will contact you when a project becomes available.

Please complete the following:
1. Complete your CITI training.

CITI Training Instructions
You need to take the following CITI modules at the following site: https://www.citiprogram.org
CITI Training Requirements:
a. Basic/Refresher Course for Human Subjects (Biomedical Investigators, Question #2)
b. CITI Health Information Privacy and Security (HIPS, Question #4)
c. Responsible Conduct of Research Curriculum (Biomedical Investigators, Question #5)
d. Vulnerable Subjects (children) listed under optional modules

2. Email Jolene Daniel at jdanie@med.wayne.edu and Debbie DeCamillo at ddecamil@med.wayne.edu once you
have completed your CITI training. With the email attach the completed research application (see next page),
your CV and a copy of your valid drivers license or passport.
3. Once we have the information above we will contact you by email to coordinate a meeting with a WARNIT
faculty member.
4. If a project is assigned to you by a WARNIT faculty member, we will contact you with further information and

We will not be able to provide any kind of letter or documentation for VISA/immigration purposes.
WARNIT is not related to Wayne State University/DMC residency programs, observership, or application to
them.
YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP PATIENTS INFORMATION AND INFORMATION ON RESEARCH
CONFIDENTIAL.
UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO NOTIFY US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU WOULD
BE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNED PROJECT BY THE DUE DATE, IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT
