EXPERIENCE BMES RESEARCH PROJECT TEAM
Fall 2013 Continuing
Project done in partnership with Professor Vikash Gilja, UCSD. Focused on the
development of sensing systems to detect and modify brain activity. More specifically,
development of an electrode headband to detect spikes of signals in a non-invasive way.
- Development, construction and programing of the headband;
- Proposition and discussion of the implementations and applications of the band.
VOLUNTEER
2011 2012
Project done in partnership with Brasilias fire department. Designed to take care and tame
future and retired blind-guide dogs for visually impaired people.
- Walked, washed, played with the dogs;
- Interacted and advised visually impaired people registered in the program;
OTHER ACTIVITIES - Member of BMES UCSD Biomedical engineering society at UC San Diego;
- Nine years of experience with classical piano and musical theory;
- Fund-raising chair of Gamma Nu pledge class, Sigma Nu fraternity Kappa
