Demand Planning Analyst Best Buy
Job Description:
As a member of the Supply Chain team, the Demand Planning Analyst position gives you the
opportunity to help run a multi-channel business. Your core responsibilities will be to manage
and allocate inventory to over 1000 Stores and maintain business partnerships with some of
the largest Consumer Electronic Vendors. The Demand Planning Analyst will work in a cross
functional team to ensure the correct product is in the correct stores, in the right quantities,
and on time.

Senior Analyst Ascension Health
Job Description:
The Sr. Analyst is responsible for leading the value validation and supporting contracting
processes within supply chain and implementing supply chain strategies and initiatives with
regard to financial analysis, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics. Ensuring the accurate
and timely preparation/presentation of reports and data is a key responsibility. In addition, the
position will provide appropriate consultative services via written and verbal communications
and financial analysis to Supply Chain leadership within their respective Health Ministry(ies) and
Ascension Health. While this position may have focused responsibilities it will also support any
Supply Chain activities as necessary.
Essential Functions:
Support Chief Resource Officer and area-specific Operational leadership with financial
analysis, reporting, and measuring of data/statistics.
Develop support tools using advanced Excel and/or Access skills for implementation
support and tracking and reporting of performance metrics for facility supply
improvement initiatives.
Lead research initiatives for solution design, develop project plans, and manage process
to timely completion of goals.
Advise Chief Resource Officer regarding local contract coordination within "Centers of
Expertise" and serve as an information resource on related matters.
Develop data collection tools and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes.
Interpret data concerning financial trends and economic/business forecasts as they
relate to the performance metrics and provide recommendations to Chief Resource
Officer.
Lead the development of project management plans as well as manage and report on
progress.
Support implementation efforts of various Supply Chain and Decision Team initiatives
with regard to analysis, project planning, communication, and tactical assistance.
Assist with communication between the System Office and Health Ministries.
Participate in an Analyst-wide "community" spanning Ascension Health and its Health
Ministries for the purpose of building networks, assisting on projects, attending
community-building and training events, sharing best practices, and providing advice for
the betterment of the Analyst community.
Mentor and coach Analysts, as appropriate and where applicable.

Qualifications:
A Masters degree is required with three to five years applicable experience demonstrating
increasing responsibilities preferred. Healthcare experience, supply chain management and/or
other similar experience where analytical and critical thinking skills are considered to be
transferable is preferred. A Bachelors Degree in business related, logistics or finance is also
preferred.
The position requires strong analytical and skills with the ability to produce results with minimal
supervision. Critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Time
management and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time are vital. Proficient to
expert use of spreadsheet, database, presentation and word processing applications are
required. Candidates are also required to pass an Excel assessment and a business case study
given during the interview process.

Supply Chain Trainee - Nestle Purina
Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Management Trainee with Nestle Purina, youll embark on a personal and
professional development experience like no other. Youll be immersed in a highly technical and
quality-driven production environment where supply chain management plays a key role in
achieving our standards of continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence. Youll learn
our operations and understand how Supply Chain interacts with other factory functions as you
rotate through hands-on projects and assignments with our production, information systems,
quality assurance, engineering, finance, and human resources teams. Following your rotation,
youll collaborate with your supply chain mentor and leverage your new business knowledge to
deliver top-notch supply chain analysis and support to plant customers for the duration of your
trainee experience (typically 18-24 months). Real world application of technology with a market

Following your plant rotation, youll be responsible for:
Complete specific training in all warehouse, transportation and customer service
functions including temporary job assumption as assigned
Assist in the completion of assigned department improvements projects
Develop knowledge, awareness and understanding of the Consumer Products and
PetCare industries including understanding the consumer and or pet owner, knowing
Nestle Purina brands and the competition, and identifying and analyzing segment
trends.
Gain exposure to all the internal and external supply chain including plant logistics,
warehousing and transportation, customer team supply chain management, Order
Revenue Management and the customers.
Cultivate internal and external working relationships that provide exposure to multi-
disciplines, account management and customer teams

Qualifications:
Currently posses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics,
or Industrial Engineering required
Cumulative GPA must be at least 2.8
Must be willing to relocate to a Nestle Purina location upon completion of the program
Previous co-op or practicum experience desirable
Manufacturing experience a plus
Student organization and leadership experiences desirable
Must have initiative, responsibility, leadership potential and a solid work ethic Note:
