Cable materials supplied shall be third-party listed as meeting the
requirements of UL standards (UL 1277, NEC Article 727, 770, and NEC
Article 725 as applicable, or approved equal standards). (NFPA 70 NEC)

Oil Resistant Cable: Cable intended for applications where it may be
exposed to hydrocarbon oil shall be so designated on Form 8020-913-
ENG, Line Item 28. The manufacturer shall certify that the cable is

Listing, Marking, and Installation of Communications Wires and Cables.
Communications wires and cables installed as wiring within buildings
shall be listed as being suitable for the purpose and installed in
accordance with 800.52. Communications cables and undercarpet
communications wires shall be marked in accordance with Table 800.50.-

All fiber optic cables installed as wiring within buildings shall be air core,
Optical Fiber Non conductive Plenum (OFNP) or Optical Fiber Non
conductive Riser (OFNR) type with or without non metallic moisture
barrier and shall be listed as being suitable for the purpose, listed as
being resistant to spread of fire in accordance with the NEC article 770
Section 770-51, installed in accordance with Section 770-52, and marked
in accordance with Table 770-50.
