or express
warranty. Users must take full responsibility for their applications of any product specified
in this document. The information in this document is proprietary to Cambium Networks
Ltd.

4 PROBLEMS AND LIMITATIONS CORRECTED
Improvements to link reconfiguration
An issue has been recorded where an MMU can require a power cycle in order to restore
operation following reconfiguration. This has been resolved in System Release 810-01-40.
Certain frequency pairs cannot be selected for ODUs with Dual TR spacings
An issue has been recorded which prevents certain frequency pairs from being
programmed when the MMU is connected to an ODU which supports dual TR spacings. The
affected ODUs are as follows:

Frequency band Dual TR spacings
8 GHz 119 MHz and 126 MHz
11 GHz 490 MHz and 500 MHz
15 GHz 315 MHz and 322 MHz
18 GHz 1008 MHz and 1010 MHz

This has been resolved in System Release 810-01-40.
5 KNOWN PROBLEMS AND LIMITATIONS
Unable to synchronize STM-1 signal to front panel E1 signal - GigE Master I/O
Module and Enhanced Master I/O Module
When multiplexing E1 signals, it is not possible for the resultant STM-1 signal to be
synchronized to an E1 signal received at the front panel port. This issue only affects MMUs
fitted with an Enhanced Standard Master I/O Module or a GigE Master I/O Module. To
prevent undesired behaviour, the E1 Clock Quality attribute should be configured to Quality
Unknown in this case. Configuration of this attribute is described in the PTP 810 User
Guide.
