MARRIAGE LICENSE
For a legal marriage to take place, Couple must obtain a valid marriage license in the state where the ceremony will take
place. The marriage license needs to be presented to Officiant at least 15 minutes BEFORE the ceremony. Failure to have a
valid license means that Officiant cannot perform a legal marriage ceremony and is under no obligation to do so. Officiant
may at his discretion , perform a symbolic ceremony, which will have no legal merit, and perform another ceremony in private
for the couple once the legal documents are presented, for an additional fee.
Two adult witnesses also are required to be present. Officiant will mail the license to the appropriate clerk's office within7
business days of the wedding ceremony.

CEREMONY AND REHEARSAL TIMES AND OVERAGE FEE
Couple and wedding party must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled rehearsal time. Officiant allows for a 1 (one) hour
block of time per rehearsal. If more time is needed due to a late start, and if Officiant is available, then a fee of $15 per each

overage fee must be paid immediately after the rehearsal is concluded.
Officiant and Couple agree to arrive at the wedding location listed on the contract at the agreed upon time for

but Officiant can accommodate weddings that start (or end) later than scheduled only as Officiant's schedule permits.
Officiant allows for a 1 (one) hour block of time per wedding to give Couple plenty of time and give room for unexpected
delays. If more time is needed, and if Officiant is available, then a fee of $15 per each additional 15 minutes beyond the hour
allotted will be charged until the ceremony is finished. Couple understands that the overage fee must be paid immediately
after the wedding is concluded. Officiant cannot and will not be late for any wedding booked after Couple's. This applies to
Couple's wedding as well, except for extenuating situations listed above. Overage fees are waived in the event of an actual
emergency. An emergency is defined as a catastrophic event or act of God.

DATE CHANGE BY COUPLE
If Couple needs to change the wedding date or time, and Officiant is available on the new date, Officiant will simply change
the date and re-reserve it under the new date. If Officiant is unable to officiate the ceremony on the new date, and
consultation has taken place, and Couple has received a draft of the ceremony, the full contracted amount is due to
Officiant(minus travel and holiday fees). If Officiant is unable to officiate the ceremony on the new date, and consultation
has taken place, the booking fee/deposit is forfeited and Officiant is relieved of all responsibilities set forth in this contract.
Couple MUST contact Officiant immediately if there are any changes in rehearsal/ceremony times or locations! If Couple
fails to communicate changes and Officiant arrives according to contract time, Couple is still responsible to pay for
Officiant's services.
If Couple changes the time or date of the scheduled ceremony without Officiant s consent, Officiant reserves the right to
cancel her performance of or participation in the ceremony, and shall in no way be held responsible or liable in any manner
for such non-performance.

CANCELLATION BY COUPLE
If for any reason Couple decides not to use the services of Officiant after payment of the non-refundable deposit, Couple must
inform the Officiant, in writing, at least thirty (30) days prior to the wedding date in order to release Couple from this
contract. If Couple properly notifies Officiant of cancellation after Couple and Officiant have had a consultation and a draft
of the ceremony has been presented to Couple, 80% of the total amount of this contract (minus travel and holiday fees) must
be paid to Officiant. If Couple properly notifies Officiant of cancellation before the ceremony draft has been presented to
Couple, but after consultation has taken place, 70% of the total amount of this contract must be paid to Officiant. If Couple
notifies Officiant of cancellation before consultation has taken place, the Couple will forfeit the 50% non-refundable
deposit/booking fee, not as punishment, but as compensation for a breach of the Couple's obligations under the contract upon
which Officiant relied.

If Couple cancels the wedding or Officiant's services within 30 calendar days of the contracted wedding date, Couple agrees to
pay the full contract fee (minus travel and holiday fees) to Officiant.

OFFICIANT UNABLE TO PERFORM
In the unlikely event that Officiant is unable to perform the ceremony due to illness, hospitalization, family emergency,
transportation breakdown, or any other unforeseeable causes, Officiant will make every possible attempt to notify the couple,
and will attempt to find a substitute Officiant who will provide the same level of service. In the unlikely event that a
replacement cannot be found, then Officiant will make a full refund of the fees pre-paid by the Couple and Officiant is relieved
