Bible Study Lessons (part #1)
1. Can This World Depend On Yahuwah's Word When Everything Has Failed?

The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
In the annals of human history, the growth of nations, the rise and fall of empires, appear as if dependent on
the will and prowess of man; the shaping of events seems, to a great degree, to be determined by his power,
ambition, or caprice. But in the word of [Yahuwah] the curtain is drawn aside, and we behold, above, behind,
and through all the play and counterplay of human interest and power and passions, the agencies of the All-
merciful One, silently, patiently working out the counsels of His own
will. Ellen White, Prophets and Kings, page 499
Is the Bible perfect? The messages of the Bible are perfect. The
translations of the Bible are not perfect but that does not make the
Bible in error.
The Bible contains many apparent mistakes and inconsistencies.
However, the Bible reveals just the Savior every human heart needs.
How can an uninspired book contain all the principles so perfectly
adapted to the wants and desire of a fallen world?
The following are seven reasons why we believe the Bible is true and is the only source of truth:
1. Evidence of Internal Consistency. The Bible consists of different 66 books written by 37 different authors over a
period of about 1,500 years on three different continents. Probably the most controversial and volatile subject
in all human history is Is there a higher power? Lets choose another subject not nearly as controversial, for
example, food. Now select 37 different authors from the US to compile their thoughts and ideas about food. Do
you think if we compiled all their writings together we would be in harmony? One author may say the best food
is raw meat, the other green leafy vegetables, the other fruits. If there isnt harmony between 37 contemporary
authors who all come from the same background to agree on something as simple as food doesnt it strike you
as incredible that 37 different authors over a period spanning of 1,500 years on 3 continents from a myriad of
cultures from various different social-economic backgrounds could
write on the most controversial subject in history and they could be
in harmony.
2. Evidence of History. All true and genuine history confirms and
corroborates the Bible record.
3. Testimony of Archeology. US News stated that there has never been
a single evidence of archeology in history that has contradicted what
the Bible said.
4. Testimony of Science. All true science agrees with the Bible. In fact
many of the great scientists of history have been Bible believing
Children of Yahuwah (Newton, Einstein, Kepler, Copernicus, Galileo,
Sir Francis Bacon, Gregor Mendel, William Thomson Kelvin, to name
a few). There is no contradiction between true science and the Bible.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

5. Testimony of Relevancy. The Bible began 1500 BC. When people pick up this book in search of the truth they
find what they are looking for. All their needs are met. The Bible was relevant in the time of Moses, it was
relevant in the time of Yahushua and it is just as relevant to today. It is incredible that a book could speak so
eloquently to a modern generation.
6. The Testimony of a Changed Life. Any Child of Yahuwah that you meet that has surrendered their life to
Yahushua will tell you that their life has changed when they began to read the Bible. The drunkard man will
become sober man, the thief becomes an honest man. The Bible has the power to change the life and heart of
man.
7. The testimony of prophecy. Prophecy is the prediction of future events; a forecast. To forecast the future
reliably you would have to know what will happen before it happens. One-third of the Bible contains specific
prophecies that have been fulfilled. Who ever inspired this book knew not only the past and the present but
knew the future as well.
Inspiration of the Scriptures
1. By what name or title did Yahushua and the holy men of Yahuwah refer to the sacred writings of the Old
Testament, the Bible of their day?
Yahushua saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The
stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the
corner? Matthew 21:42. Wherefore also it is contained in the
scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and
he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 1 Peter 2:6. But I will
shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth Daniel 10:21.
And Yahushua answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not
live by bread alone, but by every word of Yahuwah. Luke 4:4. And he
answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these
which hear the word of Yahuwah, and do it. Luke 8:21. And it came to
pass the same night, that the word of Elohim came to Nathan, saying 1
Chronicles 17:3. Every word of Eloah is pure: he is a shield unto them
that put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5.
Answer: They all refer to the sacred writings as the Scriptures, the word of Yahuwah, or the "word of
Elohim/Eloah."
2. How were the Scriptures given?
"All scripture is given by inspiration of Yahuwah." 2 Timothy 3:16.
Answer: By Divine prompting or guidance.
Holy Scripture comes to us in four steps from Yahuwah Himself. "The Revelation of Yahushua, the Anointed,
which Yahuwah gave unto Him. And He [Yahushua] sent and signified it by His angel unto his servant John:
who bare record of the word of Yahuwah .... Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear." Revelation 1:1-3.
3. By what agency did holy men of Yahuwah speak for Him?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of
Yahuwah spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:21.
The Spirit of Yahuwah spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. 2
Samuel 23:2.
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of the Anointed which
was in them did signify. . . 1 Peter 1:11.
Answer: By the Holy Spirit- The Spirit of Yahuwah and Yahushua, His only-
begotten Son. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of Yahuwah dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of the Anointed, he is none of His. Romans
8:9. And because ye are sons, Yahuwah hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba,
Father. Galatians 4:6.
4. Who, therefore, did the speaking through these men?
"Yahuwah, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets.
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he
made the worlds;." Hebrews 1:1-2.
Answer: The spirit of Yahushua.
"The Bible points to [Yahuwah] as its author; yet it was written by human hands; and in the varied style of its
different books it presents the characteristics of the several writers. The truths revealed are all given by
inspiration of *Yahuwah+ (2 Timothy 3:16); yet they are expressed in the words of men. The Infinite One by His
Holy Spirit has shed light into the minds and hearts of His servants. He has given dreams and visions, symbols
and figures; and those to whom the truth was thus revealed have themselves embodied the thought in human
language." The Great Controversy, v. 3.

The Bible Imparts True Knowledge
5. For what reasons were the Scriptures written?
"For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our
learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might
have hope." Romans 15:4. Now all these things happened unto them for
ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends
of the world are come. 1 Corinthians 10:11. For profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, That the man of
Yahuwah may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2
Timothy 3: 16, 17.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Answer:
A. For our learning
B. For our admonition
C. For doctrine
D. For reproof
E. For correction
F. For instruction in righteousness
G. To be perfect
H. To be throughly furnished unto all good works
6. What does Yahuwah design that His Word shall be to us in this world of darkness, sin, and death?
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119: 105. For the commandment is a
lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life Pr 6:23.
Answer: His Word shall be to us a lamp to our feet and light to our path.
7. What three general divisions did Yahushua refer to in the writings of the Old Testament?
"And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things
must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning
me." Luke 24:44.
Answer:
A. The Law of Moses
B. The Prophets
C. The Psalms
"The law of Moses" was a common Jewish term for the first five books of the Old Testament. In "the prophets"
they included Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the twelve minor prophets; also Joshua, Judges, I and 2 Samuel,
and I and 2 Kings. "The psalms" included all the remaining books.
The writings of the apostles also were recognized as part of the Scriptures.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

2 Peter 3:15-16 says: "Even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath
written unto you; as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to
be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto
their own destruction."
Peter here considers the Apostle Paul's writings as part of the Scriptures, and doubtless he felt the same about
the writings of the other apostles.
8. Upon what proof did Yahushua base His Messiahship?
"And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things
concerning himself." Verse 27.
Answer: Old Testament prophecies.
Much of the beauty and depth of divine truth is lost to those who read
only the New Testament. Yahushua referred particularly to the Old
Testament prophecies as proof of His Messiahship. When Yahushua
spoke of the Scriptures, He meant the Old Testament, for the New
Testament had not yet been written. The references in the New
Testament to the word, "Scriptures," refer to the Old Testament.
Consider the following scriptures for further studies about Yahushua:
Genesis 3:15; 22:18; 26:4; 49:10; Numbers 21:9; Deuteronomy 18:15;
Psalms 16:9-10; 22:1-31; 132:11; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 40:10-11; 50:6; 53:1-
12; Jeremiah 23:5; 33:14-15; Ezekiel 34:23; 37:25; Daniel 9:24; Micah
7:20; Malachi 3:1; 4:2; Luke 24:45; John 1:45.
There are more than 250 direct quotations from the Old Testament in
the New Testament. One will find that there is complete harmony between the Old and New Testaments.
They are a unit, standing or falling together. The Old is the foundation for the New.
9. What is Yahuwah called in the Scriptures?
"He is... an Eloah of truth." Deuteronomy 32:4. Yahushua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the
life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6 In hope of eternal life, which Yahuwah, that
cannot lie Titus 1:2. That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for Yahuwah to lie Hebrews
6:18.
Answer: Eloah of Truth.
Yahuwahs Word to Become a Part of Us
10. What, therefore, must be the character of His word?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." John 17:17.
Answer: His word is truth.
11. To what extent has Yahuwah magnified His word?
"Thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name."
Psalm 138:2.
Answer: Above His name.
A man's name stands for his character. It is the same with
Yahuwah. When Yahuwah places His word above His
name, His character becomes the foundation of His word
and the pledge that His word will be fulfilled. (Hebrews 6:
13, 14.)
12. What proof do we have that Yahushua expressed His
conviction and belief in Scripture?
"But he answered and said It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone... It is written again, Thou shalt not
tempt Yahuwah thy Eloah... it is written, Thou shalt worship Yahuwah thy Eloah, and him only shalt thou
serve." Matthew 4:4, 7, 10.
Answer: It is His habit to quote the scripture as the final authority in all situations He finds Himself.
The Sure Word Of Prophecy
13. What has Yahuwah included in Scripture to help us build confidence in its divine inspiration?
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I
declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9.
"Remember the former things of old: for I am El, and there is none
else; I am Elohim, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from
the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet
done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.
Isaiah 46:9 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to
pass, ye may believe that I am he. John 13:19 And now I have told
you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might
believe." John 14:29.
Answer: Bible prophecies. Notice the following examples of fulfilled
Bible prophecies:
www.WorldsLastChance.com

A. Tyre, a flourishing maritime port of the ancient Phoenicians. This large, rich city was wicked in the sight of
Yahuwah and He made a prediction of doom upon the city. In Ezekiel 26:7-14 Yahuwah foretold six things that
would happen to Tyre:
1. He would bring Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon against Tyre.
2. Many people in Tyre would be killed.
3. The ruins of the city would be thrown into the sea.
4. The city area would be scraped free of rubble, like the top of a rock.
5. Fishermen would use this site to spread fishing nets.
6. It would never be rebuilt.
The old city was scraped free of rubble like the top of a rock and Alexander marched his army to the island and
conquered the new Tyre. Today it is common to see fishermen spread their nets where the old city once
stood. Three attempts to rebuild the city have all failed. Ezekiel 26:14 states, I will make you like the top of a
rock; you shall be a place for spreading nets, and you shall never be rebuilt, for I Yahuwah have spoken, says
the Creator Yahuwah. This remarkable prediction was fulfilled in every detail.
B. EGYPT. Surely Egypt enjoys a glorious past. But what of today? Yahuwah's word records a prediction.
Anciently, Egypt was famous for her supply of Papyrus, or paper to the world. The Papyrus reed grew
bountifully along the river Nile, and other waterways. However, Yahuwah foretold that the paper reeds by the
brooks and rivers would wither and vanish away, and be no more in the land of Egypt. And even this minute
detail has been fulfilled. The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by
the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more. Isaiah 19:7.
C. BABYLON. The greatest city of the ancient world, is often spoken of
as the golden city of a golden age. Jeremiah prophesied concerning
Babylon:
And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for
foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith Yahuwah. Jer
51:26. And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons,
an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant. Jer 51:37
But the prophecy is still more definite in the book of Isaiah 13:20,21: It
shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to
generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the
shepherds make their fold there. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie
www.WorldsLastChance.com

there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance
there. Isa 13:20, 21. The mighty palaces and hanging gardens of Babylon are only a memory, but the Arab still
lives in his tents.
14. Are revelations of science and the experiences of life in harmony with the testimony of Scripture?
Answer: Yes. Here are a few facts of the natural world that have been confirmed by science:
A. He ... hangs the earth upon nothing. Job 26:7.
The suspension of the earth in space was described by Copernicus in 1543.
B. He looks to the ends of the earth: to make the weight for the winds. Job 28:24, 25.
Galileo, (1564-1642) was the first to affirm that air had weight.
C. Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and
comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a
balance? Isaiah 40:12.
Only in recent years has it been realized how important are the proportions and balance of the land masses
and oceans on the earths surface.
D. They *the heavens and the earth+ shall perish; but Thou remains; and they all shall wax old as cloth a
garment. Hebrews 1:11.
Not until the twentieth century was the progressive aging and disintegration of matter by radioactivity
discovered. Nature is going down. The downward journey is easy, while the upward is either hard or
impossible.-Sir lames H. Jeans, The Universe Around Us, page 306.
E. For the life of all flesh is the blood thereof. Leviticus 17:14.
The circulation and function of the blood was discovered by William
Harvey in 1615.
Prophecy and miracle confirm the word; science and revelation are
co-witnesses to the same [Creator Yahuwah]; astronomy hints His
eternity, immensity, infinity, natural philosophy tells of His
omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence; physiology suggests His
wisdom and goodness the beginnings of life, of consciousness, of
intelligence and of conscience, are miracles which cannot be accounted
for without Almighty power, and ought to make both atheism and
pantheist alike impossible. While the heart of man and the history of

man unite to witness to a need and a craving never filled except by . . . *Yahushua+.-Arthur T. Pierson, Many
Infallible Proofs, page 19.
15. Are there health principles in the Bible that can be followed today?
Answer: Yes. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.. Psalms 67:2.
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3
John 2.
A. Freedom from disease and sickness by OBEDIENCE: Exodus 15:26.
B. Eat neither fat nor blood: Leviticus 3:17; 7:23, 26; 17:10-14
C. a difference between the clean and the unclean: Lev. 11:2-11
D. A warning against excess sweets: Proverbs 25:16, 27
E. GLUTTONY or Overeating is harmful: Proverbs 23:2; Eccl. 10:17
F. HYGIENE- Washing the body and clothes to control germs: Leviticus 15:2-11
G. LABOUR- Importance of work: Exodus 20:9; 1 Timothy 5:8
H. REST- Our bodies need proper rest: Mark 6:31
I. MORALITY- Moral living prevents sexual diseases such as AIDS epidemic, abortion etc: 1 Corinthians 3:17;
6:19; 10:8.; Proverbs 5:1-12
J. Human body waste should be buried: Deuteronomy 23:12,13
K. QUARANTINE to control contagious disease: Leviticus 13:46; Numbers 5:1-4
L. Sterilization: Numbers 31:22,23
M. Happy heart- The health benefits of a positive attitude: Proverbs 17:22; 1 Timothy 6:6
N. To love and help others- Hatred and bitterness destroy health: Matthew 25:34-40; Exodus 23:4,5,9,25
O. Hatred and bitterness destroy health: Leviticus 19:17,18; Proverbs 15:17

Creative Power of the Word
16. Through what agency did Yahuwah create the heavens?
"By the word of Yahuwah were the heavens made; and all the host of
them by the breath of His mouth .... For He spake, and it was done; He
commanded, and it stood fast." Psalm 33:6-9.
Answer: By His Word.
17. What change is wrought in one who is in Yahushua?
"Therefore if any man be in Yahushua, he is a new creature [literally,
"a new creation"]: old things are passed away; behold, all things are
become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Answer: He is a new creature and all things become new.
18. How do the heavens witness to the Bibles revelation of Yahuwah and of His power?
The heavens declare the glory of Yahuwah; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalms 19:1.
Answer: Everything points with overwhelming force to a definite event, or series of events, of creation at
some time or times, not infinitely remote. The universe cannot have originated by chance out of its present
ingredients, and neither can it have been always the same as now.
19. What witness do all created things give to their Maker and to the truth of the Bible record?
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things
that are made, even His eternal power and divinity. Romans 1:20.
Answer: All human discoveries seem to be made only for the purpose of confirming more and more strongly
the truths contained in the Sacred Scriptures.
Science is compelled to accept the idea of creative power.-Lord Kelvin, quoted by Bernard Heywood, This Is
Our Faith, page 36.
In our study of natural objects we are approaching the thoughts of the Creator, reading His conceptions,
interpreting a system that is His and not ours.-1,ouls J. R. Agassiz, Methods of Study in Natural History, 19th
ed., page 14.
Cleansed and Kept by His Word
www.WorldsLastChance.com

20. To a world alienated from Yahuwah through disobedience to His
word, what assurance does the Bible bring?
I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Anointed: for it is the power of
Yahuwah unto salvation to everyone that believes. Romans 1:16.
Answer: Grace and Power to obey Yahuwah.
The Bible finds us where we are, and, if permitted, takes us where we
ought to go.... What the Bible promises is fabulous but not fable.-
Raymond Irving Lindquist, The Word of God, Theology Today, vol. 3,
No. 2, p. 158.
The multitudes go to the Bible, not for knowledge, but for power;
they go to renew their sense of spiritual realities, and to catch again
the vision splendid. This book passes beyond a classic and becomes to
men a word of Yahuwah, because it voices those ultimate truths which
give to life its meaning. These are the truths upon which our faith
rests, which bring comfort to our hearts, and keep burning the fires of hope.
21. What transformation is made possible through the word?
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of Yahuwah, which lives and
abides forever. 1 Peter 1:23.
Answer: To be born again
22. How does the word bless the transformed life?
A. It gives understanding. The entrance of Thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
Psalm 119:130.
B. It keeps from sin. Thy word have 1 hid in mine heart that I might not sin against Thee. Verse 11.
C. It guides in the way of life. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Verse 105.
D. It builds. Now, brethren, I commend you to Yahuwah, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build
you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32.
E. It gives hope. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through
patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4.

The Word Was Yahushua
23. Numerous times in this lesson we have mentioned the word of Yahuwah; who is the word?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim,
and the Word was Elohim. . . . And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:1, 14
Answer: The Word of Yahuwah is not just a book. The word of
Yahuwah is a being, namely Yahushua, the Anointed, and the
written Word reveals His character.
24. Since it is dangerous to base our beliefs on one verse of
Scripture, what should we do?
"Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to
understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and
drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept
upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a
little." Isaiah 28:9-10
"Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual." 1 Corinthians 2:13
Answer: We should compare scripture with scripture before forming our belief.
25. How important is it to pray for the guidance of the the Father's holy Spirit before we study the Bible?
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." John 16:13.
[1 Corinthians 2:10, 14; Romans 8:14]
Answer: The office of the Holy Spirit is distinctly specified in the words of *Yahushua+: "When He is come, He
will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment." John 16:8. It is the Holy Spirit that
convicts of sin. If the sinner responds to the quickening influence of the Spirit, he will be brought to
repentance and aroused to the importance of obeying the divine requirements.
To the repentant sinner, hungering and thirsting for righteousness, the Holy Spirit reveals the Lamb of
Yahuwah that taketh away the sin of the world. ""He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you,"
[Yahushua] said. "He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you." John 16:14; 14:26." Acts of the Apostles, page 52.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

26. Is it safe to accept someone else's conviction as to what constitutes truth?
"Thus saith Yahuwah; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart
departeth from Yahuwah." Jeremiah 17:5 (Also read, Acts 17:11; Isaiah 30:1).
Answer: "[Yahuwah] has given us His word that we may become acquainted with its teachings and know for
ourselves what He requires of us... It is not enough to have good intentions; it is not enough to do what a man
thinks is right or what the minister tells him is right. His soul's salvation is at stake, and he should search the
Scriptures for himself. However strong may be his convictions, however confident he may be that the minister
knows what is true, this is not his foundation. He has a chart pointing out every waymark on the heavenward
journey, and he ought not guess at anything. It is the first and highest duty of every rational being to learn
from the Scriptures what is truth, and then to walk in the light and encourage others to follow his example.
We should day by day study the Bible diligently, weighing every thought and comparing Scripture with
Scripture. With divine help we are to form our opinions for ourselves as we are to answer for ourselves
before [Yahuwah]." The Great Controversy, page 598.
Are you grateful to Yahuwah that you can confidently rely on His word for your life?

Bible Study Lessons (part #1)
2. How To Study The Bible?
Go to Part #1 Lessons Index Go To Quiz (offline/online)
The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
It is the first and highest duty of every rational being to learn from the Scriptures what is truth, and then to walk in the
light, and encourage others to follow his example. We should day by day study the Bible diligently, weighing every
thought, and comparing scripture with scripture. With divine help, we are to form our opinions for ourselves, as,we are
to answer for ourselves before [Yahuwah]. -The Great Controversy, 1884 ed, page 416.
Allow no one to be brains for you, allow no one to do your thinking, your investigating, and your praying. This
is the instruction we need to take to heart today. Many of you are convinced that the precious treasure of the
kingdom of Yahuwah and of Yahushua is in the Bible which you hold in your hand. You know that no earthly
treasure is attainable without painstaking effort. Why should you expect to understand the treasures of the
word of Yahuwah without diligently searching the Scriptures?
It is our duty to read the Bible daily. But casual reading of the Scriptures is not enough. The knowledge of
Yahuwah is not to be gained without mental effort, without prayer for wisdom
in order that you may separate from the pure grain of truth the chaff with
which men and Satan have misrepresented the doctrines of truth. Satan and his
confederacy of human agents have endeavored to mix the chaff of error with
the wheat of truth.
The study of the Bible demands our most diligent effort and persevering
thought. As the miner digs for the golden treasure in the earth, so earnestly,
persistently, must we seek for the treasure of Yahuwah's word.
We should diligently seek for the hidden treasure, and seek wisdom from
heaven in order to separate human inventions from the divine commands. The
Holy Spirit will aid the seeker of truth. Yahuwah says, "If any man willeth to do His will, he shall know of the
teaching." John 7:17
You Can Understand the Bible
1. Does Yahuwah intend that we should understand the Scriptures?
The secret things belong unto Yahuwah our Eloah: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to
our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29. And He said unto them,
Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of Yahuwah. Mark 4:11.
Answer: Yes
www.WorldsLastChance.com

2. Why do some people find it difficult to understand the Bible?
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be
carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and
peace. Romans 8:5. Which things also we speak, not in the
words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost
teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural
man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Yahuwah: for they are
foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are
spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:13, 14. This I say therefore,
and testify in the Master, that ye henceforth walk not as other
Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the
understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of Yahuwah
through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of
their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over
unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Ephesians 4:17-19.
Answer: They are not with the Spirit of Yahuwah
3. Can the unconverted fully understand Yahuwahs word?
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Yahushua by
night, and said unto Him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from Yahuwah: for no man can do
these miracles that thou doest, except Yahuwah be with him. Yahushua answered and said unto him, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of Yahuwah. Nicodemus saith
unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and
be born? Yahushua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of Yahuwah. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born
of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it
listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is
every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:1-8.
Answer: No, it is not possible. It is foolish things to him.
4. Are some parts of the Bible more difficult to understand than others?
And account that the longsuffering of our Master is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also
according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of
these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable
wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2 Peter 3:15, 16.
Answer: Yes, Apostle Peter attested to it.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

5. Is there any relationship between obedience and the understanding of Yahuwah's word?
Teach me, O Yahuwah, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I
shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me to go in the path of thy
commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn
away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. Stablish thy word unto thy servant,
who is devoted to thy fear. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good. Behold, I have
longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness. Psalm 119:33-40.
Answer: Yes, Yahushua said that If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of
Yahuwah, or whether I speak of myself. John 7:17.
6. As we seek to understand Yahuwah's word, who will help us?
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures Luke 24:45. That the Eloah
of our Master Yahushua, the Anointed, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know
what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the
exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
Ephesians 1:17-19.
Answer: The Father Himself has promised to help us to understand His words. Consider what I say; and the
Master give thee understanding in all things. 2 Timothy 2:7.
7. Through whom does this help come?
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom
the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth
him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. .
. . But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to
your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:16, 17,
26. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:13.
Answer: Through the Spirit of Yahuwah.
A true knowledge of the Bible can be gained only through the aid of
that Spirit by whom the word was given. And in order to gain this
knowledge we must live by it. All that Yahuwah's word commands, we
are to obey. All that it promises, we may claim. The life which it enjoins is the life that, through its power, we
are to live. Only as the Bible is thus held can it be studied effectively.

Principles Of Bible Study
8. Of what value is Bible study?
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John
5:39. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto
salvation through faith which is in the Anointed Yahushua. All scripture is given by inspiration of Yahuwah, and
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of
Yahuwah may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:15-17.
You will have eternal life.
9. How important was Yahuwah's word to Job?
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more
than my necessary food. Job 23:12.
More necessary than food.
10. What noble example of Bible study is recorded in the Bible?
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11.
The Bereans because they searched the scriptures daily.
11. What should be our purpose in the study of the Bible?
Study to shew thyself approved unto Yahuwah, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.
The student of the Bible should be taught to approach it in the spirit of a learner. We are to search its pages,
not for proof to sustain our opinions, but in order to know what our heavenly Father says.
Precept upon precept, line upon line
12. How are we to arrive at a correct interpretation of Bible truth?
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line,
line upon line; here a little, and there a little Isaiah 28:10. For by one Spirit
are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether
we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1
Corinthians 12:13.

Answer: The Bible explains itself by comparing verse with verse.
13. As we read the Bible, what else should we do?
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Timothy
4:15.
Answer: Meditate upon it.
In daily study the verse-by-verse method is often most helpful. Let the student of the word take one verse,
and concentrate the mind on ascertaining the thought that Yahuwah has put into that verse for him, and then
dwell upon the thought until it becomes his own. One passage thus studied until its significance is clear is of
more value than the perusal of many chapters with no definite purpose in view and no positive instruction
gained.
Faith and Yahuwah-like Wisdom
14. As we study Yahuwahs word, for what should we pray?
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Psalms 119:18. If any of you lack
wisdom, let him ask of Yahuwah, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind
and tossed. James 1:5,6.
Answer: We must pray for faith, Yahuwah-like wisdom and proper understanding of His words.
NOTE: Never should the Bible be studied without prayer. Before opening its pages we should ask for the
enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, and it will be given. . . . [Yahushua] will see us. . . . in the secret places of
prayer if we will seek Him for light that we may know what is truth. Angels from the world of light will be with
those who in humility of heart seek for divine guidance. Steps to Christ, page 91.
15. Of what personal benefit is the study of the Bible to the children of Yahuwah?
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. . . . Thy word
have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:9,19.
Answer: Faith in Yahuwah's word, prayerfully studied and practically applied will be our shield from Satan's
power, and will bring us off conquerors through the blood of Yahushua.
NOTE: Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures, and who have received the love of the
truth, will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive. By the Bible testimony these
will detect the deceiver in his disguise. To all, the testing time will come. By the sifting of temptation, the
genuine [child of Yahuwah] will be revealed. Are the people of [Yahuwah] now so firmly established upon his
Word that they would not yield to the evidence of their senses? Would they, in such a crisis, cling to the Bible,
and the Bible only? Satan will, if possible, prevent them from obtaining a preparation to stand in that day. He

will so arrange affairs as to hedge up their way, entangle them with earthly treasures, cause them to carry a
heavy, wearisome burden, that their hearts may be overcharged with the cares of this life, and the day of trial
may come upon them as a thief. The Great Controversy 1888 ed, page 625.
Suggested Methods Of Bible Study
1. Read it reverently. The holy angels who are ever before the throne of Yahuwah cover their faces as they
sing His praise. We should shut out of our minds all worldly thoughts when we open the pages of our Heavenly
Father's word.
2. Read it slowly. Let its truths have time to take root. "Be still, and know" (Psalm 46:10), says the Mighty One.
Be quiet, unhurried, that you may hear His voice. Only so can you know your Bible. "The Bible in the hand
won't do; the Bible in the head won't do; but the Bible in the heart means eternal life."
3. Read it submissively. The Bible is Yahuwah's message to you. Through its pages, He will speak to your heart,
leading you into all truth. Come to this reading in a submissive, teachable, obedient spirit, and you will be truly
taught of Him.
4. Read it prayerfully. Take your Bible to Yahushua, that He may give you understanding. Think not so much of
the number of chapters and verses as of your need, and the help which your Father is waiting to send you
through His word. And remember that your progress in comprehension at the Bible will be measured by your
earnestness in prayer.
5. Read it daily. I am sorry for the men who do not read the Bible every day," said President Wilson. "Today,"
is the word of inspiration. "Today ... hear, His voice"- and every day. Do not miss one, or say to yourself,
"Tomorrow." What if, for you, tomorrow should not come?
6. Read it first. The Bible ought to have the best time in the day; and for most, men, the best time in the day is
the early morning hour." No matter what other books press their claims upon your time and thought, do not
open one till you have spent some time with the Bible.
7. Read it last. Come to the Book at nightfall. The day may bring temptation and defeat, toil and weariness,
grief and humiliation. Whatever has come, we still need that which Yahushua alone can bestow. "Come unto
Me, ... and I will give" (Matthew 11:28), is His gracious invitation. There is only one condition-Come. And how
better can we come to Him than to sit down for a little space with His word, telling Him our heart's need, and
listening to His message to us?
Is it your desire to let Yahushua teach you truth through His Word? Will you endeavor to study His Word
every day in the way Yahuwah has told us to study it?

Bible Study Lessons (part #1)
3. How To Receive Answers To Prayer?
Go to Part #1 Lessons Index Go To Quiz (offline/online)
The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be
open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 2 Chronicles 7:14, 15.
One of the most astounding facts of the spiritual life is that Yahuwah hears and answers prayer. The Bible
abounds with the testimony of those whose prayers have been signally answered, and every sincere child of
Yahuwah can add his own personal experiences in which Yahuwah has opened the windows of heaven and
granted his petitions.
Prayer puts man in touch with Yahuwah. It forms the connecting link between human weakness and
Yahuwahs omnipotence. Out of weakness men are made strong. See Hebrews 11:34.
The Privilege of Prayer
1. What is prayer?
He said unto them. When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven. Luke 11:2. For we have not an high
priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are,
yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find
grace to help in time of need, Hebrews 4:15-16. And since Yahushua is the friend of sinners, He invites the
most sinful to come to Yahuwah through Him.
Answer:
A. The cry of a soul in need.
Prayer is the cry of a soul in need, but it is much more than that. Have mercy upon me, 0 Yahuwah, for I am in
trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly. Psalm 31:9. Elohim is our refuge and
strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.
B. The opening of the heart to Yahuwah.
Real prayer is the opening of the heart to Yahuwah as to a friend. It is not just asking for things. It isn't all
talking on man's part or on Yahuwah's part. It is some of each, and more. It may be communion in utter
silence at times-just a sacred sense of His holy, presence. Be still, and know that I am Elohim (Psalm 46:10).
Yahuwah asks us to call Him Father; therefore we may freely come to Him with our problems and our joys.
Prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven's storehouse, where are treasured the boundless
resources of Omnipotence Steps to Christ, page 94.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

2. What prayer is not?
Answer: Prayer is not an act of merit that earns Yahuwah's favor. Yahushua said: He. . sendeth rain on the just
and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45.
If prayer would get us anything we wanted, we probably would pray not so much for holiness as for temporal
benefits which would not be used to our good or Yahuwah's glory. Many are already like the little boy who
failed to say grace at the table one morning. His father asked why. The answer came, We don't need to pray
for bread today. I looked in the bread box and there is enough for three days.
Prayer is not ostentation and show (Matthew 6:1-8). It is not a set form of words for a set occasion recited to
the accompaniment of spinning prayer wheels or moving beads, though many who pray thus are sincere and
true. Prayer is communion with Yahuwah, and may take place whenever and wherever the soul of man
reaches out sincerely for his Creator.
3. Why do we pray?
Four questions will help to find the answer:
A. Is it to give Yahuwah information?
0 Yahuwah. Thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising. Thou
understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all
my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, 0 Yahuwah, thou knowest it altogether. Psalm 139:1-4.
Does Yahuwah need information? No! Your Father knowest what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him
(Matthew 6:8). Still He never wearies of our coming to Him in sincere prayer. Unburden your heart. Take all
the time you need. Don't rush. Think when you pray. If you were talking to the president of your country, you
would be alert, wouldn't you? Be alert and reverent when you talk to Yahuwah, and your prayers will be heard
in heaven.
B. Is it to make Yahuwah willing?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him? Luke 11:13.
Prayer is not overcoming Yahuwah's reluctance; it is taking hold of Yahuwah's willingness: Prayer does not
make Him willing, for He is always willing to help us.
C. Is it to change Yahuwah?
I am Yahuwah, I change not. Malachi 3:6.
Do we pray to change Yahuwah? No! With Him is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).
Yahuwah's promises are conditional; therefore answers vary. But Yahuwah never changes. Yahushua, the
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Anointed, is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8). His invitation is, Come now, and let
us reason together (Isaiah 1:18).
D. Is it to change us?
Prayer is the greatest unused force in the universe to change what most needs to be changed- men. We pray
in order to enable us to receive Him. Prayer does not bring Yahuwah down to us, but brings us up to Him.
Read Paul's experience in Acts 9: 10-18.
Yahuwahs Willingness to Answer
4. How did Yahushua illustrate the willingness of our Heavenly Father to give us what we need when we
ask?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him? Luke 11:13.
Answer: Yahushua looked upon those who were assembled to hear His words, and earnestly desired that the
great multitude might appreciate the mercy and loving-kindness of Yahuwah. As an illustration of their need,
and of Yahuwahs willingness to give, He presents before them a hungry child asking his earthly parent for
bread. No man with a fathers heart would turn from his son who is hungry and is asking for bread. Would
they think him capable of trifling with his child, of tantalizing him by raising his expectations only to disappoint
him? Would he promise to give him good and nourishing food, and then give him a stone? And should anyone
dishonor Yahuwah by imagining that He would not respond to the appeals of His children?
Power of Prayer
5. How did Yahushua illustrate the limitless power that every believing disciple can receive in answer to
prayer?
Yahushua answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not
only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be
thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall
receive. Matthew 21:21, 22.
NOTE: From the secret place of prayer came the power that shook the world in the Great Reformation. The
Great Controversy, Page 210.
Nothing is more needed in our work than the practical results of communion with [Yahuwah]. We should show
by our daily lives that we have peace and rest in the Saviour. His peace in the heart will shine forth in the
countenance. It will give to the voice a persuasive power. Communion with [Yahuwah] will ennoble the
character and the life. Men will take knowledge of us, as of the first disciples, that we have been with
[Yahushua]. This will impart to the worker a power that nothing else can give. Of this power he must not allow
himself to be deprived. The Ministry of Healing, Page 512.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

6. What is our part in getting our prayers answered?
Answer: Before you go one step further, read the story of the Pharisee and the publican in the Temple (Luke
18:10-14). This will help you to see that sincerity of purpose means much with Yahuwah. Now go and note
carefully these eight points:
A. Recognize your need of Yahuwah.
I will pour water upon him that is thirsty. Isaiah 44:3.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.
We must recognize our need. That's what the publican did and what the Pharisee did not do. A French
nobleman said, Yahuwah would think twice before damning a person of my quality. Such conceit short-circuits
prayer.
B. Recognize Yahuwah as your indispensable helper.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for
without Me ye can do nothing. John 15:5.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights. James 1:17.
As a man sentenced to death by the highest court looks to the governor as his only hope, so should we in all
things look to Yahuwah. It is only at the altar of Yahuwah that we can kindle our tapers with divine fire (Isaiah
50: 10-11).
C. Pray in faith.
lf any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Yahuwah, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it
shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering James 1:5-6. See (verses 7-8).
To pray without faith is like plugging up a water pipe and then opening up the faucet. Nothing happens. Prayer
without faith is like a key with no hand to turn it in the lock. Ask in faith (Hebrews 11:6).
D. Confess and forsake all your sins.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Proverbs 28:13.
If I regard iniquity in my heart, Yahuwah will not hear me Psalm 66:18. See (Proverbs 28:9).
Confess and forsake. We must not wait for feeling. We must act. Be specific with Yahuwah. Israel found peace
only when they said, We have added unto all our sins this evil. to ask us a king (1 Samuel 12: 19).
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). We must forsake sin, ( which is lawlessness. Obedience must be
the rule of our lives. It is the fruit of true faith. Faith without works is dead (James 2:20).
E. Pray according to Yahuwah's will.
He went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, 0 my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass
from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt Matthew 26:39. See (verse 42).
We know not what we should pray for as we ought (Romans 8:26).
If it was fitting for Yahushua to pray, Thy will be done, how much more appropriate for us. No wise parent will
give a child everything he asks for. The answer sometimes is No; sometimes it is a substitute, as a rubber ball
instead of scissors. And sometimes the answer may be, Not now; this is a postponement. Thus we must trust
Yahuwah.
F. Persevere with Yahuwah.
Read Luke 18:1-8 -the story of the importunate widow.
So many times we rush through the circle of prayer and scarcely remember what we prayed for. Perseverance
in prayer is not so much urging our wills upon Yahuwah as it is being instant in prayer- keeping an attitude of
prayer. Yet it does mean earnestness, as in the case of Elijah's praying for rain and sending his servant seven
times to the hilltop to look for signs of rain.
G. Pray in Yahushua's name.
Whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14: 13.
To pray in the name of Yahushua is to pray in the mind and spirit of Yahushua while we believe His promises,
rely upon His grace, and work His works.
H. Listen as well as talk.
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and
what I shall answer when I am reproved. Habakkuk 2:1.
Some preacher has said, The prayer room is not so much the oratory room as the observatory room. Waiting
for Yahuwah to speak in prayer sometimes provides the only answer we need to our petitions.
Conditions for Answers
7. Why are some prayers not answered?
Answer: In order to have our prayers answered, we should remove all the obstacles that block the prayer
channel. Think of these four things:
www.WorldsLastChance.com

A. We must forgive others.
If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses Matthew 6:14-15 See (Matthew 18:21-35).
B. We must pray for others.
Yahuwah turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends Job 42:10. (See Matthew 5:44.)
A man whose prayer is always, 0 Lord bless me, can never become like Yahuwah in character. We must have
not only the inward look, but the outlook. John Knox prayed, [Yahuwah], give me Scotland or I die. He prayed
for his enemies.
If we do not pray for those who despitefully use us, we shall surely despise them. Sincere prayer for them is
essential for our own sakes.
C. We must confess our faults one to another.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed James 5:16. See
(Matthew 5:23-24).
We must confess faults to others we have injured. This is simple decency. If you break a man's leg, do your
best to fix it. If you break his heart, you are the only human being who can help patch it up. Do this now with
kindness and words of sincerity.
D. We must restore anything taken by fraud or robbery.
If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without
committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die Ezekiel 33:15. See (the example of Zacchaeus, in Luke
19:1-9).
8. In what manner does James say Yahuwah will answer the prayer of faith?
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Yahuwah, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it
shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:5, 6.
NOTE: The *Creator+ whom we serve is no respecter of persons. He who gave to Solomon the spirit of wise
discernment is willing to impart the same blessing to His children today. If any of you lack wisdom, His word
declares, let him ask of [Yahuwah], that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given
him. James 1:5. When a burden bearer desires wisdom more than he desires wealth, power, or fame, he will
not be disappointed. Such a one will learn from the Great Teacher not only what to do, but how to do it in a
way that will meet with the divine approval. Prophets and Kings page 31.
9. With what power did Jacob prevail at the Brook Jabbok?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw
that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out
of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee
go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name
shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with Elohim and with men, and hast
prevailed. Genesis 32:2428.
Answer: With power of faith. Importunate prayer.
NOTE: Jacob prevailed because he was persevering and determined. His victory is an evidence of the power of
importunate prayer. All who will lay hold of [Yahuwah's] promises, as he did, and be as earnest and
persevering as he was, will succeed as he succeeded. The Great Controversy, Page 621.
It was through faith and prayer that Jacob, from being a man of feebleness and sin, became a prince with
[Yahuwah]. It is thus that you may become men and women of high and holy purpose, of noble life, men and
women who will not for any consideration be swayed from truth, right, and justice. The Ministry of Healing,
Page 511.
10. What does John say is necessary if we are going to experience the power of prevailing prayer?
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that
are pleasing in his sight. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to
his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the
petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 3:22; 5:14, 15.
NOTE: Those who decide to do nothing in any line that will displease [Yahuwah], will know, after presenting
their case before Him, just what course to pursue. And they will receive not only wisdom, but strength. Power
for obedience, for service, will be imparted to them, as [Yahushua] has promised. Whatever was given to
[Yahushua]the all things to supply the need of fallen menwas given to Him as the head and
representative of humanity. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His
commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 John 3:22. The Desire of Ages, Page 668.
Praise in Prayer
11. What does Paul say will always be connected with true prayer?
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be
made known unto Yahuwah. Philippians 4:6.
NOTE: Our devotional exercises should not consist wholly in asking and receiving. Let us not be always
thinking of our wants and never of the benefits we receive. We do not pray any too much, but we are too
sparing of giving thanks. We are the constant recipients of [Yahuwah's] mercies, and yet how little gratitude
we express, how little we praise Him for what He has done for us. Steps to Christ, page 102, 103.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

The soul may ascend nearer heaven on the wings of praise. [Yahuwah] is worshiped with song and music in
the courts above, and as we express our gratitude we are approximating to the worship of the heavenly hosts.
Ibid., Page 104.
12. When Paul and Silas mingled praise with their prayers, what happened?
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto Yahuwah: and the prisoners heard them. And
suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately
all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Acts 16:25, 26.
Answer: In the prison at Philippi, while suffering from the cruel stripes they had received, their feet fast in the
stocks, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praise to Yahuwah; and angels were sent from heaven to deliver them.
The earth shook under the tread of these heavenly messengers, and the prison doors flew open, setting the
prisoners free.
Private and Public
13. What counsel has Yahushua given to His disciples in regard to their personal prayer life?
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father
which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:6.
NOTE: Have a place for secret prayer. Yahushua had select places for communion with Yahuwah, and so
should we. We need often to retire to some spot, however humble, where we can be alone with Yahuwah. In
the secret place of prayer, where no eye but Yahuwahs can see, no ear but His can hear, we may pour out our
most hidden desires and longings to the Father of infinite pity, and in the hush and silence of the soul that
voice which never fails to answer the cry of human need will speak to our hearts.
14. What other kind of prayer does Yahushua endorse with the promise of His presence?
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall
be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:19, 20.
NOTE: We should not come together to remain silent; those only are remembered of Yahuwah who assemble
to speak of His honor and glory and tell of His power; upon such the blessing of Yahuwah will rest, and they
will be refreshed. If all moved as they should, no precious time would run to waste, and no reproofs would be
needed for long prayers and exhortations; all the time would be occupied by short, pointed testimonies and
prayers. Ask, believe, and receive. There is too much mocking Yahuwah, too much praying that is no praying
and that wearies angels and displeases Yahuwah, too many vain, unmeaning petitions.
Posture in Prayer
15. What example has Daniel and Paul left us in regard to the physical attitude of prayer?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in
his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks
before his Eloah, as he did aforetime. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with
them all. Daniel 6:10; Acts 20:36.
Please take time to read [Luke 22:41; Acts 9:40; 7:59, 60; 21:5; Ezra 9:5, 6; 2 Chronicles. 6:1-13; Ephesians
3:14.]
NOTE: Both in public and private worship it is our duty to bow down upon our knees before Yahuwah when
we offer our petitions to Him. This act shows our dependence upon Yahuwah. . . Is it possible that with all the
light that Yahuwah has given to His people on the subject of reverence, that ministers, principals, and teachers
in our schools, by precept and example teach young men to stand erect in devotion as did the Pharisees? Shall
we look upon this as significant of their self-sufficiency and self-importance? Are these traits to become
conspicuous?
Cultivate the habit of talking with the Saviour when you are alone, when you are walking, and when you are
busy with your daily labor. Let the heart be continually uplifted in silent petition for help, for light, for
strength, for knowledge. The Ministry of Healing, Page 510, 511.
16. In what manner has Yahuwah declared He would have us approach Him in prayer during public worship?
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before Yahuwah our maker. Psalm 95:6.
NOTE: We hope that our brethren will not manifest less reverence and awe as they approach the only true
and living Eloah than the heathen manifest for their idol deities, or these people will be our judges in the day
of final decision.Men and women, do not dishonor Yahuwah by your irreverence and pomposity. Do not
stand up in your Phariseeism and offer your prayers to Yahuwah. And when you assemble to worship
Yahuwah, be sure and bow your knees before Him. Let this act testify that the whole soul, body, and spirit are
in subjection to the Spirit of truth.
And when you assemble to worship Yahuwah, be sure and bow your knees before Him. Let this act testify that
the whole soul, body, and spirit are in subjection to the Spirit of truth. Who have searched the Word closely
for examples and direction in this respect? . . .
Man must come on bended knee, as a subject of grace, a suppliant at the footstool of mercy. And as he
receives daily mercies at the hand of Yahuwah, he is ever to cherish gratitude in his heart, and give expression
to it in the words of thanksgiving and praise for these unmerited favors.
The prayer offered by Solomon during the dedication of the temple, was not made while he stood upon his
feet. The king knelt in the humble position of a petitioner.
Herein is a lesson for Yahuwah's people today. Our spiritual strength and our influence are not increased by
conformity to a worldly attitude during prayer. . . . Let man come on bended knee, as a subject of grace, a
suppliant at the footstool of mercy. Thus he is to testify that the whole soul, body, and spirit are in subjection
to his Creator.

17. Why are we especially admonished to pray now?
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer
than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of
darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Romans 13:11, 12.
Answer: We are in the last days, dear friend, and Yahushua is coming soon. Said Peter: The end of all things is
at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1 Peter 4:7.
If we are to stand in the time of trouble that is just ahead, we must get the daily prayer habit, and pray always.
Morning, noon, and night we should lift our souls to Yahuwah. Yahushua said: Take heed to yourselves, lest at
any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day
come upon you unawares . . Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye, may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:34, 36.
Our heavenly Father waits to bestow upon us the fullness of His blessing. It is our privilege to drink largely at
the fountain of boundless love. What a wonder it is that we pray so little! [Yahuwah] is ready and willing to
hear the sincere prayer of the humblest of His children, and yet there is much manifest reluctance on our part
to make known our wants to [Yahuwah]. What can the angels of heaven think of poor helpless human beings,
who are subject to temptation, when [Yahuwah's] heart of infinite love yearns toward them, ready to give
them more than they can ask or think, and yet they pray so little and have so little faith? The angels love to
bow before [Yahuwah]; they love to be near Him. They regard communion with [Yahuwah] as their highest
joy; and yet the children of earth, who need so much the help that [Yahuwah] only can give, seem satisfied to
walk without the light of His Spirit, the companionship of His presence. Steps to Christ, page 94.
Will you commit yourself to become better acquainted with Yahushua by setting apart some time every
morning to talk with Him in personal, private prayer?

Bible Study Lessons (part #1)
4. How Many Deities Are In Heaven? A Biblical Look at the Trinity
Go to Part #1 Lessons Index Go To Quiz (offline/online)
The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
What set the children of Yahuwah apart from surrounding pagan nations was their belief in only one Deity. The heathen
countries believed in many deities.
The Jews held that there was only one . . . *deity+, and the Christian faith comes out of that thinking.
However, as the Jewish believers went out to the Gentiles with the gospel message they had to deal with the
monotheism [one deity] of the Jewish-Christian belief verses [sic] the polytheism [many deities] of the
Gentiles. The problem arose when trying to explain who Yahushua and the Holy Spirit are. The Trinity doctrine
was the result of trying to solve this problem. (Gary Strong, A Close Look at The Trinity, p. 84)
The language of the Bible should be explained according to its obvious meaning. The Great Controversy,
page 598.
To support the false 'Trinity' doctrine, there are false uninspired words added to 1 JOHN 5 :7-8 (King James
Version).
False Scripture Added
A small passage in the Authorized King James Version of the Bible is generally used by Trinity adherents to
support the Trinity doctrine. This passage is found in I John 5:7-8, and is bracketed in the following quotation:
For there are three that bear record ,IN HEAVEN, THE FATHER, THE WORD AND THE HOLY GHOST: AND
THESE THREE ARE ONE. AND THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR WITNESS IN EARTH}, the Spirit, and the water, and
the blood: and these three agree in one. The bracketed words were added by editors to the Latin Vulgate
translation probably in the early fourth century. They do not appear in any of the older Greek manuscripts nor
in other modern English translations. They were added to the Latin Vulgate during the heat of the controversy
between Rome and Dr. Arius (Irasmus) and Yahuwahs people.
Bible commentaries explain that these words were never written in the apostle Johns manuscript or any
existing early copies of it. The apostle John in his three epistles and the Revelation speaks of the Father, and .
. . Son (I John 1:3), but never of the Father and the Word, except in this uninspired part of I John 5:7-8. Click
here to watch a short video on the added text in 1 John 5:7-8.
There was a real reason why the archdeceiver Satan wanted that spurious verse added in the Latin Vulgate
from which it crept into the Authorized Version. The Trinity doctrine completely does away with the gospel of
Yahushua. His gospel is the message he brought mankind from Yahuwah the Father, the good news of the
coming kingdom of Yahuwah! That is the one thing above all Satan wants to defeat.

Colossians 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:2.
3. Is the one Deity, our Father, the father of Yahushua as well?
"Blessed be the Eloah and Father of our Master, Yahushua, the Anointed, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in the Anointed." Ephesians 1:3.
"I ascend unto my Father, and your Father." John 20:17.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"One Eloah and Father of all." Ephesians 4:6.
Conclusion: The Bible teaches that there is but one Deity, who is the Father of all.

Yahushua

4. Who is Yahushua?
"And we believe and are sure that thou art that Anointed, the Son of the living Eloah." John 6:69.
NOTE: He is also the only mediator and intercessor between His father Yahuwah and men.
"For there is one Eloah and one Mediator between Eloah and men, the Man, Yahushua the Anointed." I
Timothy 2:5
"Who is he who condemns? It is the Anointed [Yahushua] who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even
at the right hand of Yahuwah, who also makes intercession for us." Romans 8:34
"Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to Yahuwah through Him since He always
lives to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25
5. Is the Son of living Eloah a mere title given to Yahushua or is He in reality the very son of the Father?
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given." Isaiah 9:6.
"Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound
the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his
son's name, if thou canst tell?" Proverbs 30:4.
6. If Yahushua is a real son of Yahuwah, has the Bible confirmed a beginning to His existence?
"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he
come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."
Micah 5:2.
And the Son of [Eloah] declares concerning Himself: '[Yahuwah] possessed Me in the beginning of His way,
before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting. . .When He appointed the foundations of the earth:
then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.'
Proverbs 8:22-30." Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 34
7. Does the New Testament confirm the Old Testament regarding the true and literal sonship of Yahushua?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14.
"No man hath seen Yahuwah at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath
declared him." John 1:18.
"For Yahuwah so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of Yahuwah." John 3:18.
"In this was manifested the love of Yahuwah toward us, because that Yahuwah sent his only begotten Son into
the world, that we might live through him." 1 John 4:9.
Conclusion: The One Eloah at one point from everlasting begat Yahushua, His only begotten son. And if what
Yahuwah gave was not His real and only begotten, then Abrahams test would not have been a meaningful
type.

The Only-Begotten Son

8. What did the one Eloah, the Father of all, pass unto His only begotten?
"For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself." John 5:26.
"The brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person." Hebrews 1:3.
9. What does it mean that Yahuwah passed His glory to His only begotten Son?
"And he said, I beseech thee, show me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass." Exodus 33:18,
19.
"It pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell." Colossians 1:19.
10. Did the one Eloah pass on His name to His only begotten Son?
"For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I
will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O Elohim, is for
ever and ever." Hebrews 1:5, 8.
11. What else was passed by the Father unto His only begotten?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahuwah dwell in you. Now if any man
have not the Spirit of the Anointed, he is none of his." Romans 8:9.
Conclusion: Yahuwah passed unto His only begotten Son, unconditional life in Himself. As the baby becomes
independent of the mother once he is born, Yahushua became self-existent once He was begotten of the
Father. Self-existence was inherent in His birth. In addition to self-existence, the Son received from His Father
His very character [goodness], and thus His express image. There was nothing that the Father had which was
not passed unto the His only begotten Son. Even the very Spirit of Yahuwah, the Holy Spirit, is shared by His
Son. Yahushua naturally inherited the name of His Father, Yahuwah. Yahushua was not, however, co-existent
with His Father, being the Son.

Relationship Between Father And Son

12. What did Yahushua say about His relationship to His Father?
"If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." John
14:28.
"The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do." John 5:19.
"I can of mine own self do nothingbecause I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath
sent me." John 5:30.
13. How did Yahushua regard His Father?
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Eloah." John 17:3.
"Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend
unto my Father, and your Father; and to my Eloah, and your Eloah." John 20:17.
" I and my Father are one." John 10:30.
Who, being in the form of Eloah, thought it not robbery to be equal with Yahuwah." Philippians 2:6.
14. In what manner was Yahushua one with the Father?
The Anointed, the Word, the only begotten of [Yahuwah], was one with the eternal Father--one in nature, in
character, in purpose--the only being that could enter into all the counsels and purposes of [Yahuwah].
Patriarchs and Prophets, page 34.
Conclusion: Yahushua was one with the Father in nature, character, and purpose. But did not regard Himself
as an equal to His Father. Yahuwah invested in Yahushua every authority and made Him equal.

Submission of Son to Father

15. How does the Bible demonstrate the submission of Son to His Father, the one Eloah?
"And ye are Anointed's; and Anointed is Yahuwah's." 1 Corinthians 3:23.
"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is the Anointed; and the head of the woman [is] the
man; and the head of the Anointed is Yahuwah." 1 Corinthians 11:2.
"That the Eloah of our Master, Yahushua, the Anointed, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him." Ephesians 1:17.
"One Master, one faith, one baptism, One Eloah and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you
all." Ephesians 4:5, 6.
"For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that
he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall
the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that Yahuwah may be all in all." 1
Corinthians 15:27, 28.
Conclusion: The one Eloah, the Father, has made His son His equal in nature, character, and purpose; His full
and only co-partner. This reality does not negate, however, the submission of the Son to His Father, who is the
one Eloah, who rules over all including the Son.
16. Does the Biblical fact of Yahushuas submission to His Father affect our worship of the Son?
"That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son
honoureth not the Father which hath sent him." John 5:23.
Conclusion: Our worship of the Son is not affected one iota by His submission to His Father. We willingly and
happily worship Yahushua, for in Him dwells the fullness of His Father, the one Eloah. We also worship the Son
for He is our Saviour, Redeemer, and Advocate before His and our Father. Lastly, we worship Him because He
is the only begotten Son of the one Eloah.

Holy Spirit

17. Who is the Holy Spirit?
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Yahuwah dwell in you. Now if any man
have not the Spirit of Yahushua, he is none of his." Romans 8:9.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"And because ye are sons, Yahuwah hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba,
Father." Galatians 4:6.
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even
the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye
know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
John 14:16-18.
Conclusion: The Holy Spirit is none other than the very Spirit of Yahushua which proceeded from the Father,
the one Eloah, "of whom [are] all things." 1 Corinthians 8:6.

Taking It Further

There are several conflicting beliefs about the nature of Yahuwah. This stems from the fact that these beliefs
were born from various traditions and customs. This study clings to what the plain and beautiful truths of the
Bible reveal.
What is the Trinity?
1. One eloah made up of three persons.
2. Three eloahs made up of one person.
3. One eloah acting as Father, other times as Son, and other times as Holy Ghost.
4. Three separate eloahs all of who are called one Eloah in the Bible because they are in agreement in everything.
All of these beliefs are sometimes referred to as the Trinity, or the Triune Eloah. These ideas have been around
for hundreds of years, yet they are not true!
1. Does the Bible teach that Yahuwah consists of three beings or is a Trinity?
No, the Bible teaches contrary to this idea. The Bible speaks of Yahuwah and of His Son, Yahushua, and of
Yahuwahs Spirit, which is Yahuwah's invisible holy presence.
Please refer to the introduction of this study which explains the false uninspired words added to 1 JOHN 5: 7-8
(King James Version) to support the false 'Trinity' doctrine.
2. Who is Yahuwah?
But to us there is but one Eloah, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Master,
Yahushua, the Anointed, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Corinthians 8:6.
The head of the Anointed is Yahuwah 1 Corinthians 11:3.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Eloah, and Yahushua, the Anointed, whom
thou hast sent. John 17:3. One Eloah and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:6.
Answer: Yes. Yahuwah is the Father. It is He who is the greatest Being in the universe. (See Mark 12:29-34.)
NOTE: This is an extremely important question because Yahushua, the Son of Yahuwah, told us that those who
worship Yahuwah should worship Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24). If we do not worship Yahuwah in truth
can we be saved? The Scripture says that those who believe a lie will be damned. (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.)
O that everyone would realize the great love, the self-sacrifice, the benevolence, and the kindness of our
heavenly Father, in giving his Son to die for us that we might, if we believe and do his commandments, have a
sweet peace, the Father's joy, the Father's love, and unite with him, heart, soul, mind, and strength, to
maintain righteousness and to draw in even lines with Yahushua. It is not the sacrifice of Yahushua only; it is
the Father's sacrifice also. The Father, in union and loving sympathy, with his Son, subjected himself to suffer
with his Son. He spared not his only begotten Son but freely delivered him up for us all. This gift of Yahushua is
the crowning truth of Yahuwah's love, and this Fatherhood, through all time and through eternity. Here is the
love of Yahuwah in his Fatherhood. Let us drink in this love, that we may know by experience what a real,
tender, joyful, experience there is in a realization of the Fatherhood of Yahuwah.
3. Who is Yahushua?
Whosoever shall confess that Yahushua is the Son of Yahuwah, Yahuwah dwelleth in him, and he in
Yahuwah. 1 John 4:15.
And we believe and are sure that thou art that Anointed One, the Son of the living Eloah. John 6: 69.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. Isaiah 9:6.
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound
the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what [is] his name, and what is his
son's name, if thou canst tell? Proverbs 30:4.
Answer: Yahushua is the Son of Yahuwah.
NOTE: The Sovereign of the universe was not alone in His work of beneficence. He had an associate--a co-
worker who could appreciate His purposes, and could share His joy in giving happiness to created beings. 'In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. The same was in the
beginning with Yahuwah.' John 1:1, 2. Yahushua, the Word, the only begotten of Son of the heavenly Father.

The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
At Yahushua's incarnation, sin had become a science. Rebellion had struck its roots deep into the heart of man. It was
demonstrated before the universe that, apart from Yahuwah, humanity could not be uplifted. A new element of life and
power must be imparted by Him who made the world.
"With intense interest the unfallen worlds had watched to see [Yahuwah] arise, and sweep away the
inhabitants of the earth. And if [Yahuwah] should do this, Satan was ready to carry out his plan for securing to
himself the allegiance of heavenly beings. He had declared that the principles of [Yahuwah's] government
make forgiveness impossible. Had the world been destroyed, he would have claimed that his accusations were
proved true. He was ready to cast blame upon [Yahuwah], and to spread his rebellion to the worlds above. But
instead of destroying the world, [Yahuwah] sent His Son to save it. Though corruption and defiance might be
seen in every part of the alien province, a way for its recovery was provided. At the very crisis, when Satan
seemed about to triumph, the Son of [Yahuwah] came with the embassage of divine grace. Through every age,
through every hour, the love of [Yahuwah] had been exercised toward the fallen race. Notwithstanding the
perversity of men, the signals of mercy had been continually exhibited. And when the fullness of the time had
come, the Deity was glorified by pouring upon the world a flood of healing grace that was never to be
obstructed or withdrawn till the plan of salvation should be fulfilled." The Desire of Ages, page 37.
Yahuwah's Eternal Gift
1. How does Yahuwah feel toward mankind separated from Him through sin?
I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3.
Answer: We are to regard . . . [Yahushua] as having loved us personally and individually. Let us consider how
much pains . . . [Yahuwah] has taken to make us feel that He cares for us personally. It is so in His providence,
and so also in His gospel. He would fain make us single ourselves from the mass and feel that His loving eye
and heart are upon us individually. Charies G. Finney, Sermons on Gospel Themes, pages 307, 308.
2. What evidence is there for us to see that Yahuwah really loves us?
"For Yahuwah so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
"In this was manifested the love of Yahuwah toward us, because that Yahuwah sent His only begotten Son into
the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved Yahuwah, but that He loved us,
and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:9, 10.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Answer: Because He loved us so much that He was willing to see His only begotten Son suffer and die rather
than be separated from you and me for eternity. We will not be able to understand it, but He did it--just for
you!
3. Was Yahushua the Son of Yahuwah?
Yahuwah testified. "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:17
Yahushua . . asked His disciples, "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that
Thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But
whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Anointed One, the Son of the living
Eloah." Matthew 16:13-16.
Answer: Yes.
The testimony of the prophets; Yahushua' power to heal the sick and raise the dead; His peerless teaching; His
own resurrection; The testimony of His friends; The admission of His enemies; lives transformed by His power,
all testify that Yahushua is the Son of Yahuwah.
YahushuaThe Son Of Yahuwah
4. What was the relationship of Yahushua to Yahuwah, the Father?
"Yahushua, the Anointed, is the Son of Yahuwah." Mark 1:1.
5. Did Yahushua exist before He was born in Bethlehem?
"Now, O Father, glorify thou Me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before the world
was." John 17:5.
"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He
come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."
Micah 5:2.
Answer: Yes. Before anything existed, Yahushua came forth from Yahuwah, as His only begotten Son!
6. In what respect was the birth of Yahushua supernatural?
"Therefore the Sovereign Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall
call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
"Now the birth of Yahushua, the Anointed, was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to
Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. . Now all this was done, that it
might be fulfilled which was spoken of Yahuwah by the prophet, saying Behold, a Virgin shall be with child,
and shall bring forth a son." Matthew 1:18, 22-23.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Answer: You see, the Scriptures teach that Yahushua was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born in the flesh,
of a virgin. This is known as the incarnation. Yahushua was not a new being, but He appeared in human form.
"The Word was made flesh." John 1:14. "Who being in the form of Eloah thought it not robbery to be equal
with Yahuwah; but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in
the likeness of men." Philippians 2:6-7. "They shall call His name Emmanuel. . . Eloah with us." Matthew 1:23.
Our Saviour
7. What was Yahushua's purpose in coming into the world?
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name YAHUSHUA: for he shall save his people from
their sins. Matthew 1:21. "To call ... sinners to repentance." Matthew 9: 13.
8. Did Yahushua leave us an example to follow in His struggle with temptation?
"The Anointed also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps: who did no sin,
neither was guile found in His mouth." 1 Peter 2:21-22.
I have kept My Father's commandments." John 15:10.
"[Yahushua] was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. " Hebrews 4:15.
"Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered." Hebrews 5:8.
"What the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Yahuwah sending His own Son in the
likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be
fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:3-4
So the Son of Yahuwah overcame in the flesh, demonstrating that Yahuwah's law can be kept, and He is ready
to dwell in us by His Spirit and fulfill His will in us. As we yield to the Spirit, we receive power to obey Yahuwah.
Answer: Yes, the Scriptures declare that Yahushua overcame temptation and lived a sinless life, and because
the Son of Yahuwah lived a sinless life in the flesh, He accomplished five things:
A. He demonstrated that, by the indwelling power of Yahuwah, the law of Yahuwah could be kept by
converted man;
B. His righteous life in the flesh is now available to cover man's past sins;
C. He is able to sympathize with man in his struggle against sin;
D. He has successfully revealed Yahuwah to man;
E. He is in a position to impart overcoming power to all who are tempted.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Power To Save
9. How fully can Yahushua save men from sin?
"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto Yahuwah by him, seeing he ever
liveth to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25.
"I can do all things through the Anointed which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13.
Answer: He is in a position to impart overcoming power to all who are tempted to sinning.
10. What does the Bible say will take away sin?
"The blood of Yahushua, the Anointed, his Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7.
Answer: The Scripture also affirms that it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away
sins. Hebrews 10:4.
11. Was it necessary for Yahushua to die in His own behalf?
No, Pilate, after carefully examining Him, declared, "I have found no cause of death in him." Luke 23:22. He
had no sin, and therefore was under no condemnation.
Deep Sympathy For Us
12. For what reason, then, did He die?
"But we see Yahushua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with
glory and honour; that he by the grace of Yahuwah should taste death for every man." Hebrews 2:9.
Answer: It was for sinful, fallen humanity that He died.
13. What sentence had been pronounced upon the human family?
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men,
for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12.
"Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every
mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before Yahuwah." Romans 3:19.
14. How could the death of Yahushua help to free man from his sins?
"Yahuwah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:6.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of
Yahuwah in him." 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Answer: He took the sinner's place and assumed the guilt as if it were His own.
15. When Yahushua died, therefore, for whose sins did He die?
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace
was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5.
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that the Anointed died for our sins
according to the scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15:3.
16. What did the death of Yahushua achieve for us?
"Yahuwah commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, the Anointed One died for us."
Romans 5:8.
"He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of It; for this is My blood of the
new testament, which is shed for many for the remission [forgiveness] of sins." Matthew 26:27-28.
Answer: When a sinner accepts Yahushua as his Saviour, Yahuwah counts the death of Yahushua as
punishment for his sins. The sinner is forgiven and goes free. He is "redeemed" from death through the
sacrifice of Yahushua. You see, since the holy law of Yahuwah is as sacred as Yahuwah Himself, only one equal
with Yahuwah could make atonement for its transgression. That someone was Yahushua, wonderful
Yahushua. The human mind may never fully fathom the science, philosophy, or theology of the atonement,
but we can accept it; and all who will accept the sacrifice of Calvary will have the joy of a changed heart.
"[Yahushua] was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves. . He suffered the death
which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His. 'With His stripes we are healed.' By His life and
His death, [Yahushua] has achieved even more than
recovery from the ruin wrought through sin. It was
Satan's purpose to bring about an eternal separation
between [Yahuwah] and man; but in [Yahushua] we
become more closely united to [Yahuwah] than if we
had never fallen. In taking our nature, the Saviour has
bound Himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be
broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us."
The Desire of Ages page 25.
Our Mediator And High Priest
17. Is the resurrection of Yahushua important to us?
"I am the first and the last: I am He that liveth, and was
www.WorldsLastChance.com

dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." Revelation 1:17-18.
"If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to Yahuwah by the death of His Son, much more, being
reconciled, we shall be saved by His life." Romans 5:10 (See 1 John 5:12).
Paul goes so far as to say: "If the Anointed One be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then
they also which are fallen asleep in the Anointed One are perished." 1 Corinthians 15:17-18.
Answer: The Scriptures teach that Yahushua rose a victor over death, to save us by His life and to assure us of
our resurrection from the grave. Moreover, the resurrection of Yahushua from the dead is a doctrine that
distinguishes the followers of Yahuwah from all other world religions. Buddha, Confucius, Mohammed, and
the founders of other religious movements are dead. Yahushua alone points to an empty tomb as evidence of
divine power and of conquest over death. No fact connected with the life of Yahushua is so firmly supported
as the fact of the resurrection. The resurrected Yahushua is a living Saviour. It is only the power of the living
Saviour, the power of the resurrection that can change the life of man and save him. Paul sought to know the
power of His resurrection as a daily experience, that he might at last be raised in the resurrection of the dead
(Philippians 3:10-11). The resurrection of Yahushua is thus a sample and pledge of ours. "The Anointed One,
the first fruits; afterward they that are the Anointed One's at His coming." 1 Corinthians 15:23.
18. Where is Yahushua now and what is He doing?
"While they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked
stedfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye
men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Yahushua, which is taken up from you into
heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven." Acts 1:9-11.
And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. And they
worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. Luke 24:51-52.
Answer: According to the Bible, Yahushua ascended to heaven and is now mediating in our behalf. Forty days
after the resurrection Yahushua ascended to heaven and His disciples were left behind.
A. Yahushua ascended to heaven, to become our mediator and high priest. "There is one Eloah, and one
mediator between Yahuwah and men, the man, the Anointed Yahushua" 1 Timothy 2:5. See Hebrews 8:1;
7:25.
B. We need a representative in heaven who understands our problems. Yahushua does. "For we have not an
high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities." Hebrews 4:15.
C. He was "made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful. . high priest." Hebrews 2:17. We may
come in reverent boldness to the throne of mercy, grace, and power Hebrews 4:16.
19. Will Yahushua come again?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for
you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am,
there ye may be also." John 14:2-3.
The disciples were still looking earnestly toward heaven when, "behold, two men stood by them in white
apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Yahushua, which is
taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven." Acts 1:10,
11.
"So the Anointed was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear
the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28. (See Revelation 19:11-16).
Answer: Yes, the Scriptures testify that Yahushua will come again. Let us be ready to meet Him. The second
coming of Yahushua is the climax of the gospel. It is the time of reward. Without it the cross loses its meaning.
The cross is the seed sowing of Yahuwah's love, the second coming is the harvest time. It is the homecoming
of Yahuwah's people.
The promise of [Yahushua's] second coming was ever to be kept fresh in the minds of His disciples. The same
[Yahushua] whom they had seen ascending into heaven, would come again, to take to Himself those who here
below give themselves to His service. The same voice that had said to them, "Lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end," would bid them welcome to His presence in the heavenly kingdom. The Acts of the Apostles,
page 33.
The loving invitation of Yahushua to you is, My son, *daughter+ give me thine heart (Proverbs 23:26). Will
you give Him your heart today?

Bible Study Lessons (part #1)
6. Yahushua Is Coming Again
Go to Part #1 Lessons Index Go To Quiz (offline/online)
The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
The second coming of Yahushua is the great hope of the ekklesia, the grand climax of the gospel and plan of
salvation. Patriarchs, in the Old Testament, looked forward to it (Jude 14; Job 19:25-27); and it has also been
the blessed hope of the ekklesia in the New Testament (Titus 2: 13; Acts 3:19-21).
"So the Anointed was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear
the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28.
When Yahushua died on Golgotha, that act made possible the redemption of man from sin and from sin's
influence and results. He did not at that time actually complete His redemptive work. After His resurrection He
ascended up to heaven, leaving His followers behind in a sin-cursed world. Most of the saints of past ages
were still sleeping in their graves.
He had announced to His disciples, "I go to my Father," and to Simon Peter, "Whither I go, thou canst not
follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards." John 13:36. Lets take a few minutes to study the
second coming of Yahushua.
The Promise
1. Who was the first prophet to speak of the Second Coming of Yahushua?
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Master cometh with ten
thousands of his saints. Jude 14.
Answer: Enoch was the first prophet among mankind. He foretold by prophecy the Second Coming of
Yahushua to our world, and his work at that time. His life was a specimen of Christian consistency. Holy lips
alone should speak forth the words of Yahuwah in denunciation and judgments. The book of Enoch has been
left out of the Old Testament, but Jude, a prophet of Yahuwah, mentions the work of Enoch.
2. How did Job show his understanding of the closing events of this earths history?
Answer: For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And
though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see Eloah: Whom I shall see for myself,
and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. Job 19:2527.
The doctrine of the Second Advent is the very keynote of the Sacred Scriptures. The coming of Yahushua has
been in all ages the hope of His true followers.
3. Before Yahushua ascended to Heaven, what definite promise did He make to His disciples?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again." John 14:3.
Answer: Yahushua promised them that He would come again. "Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting
on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:64. This promise, made under
the oath, and can be depended upon - He will come again.
4. What assurance was given to the disciples as they watched Yahushua disappear into Heaven?
"This same Yahushua, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen
him go into heaven." Acts 1:11. See verses 9 and 10.
Answer: The disciples were assured that Yahushua will return to this earth in the same manner that He left at
His ascension--in a visible, literal, bodily, personal manner. He will come in the clouds literally, as a personal
being with a body of flesh and bones (Luke 24:36-43, 50, 51), and His coming will be visible. This rules out a
spiritual seeing at conversion or at death.
It was the compassionate Saviour, who, anticipating the loneliness and sorrow of his followers, commissioned
angels to comfort them with the assurance that he would come again in person, even as he went into
heaven. The Great Controversy, 1888 Edition, page 339.
5. Will His coming be secret?
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and , and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail
because of him. Even so, Amen." Revelation 1:7.
"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be." Matthew 24:27.
"Then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory" Matthew 24:30.
"Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth: behold, He is in the secret
chambers; believe it not." Matthew 24:26.
Answer: No. The Bible plainly teaches that when Yahushua comes again, every one of our senses will be
bombarded with evidence! From time to time suggestions have been made that Yahushua will appear in this
or that remote place, and temples have been built for His reception. All such hopes are vain. The reference to
the secret chamber undoubtedly has reference to the secrecy of the spiritualist seance. But Satan, not
Yahushua, will be found there.
The secret rapture so commonly believed and taught today is not in the Bible. It is a human invention. Nor is
the second coming a spiritual coming into the heart at conversion. It does not take place at a man's death, nor
is it figurative--to be manifested by better world conditions. These theories are all of human origin. The
second coming will be a literal, worldwide, visible, personal appearance of Yahushua in the clouds to bring this
world to an end and to reward or punish all.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

6. What glory will attend the person of Yahushua when He comes?
"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he
shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26.
Answer: His glory, His Fathers glory and that of the holy angels.
The effect of this glory upon the inhabitants of earth we can only faintly imagine. If, at the time of Yahushua's
resurrection, the appearance of one angel prostrated the Roman guards as dead men (Matthew 28:2-4), it is
no wonder that many will try to hide from the glory of Yahushua, praying for the rocks and mountains to fall
on them (Revelation 6:14-17) when He appears in His glory, the glory of His Father and of all the holy angels.
His Coming Will Not Be In Secret
7. Will everyone be expecting Yahushua when He comes?
"The day of the Master so cometh as a thief in the night." 1 Thessalonians 5:2.
"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Matthew 24:44.
Answer: No, in the clearest language, Yahushua taught that although His coming would be open, announced,
personal, literal, visible, and that good and bad alike would see Him come. He was to come as a "thief in the
night" only in the sense that the wicked would be taken by surprise.
8. Will everyone be taken by surprise?
"But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of
light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do
others; but let us watch and be sober." 1 Thessalonians 5: 4-6.
Answer: No, only those who closed their eyes to the signs of the times would be taken by surprise.
The Jews misinterpreted and misapplied the word of [Yahuwah], and they knew not the time of their
visitation. . . So today the kingdom of this world absorbs men's thoughts, and they take no note of the rapidly
fulfilling prophecies and the tokens of the swift-coming kingdom of *Yahuwah+. The Desire of Ages, page 235.
The watchmen upon the walls of Zion should be the first to catch the tidings of the Saviour's advent, the first
to lift their voices to proclaim him near, the first to warn the people to prepare for his coming. But they were
at ease, dreaming of peace and safety, while the people were asleep in their sins. The Great Controversy,
1884 Edition, page 200.
9. Will Yahushua's followers be expecting Him when He comes?
"Unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our Eloah; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is
Yahuwah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation." Isaiah 25:9.
Answer: Yes, they will be waiting and watching. Those who love His appearing will be ready and expecting.
We are pilgrims and strangers who are waiting, hoping, and praying for that blessed hope, the glorious
appearing of our Master and Saviour, Yahushua, the Anointed. If we believe this and bring it into our practical
life, what vigorous action would this faith and hope inspire; what fervent love one for another; what careful
holy living for the glory of Yahuwah; and in our respect for the recompense of the reward, what distinct lines
of demarcation would be evidenced between us and the world.
10. What blessing is promised to those who are ready and watching for Him?
"Blessed are those servants, whom the Master when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that
he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them." Luke 12:37.
11. What will happen to the righteous people when Yahushua comes the second time?
"For the Master himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
trumpet of Yahuwah: and the dead the Anointed shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air: and so shall we ever be with the
Master." I Thessalonians 4: 16.
"We shall all be changed, ... and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. For ... this mortal must put on
immortality." 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.
"We look for ... the Master Yahushua, the Anointed: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned
like unto his glorious body." Philippians 3:20, 21.

Answer: The righteous dead will be raised from their graves, given perfect, immortal bodies like that of
Yahushua, and caught up into the clouds to meet Yahushua. Then the righteous living will also be given bodies
like Yahushua and will be caught up to meet Him in the air. And Yahushua will take the righteous to heaven
with Him. Note that Yahushua does not touch the earth at His second coming. The saints meet Him "in the
air." So Yahuwah's people will ignore any report that Yahushua is in here or there etc. False Christs will appear
and do miracles on the earth (Matthew 24:23-27), but Yahushua will remain in the clouds above the earth at
His second coming.
12. What will happen to the wicked at Yahushua's coming?
"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Master Yahushua shall be revealed from heaven with his
mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Yahuwah, and that obey not the gospel
of our Master Yahushua, the Anointed: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence
of the Master, and from the glory of his power." 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.
With the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked." Isaiah 11:4.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

"And the slain of Yahuwah shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth:
they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground." Jeremiah
25:33.
Answer: The wicked will be slain by Yahushua.
"When the divine Presence was manifested upon Sinai, the glory of [Yahuwah] was like devouring fire in the
sight of all Israel. But when [Yahushua] shall come in glory with His holy angels the whole earth shall be ablaze
with the terrible light of His presence. 'Our Eloah shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour
before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about Him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to
the earth, that He may judge His people.' Psalm 50:3, 4. A fiery stream shall issue and come forth from before
Him, which shall cause the elements to melt with fervent heat, the earth also, and the works that are therein
shall be burned up. 'The [Master Yahushua] shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming
fire taking vengeance on them that know not Yahuwah, and that obey not the gospel." 2 Thessalonians 1:7,
8.'"Patriarchs and Prophets, page 339.
13. In view of all this, what are we all exhorted to do?
"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness,
and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that
dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy
to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Luke 21: 34-36.
The Time Of Yahushuas Coming
14. Has the exact time of Yahushuas coming been revealed?
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Matt. 24:36.
Answer: No, the Bible does not tell us exactly when Yahushua will come again, but it does tell us many of the
events that will transpire just before Yahushua returns. Here are a few:
Wars and rumours of wars. (Matthew 24:6)
Famines, diseases and earthquakes in many different places. (Matthew 24:7)
Yahuwahs people will be persecuted, killed, and hated by every nation in the world. (Matthew 24:9)
The mark of the beast crisis will be fully engaged to persecute Yahuwahs people. (Revelation 3:15-18)
A system will be set up where only those who receive the mark of the beast will be allowed to buy and
sell. (Revelation 13:17)
Many false prophets and preachers will be in the world doing great signs and wonders and will deceive
many people. (Matthew 24:11, 24)
Sin will be very abundant throughout the world, and love will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)
The good news about Yahuwahs love will be preached in all the world. (Matthew 24:14)
False Christs will appear throughout the world with great signs and wonders. The second coming of
Yahushua will be so successfully impersonated that many people will be deceived into thinking that
Yahushua has returned, even though it is Satan himself or one of His agents. (Matthew 24:23-26)
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Yahushua will come in the clouds of heaven with great power and glory. (Matthew 24:30)
All the people who have openly rejected Yahushua, or who have been deceived by Satan, will cry for
the rocks and mountains to fall on them to hide them from the presence of Yahushua. (Revelation
6:15, 16)
When Yahushua comes, Yahuwahs faithful people will say, Lo, this is our Eloah; we have waited for
him, and he will save us. (Isaiah 25:9)
MOST IMPORTANT SIGN: We are living under the last pope - Francis I. This understanding is taken from the
prophecy in Revelation chapter 17.
Yahushua will soon come in glory for all to see. Will you give Him the crown, throne, and scepter of your life
today?

Bible Study Lessons (part #1)
7. Signs That His Coming Is Near
Go to Part #1 Lessons Index Go To Quiz (offline/online)
The King James Version (KJV) is mostly used in these lessons. Click here to access the KJV online.
Introduction: After Yahushua had assured His disciples that He would come again, they came to Him with the
earnest inquiry : "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end
of the world?" Matthew 24: 3.
Yahushua's answer to this question was positive and clear. As recorded by Luke, He declared, "There shall be
signs." (Luke 21:25). This was an encouraging assurance. Yahushua's people would not be left in darkness
concerning this crowning event in the work of redemption. In this lesson, we will study only those things that
are a primary application to the second coming of Yahushua.
Signs in the Earth
1. How may we know when we have reached the very last days of earth's history? Does the Bible clearly
describe the world and its people in the last generation?
Answer: Yes, indeed it does. Look at the following specific signs of the last days. You will be amazed. And
these are just a few of many, many positive signs that show we are in the closing days of earth's history.
1. Deception through false Christs and false prophets (Matthew 24:4-5, 11-13)
2. Wars and rumours of wars. (Matthew 24:6)
3. Famines, diseases and earthquakes in many different places. (Matthew 24:7)
4. Yahuwahs people will be persecuted, killed, and hated by every nation in the world. (Matthew 24:9)
5. The mark of the beast crisis will be fully engaged to persecute Yahuwahs people. (Revelation 3:15-18)
6. A system will be set up where only those who receive the mark of the beast will be allowed to buy and sell.
(Revelation 13:17)
7. Many false prophets and preachers will be in the world doing great signs and wonders and will deceive many
people. (Matthew 24:11, 24)
8. Sin will be very abundant throughout the world, and love will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)
9. The good news about Yahuwahs love will be preached in all the world. (Matthew 24:14)
10. False Christs will appear throughout the world with great signs and wonders. The second coming of Yahushua
will be so successfully impersonated that many people will be deceived into thinking that Yahushua has
returned, even though it is Satan himself or one of His agents. (Matthew 24:23-26)
2. What important question did the disciples ask Yahushua as He sat upon the Mount of Olives?
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the world?"
Matthew 24:3.
3. What was Yahushuas first response and warning?
www.WorldsLastChance.com

Yahushua answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my
name, saying, I am the Anointed; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5. For false Christs. . . shall rise, and
shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed Mark 13:22,23.
Answer: Yahushua warns us in these verses not to be deceived when many come and claim to be Him. Today
there are several people who make this claim. Satan himself will counterfeit Yahushuas return with such
brilliance and glory that nearly all the people of earth will be deceived and will bow down and worship him.
4. What conditions points to Yahushuas return in the physical world?
"And there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." Matthew 24:7
Answer: Famine and pestilences often accompany or follow great wars. After world War I, famine in China
numbered fifteen million starving and three million dead. Russia's famine, according to the explorer, Nansen,
was the "most appalling in the recorded history of man." The world's influenza epidemic took 18,000,000 lives.
World War II had its own grim story of hunger and disease.
Earthquakes are another sign of Yahushua's return. Scientists estimate that as many as one million quakes a
year may be taking place in the world, only about 8,000 of which are severe enough to be recorded. Of the
more disastrous ones of comparatively recent times, we might list the following: 1920-- China, 180,000 killed;
1923-Japan, 143,000 lives lost; 1939-Central Turkey, 23,000 dead; 1950-Tibet, India, and Burma, 5,000
casualties.
NOTE: *After Noahs flood+ At this time immense forests were buried. These have since been changed to coal,
forming the extensive coal beds that now exist, and also yielding large quantities of oil. The coal and oil
frequently ignite and burn beneath the surface of the earth. Thus rocks are heated, limestone is burned, and
iron ore melted. The action of the water upon the lime adds fury to the intense heat, and causes earthquakes,
volcanoes, and fiery issues. As the fire and water come in contact with ledges of rock and ore, there are heavy
explosions underground, which sound like muffled thunder. The air is hot and suffocating. Volcanic eruptions
follow; and these often failing to give sufficient vent to the heated elements, the earth itself is convulsed, the
ground heaves and swells like the waves of the sea, great fissures appear, and sometimes cities, villages, and
burning mountains are swallowed up. These wonderful manifestations will be more and more frequent and
terrible just before the second coming of [Yahushua] and the end of the world, as signs of its speedy
destruction. Patriarchs and Prophets, page 108.
5. Will there be deceptions through false prophets and teachers before the coming of Yahushua?
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:11. For false Christs and false
prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye
heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. Mark 13:22,23.
Answer: Today, there are more than twenty-four persons who claim to be prophets. One of the Biblical tests
of a true prophet of Yahuwah is that the prophet must be 100% accurate. A true prophet of Yahuwah is not
permitted even one false prophecy, for if the message of the prophet came from Yahuwah, how could it be in
error? Needless to say, of the prophets of the world today not one has a perfect record; they all make errors,
www.WorldsLastChance.com

and are, therefore, not prophets of Yahuwah. These false prophets are a sign of the end; they do, indeed,
deceive many. WE HAVE A LESSON ON BIBLE PROPHETS.. PLEASE AVAIL YOURSELF OF THE OPPORTUNITY TO
STUDY IT.
Signs in the Religious World
6. What is the strongest and most crucial sign in the religious world that points to the nearness of
Yahushua's second coming?
Answer: According to the Bible prophecy of the last days found in the book of Revelation chapter 17, we are
living under the eighth king, the last pope - Francis I. Yahuwah has informed us, in His written Word, that the
eighth king will transform the Roman Catholic Church by bringing her out of her wilderness experience and
back to her former persecuting-beast status. The eighth king will usher persecution for Yahuwah's people who
obey His Commandments, including observance of His Sabbath day. The time of the eighth king/beast will
witness hitherto unseen false miracles and signs, which will exalt the papacy in the eyes of all who are not
written in the Book of Life: The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the
bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not
written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not,
and yet is. Revelation 17:8.

Signs in the Political World
7. What three great signs did Yahushua say would appear in the political world?
Answer:
A. Fear and perplexity.
"There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear. and for looking after those things
which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of
man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." Luke 21:25-27.
B. Spirit of war.
"Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to
pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom" Matthew 24:6-
7. (Revelation 11:18; Joel 3:9-14).
NOTE: Yahushua tells us that there will be wars and rumors of wars. For the past several decades the world
has had almost continual war and terrorism. Tensions among nations and among races driven by powerful
Satanic forces continue to mount as the world moves farther and farther from the peaceful ideal most people
desire.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

C. Great efforts for peace.
"The day of the Master so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then
sudden destruction cometh upon them." 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3. "They have healed also My people slightly
saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace." Jeremiah 6:14.
NOTE: The accuracy of Bible prophecy is here demonstrated by predicting that, in the very midst of
unprecedented preparation for war, there would be widespread talk of peace. The historian, Hazen, has
confirmed this by saying, "The contemporary world, to a degree altogether unprecedented in history, has
been dominated by the thought of war, by extraordinary preparations for war, and by zealous and concerted
efforts for peace."
Signs in the Social World
8. What conditions will prevail in the social world in the last days?
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful. unholy, without natural
affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady,
highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of Yahuwah; having a form of piety, but denying the power
thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
Answer: What an amazingly accurate prophecy! One would be hard-pressed to describe more accurately the
general condition of the people of the world today.
A. lovers of their own selves:
We see here that men are lovers of themselves only, having very little regard for the well-being of others. In
fact, society today has degenerated to the point where, as has happened many times, a woman can be
attacked on a busy street in broad daylight, and no one comes to her aid.
The argument is sometimes heard that people have always been this way. Those who claim this are, in reality,
ignorant of history, for as time progresses, the stature and character of the human being continue to become
more base. Have you noticed the shift in focus in these last decades? Where formerly a man was admired as
he sacrificed for family; country; Yahuwah. But now a man boasts of Doing His Own Thing, and people do
not question it. Abandoning others so one can Live His Own Life is the IN thing!
And what about all the emphasis on Self Gratification & Self Esteem? Treat yourself: You deserve it! Pamper
yourself! Where in the not too distant past, people lived worked and co-operated for the sake of their
extended families; these days see even teens wanting their Own Apartments so they can do as they please.
B. COVETOUS:
People today are covetous, as the text indicates. People now want and want and want, even when they can't
afford to have. Even what they have no right to have! Their thoughts are continually of themselves and how to
www.WorldsLastChance.com

get ahead in the world, how to get more money, how to get a better car or a larger house. People today use
any means, no matter how immoral, to accomplish their purposes. They use others to their own advantage in
their mad frenzy to get to the top or to find pleasure and to have fun. Never before in history have people
been more caught up with things and the latest gadgetry. Never before has credit been so available but still
the cry is More! More! More!
C. BOASTERS:
The next characteristic of men in the last days mentioned in this text is that they are boasters. Dictionary: to
praise yourself, or speak arrogantly about things you possess or have achieved. We can see this throughout
society, as people are very anxious for others to know of the great things they have done; but Yahuwah tells
us in Proverbs 27:2 to Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own
lips.
D. PROUD:
Are people proud today? They strut around, feeling superior to those who have less. They are proud of their
new cars, their fine homes, and especially their educations, for today in our humanistic society education
has been made an object of worship. You may recall that it was pride that led to the fall of Lucifer out of
heaven. Pride and Self-exaltation made a demon out of the brightest angel! The Bible teaches that the proud
and arrogant will not be in heaven. Think about it, if Yahuwah allowed anyone in heaven that fit the
descriptions of this text, He would have to apologize to Lucifer and invite him back into heaven. People are so
prideful, even those that claim to be saved!
E. Blasphemers:
Blasphemers are mentioned next, and today it seems as if many are unable to get through even one sentence
without taking the name of Yahuwah in vain. Their speech has been given over to utter abandon as their foul
phrases mock the very principles of truth and decency. The Bible states that a blasphemer is a person that
claim themselves to be equal to Yahuwah or assumes His authority. There are groups that claim that man,
over a process of time, can become a deity. Think about that! Yahuwah has placed His signature on all of
creation. He has created something from nothing. No man or devil can do this!
A Blasphemer is also one who denies Yahuwah or insults Him. In our age we are seeing such Heaven-daring
rudeness to Yahuwah as even criminals of the past would have feared to speak or do. And most people laugh
at it!
F. disobedient to parents:
Are children disobedient to parents today, as the prophecy indicates? In the government schools, there is a
distinct effort made to alienate the youth from their parents and to lower the standards of morality. Children
today are taught that their parents are of the old-fashioned generation and are far behind the liberality and
knowledge of modern times. As a result, the youth seem to have many ways to show their rebellion and
contempt for their parents and for the traditional values of the past. In the past people still very much
respected their parents. Today we see even small children screaming I Hate You! at their parent when they
www.WorldsLastChance.com

have been denied some small indulgence. Children will tell parents what they are going to do, like it or not!
They have become manipulative of the parents for their own selfish desires. As for my people, children are
their oppressors Isaiah 3:12
G. unthankful:
Are people unthankful today as this prophecy indicates? Indeed, they are. The Bible tells us in Deuteronomy
8:18, But thou shalt remember Yahuwah thy Eloah: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth. How
many remember to thank Yahuwah for the many blessings and advantages He has given them? Most people
today are totally unthankful and unholy, without ever a thought of Yahuwah except to blaspheme His name.
Parents have taught their children to expect gifts just because of what day it is - and the attitude is that this is
their right! They also have no sense of the debt they owe to their Creator and Redeemer!
H. Unholy:
The Bible states that we are to be holy because Yahuwah is Holy. The character of Yahuwah is that He cannot
tolerate SIN. Yet we as a people of Yahuwah tolerate sin in our body on a continual basis. We explain it away
by saying, Surely Yahuwah......... (Before we finish the statement.... that is blasphemy). We cannot begin to
imagine what Yahuwah would allow in our body. We cannot begin to imagine how Yahuwah thinks! We must
take heed to His Word!
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than
your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9.
I. without natural affection:
Verse 3 mentions that in the last days men will be without natural affection. Dictionary: without feelings of
gratitude. People are not thankful. They believe that the world owes them a living whether they earn it or not.
Parents have taught their children to expect gifts just because of what day it is - and the attitude is that this is
their right!
This refers not only to the alienation of children from parents but also to the homosexuality abounding in our
world; those who practice this sin even demand respectability. This sin is just one more of the many signs that
the end of the earth is very near.
J. Trucebreakers:
Trucebreakers are mentioned next. Breaking agreements and promises whenever it is convenient to do so. In
our present world, the politicians of various nations sit around conference tables working out agreements,
very few of which are honored.
K. False Accusers:
To charge somebody falsely who is not guilty of crime or what we accuse them of.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

L. INCONTINENT:
Incontinent means without self control. In these last days, the people of earth are indeed without self
control; they have thrown off all restraints and cater to every appetite and desire. Today, licentiousness is
rampant among both the worldy and professed Christians.
M. Fierce:
Showing aggression or anger. More and more people are impatient and quick to wrath than ever before.
People will blow you away for cutting them off in traffic. That men are fierce is evident from the cruelty and
brutality so prevalent in the world today.
N. Despisers of those that are good:
We at World Last Chance, remember when good and well doing was admired and promoted on movies and in
books. Today the character shown as good in a story is usually ridiculed or played down while the wicked are
held up as being realistic.
Many a young person does wickedly merely so his friends wont call him a sissy or a goody-goody. Time after
time on TV and even cartoons we see the studious and hard-working set out as geeks or misfits and the
sexually pure are mocked as not with it or prudes. Even those who want to uphold right will usually say,
well everyone has their own opinions. This is what is right for me! Rarely do we hear: This is WRONG! and
almost never: This is SIN!
O. Traitors:
Those who betray the trust of others, and behave in a disloyal or treacherous manner.
P. HEADY:
Heady means stubborn and headstrong. If it feels good- Do it!
Q. HIGHMINDED:
Highminded means conceited. To inflate ones-self with self-conceit, to be lifted up with pride. To think
oneself highly important. These characteristics of men are widespread throughout the world today.
R. Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of Yahuwah:
There has not been any other time in these past two thousand years, since this book of Timothy has been
written, that people love their pleasures and entertainment more than they do today. Certainly they love
pleasure more than they love Yahuwah! Even their worship of Yahuwah centers on indulgence, church
suppers, and entertainment.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

In these last days it seems as if people work very hard at having pleasure. All week they think about and plan
what they will do on the weekend to have fun. They spend vast sums of money on their selfish pleasures,
going deeply into debt. They ignore Yahuwah and His business, which is by far more important than the
inanities people become involved in. But Yahuwah said this would happen in the last days.
S. Having a form of piety but denying the power thereof:
Of all this amazing prophecy, this item is perhaps the greatest sign of our times! Never has religion been so
widely accepted among the worldly minded and never before has so much worldliness been accepted and
welcomed into the ekklesia! In the past, getting religion was associated with repenting and turning from at
least the grosser sins. Now it means socializing and indulgence, entertainment and anything goes.
But if you start to talk of the POWER of Yahuwah to free the life from sin, people turn away. If you have a
problem You will be advised to go to counselors, self-help seminars, therapy groups. The POWER of Yahuwah
is pushed aside and Humanism stands in its place. The first question is not What is Truth? but What
organization or group do you belong to?
The Old Testament warned of our day also. There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless
their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation, whose
teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from
among men". Proverbs 30:11-14.
9. What are we advised to do when we see these things?
"From such turn away." 2Timothy 3:5. That which ye have already hold fast till I come. Revelation 2:25.
10. What are we to turn to?
"I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou
mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve,
that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I
stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:18-20
Signs in the Economic World
11. What conditions point to Yahushuas return in the economic world?
"Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are
corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be
a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last
days. Behold, the hire of the labourers, who have reaped down your field, which is of you kept back by fraud,
crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Master of hosts. Ye have lived
www.WorldsLastChance.com

in pleasure on earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have
condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. James 5: 1-6.
Answer: As "the coming of the Master draweth nigh," the age long conflict between employer and employee
is destined to assume larger proportions. Now it is no longer one individual bargaining with another. Instead
great corporations negotiate with the organized forces of labor, representing millions of workers. Since the
dispute between management and labor will not end until Yahushua comes, the Christian is urged to be
patient until that time"
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Master. Behold the husbandman waiteth for the
precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and the latter rain. Be ye
also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Master draweth nigh." James 5:7-8.
Increase of Knowledge
12. What two great changes were to appear in the time of the end?
"But thou, 0 Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and
fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4.
Answer: The past 150 years stand apart from all previous history by reason of the sudden increase of
knowledge in science, general learning, and invention. The patriarch, Abraham, who lived four thousand years
ago, would hardly be more startled by the tremendous changes than would George Washington, who died just
before the nineteenth century began.
The great increase of knowledge concerning Yahuwah's Word has been as extraordinary as advances in the
world of science. Whereas the Bible was available only to a comparatively few two centuries ago, today it is
being circulated on a worldwide scale, by hundreds of millions of copies. This has largely been accomplished
since the great Bible societies were organized after 1798. Truly we are living in "the time of the end."
Daniel's prediction that "many shall run to and fro" has likewise received most striking fulfillment. Many
commentators believe that this expression refers primarily to the increased activity in searching the Bible and
its prophecies that has been evident during the past century. Although we recognize this as its first
application, beyond a doubt it also forecasts the tremendous increase of travel on a global scale that has
characterized the past fifty years. The restless populations of the world are on the move by foot, automobile,
rail, ship, and airplane. No longer do the great oceans isolate continents and nations; for air travel has shrunk
distances until statesmen transact business today in foreign capitals across the seas, and tomorrow they can
be back in their own offices.
Other Signs in the Religious World
13. What other four outstanding signs are in the religious world?
Answer:
www.WorldsLastChance.com

A. Scoffers.
"Know this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, saying. Where is
the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of creation." 2 Peter 3:3-4.
B. The gospel shall be preached in all the world.
"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the
end come." Matthew 24:14.
Answer: The message of Yahushua's sacrifice on the cross and His soon second coming is being sounded in
about eight hundred language and dialect areas of the world. Missionaries have roamed this entire globe
preaching the Gospel of Yahushuas kingdom. The Gospel, in fact, is being preached even in places where one
would not expect it to be. Recently a report was carried out of Red China by one of the people who managed
to escape. This report told of a minister who had two Bibles. When the police came to confiscate all the Bibles
in the area, the minister kept one at the risk of his life. If he is caught he will suffer a most brutal death, for the
communists, in order to terrorize the people into obedience, make examples of those who disobey. This
minister has a large congregation which meets secretly to copy pages from his old, worn out Bible so that they
may have the privilege of reading a few precious pages of Scripture. This Gospel of the kingdom has indeed
been preached in all the world. The end is very near.
C. Lack of love.
"Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." Matthew 24:12.
Answer: Many, seeing hypocrisy even in some ekklesia members and almost universal corruption elsewhere in
the world, lose courage and love grows cold.
D. Lack of faith.
"When the Son of Man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8.
Answer: The parable of Luke 18: 1-8 indicates that the prayer of faith will be almost nonexistent "when the
Son of man cometh." This is understandable, for modernistic teaching has undermined belief in Yahuwah as a
real being.
Signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars
14. What three unusual sights in the heavens were foretold as signs of the end?
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened. and the moon shall not give her
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven. and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall
appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth morn. and they shall see
www.WorldsLastChance.com

the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" Matthew 24:29-30. (Joel 3: 15;
Revelation 6: 1213).
Answer: The great period of tribulation mentioned in connection with these unusual sights in the heavens is
known in history as the Dark Ages. As you will learn, Yahuwah had revealed, through Daniel, the prophet
(Daniel 7:25), that this time of papal supremacy would commence in AD. 538 and last until AD. 1798 Public
persecution ceased, however, about 25 years before the full 1,260 years had elapsed, due to the combined
influence of the Protestant Reformation and the opportunities for religious freedom in America.
Now note the accuracy of Yahushua's prediction in Mark 13:24, where He says, "In those days, after that
tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light." The first of these signs appeared
after persecution ended, "in those days," or shortly before 1798. Yahuwah's Word never fails: hence on May
19, 1780, the sun was darkened. Early in the day the birds disappeared, domestic fowl went to roost, and
grazing cattle in the pasture wended their way toward the barnyard. That same night the moon was darkened
and gave the appearance of blood (Revelation 6: 12).
"The stars shall fall from heaven," These, of necessity, would be shooting stars. As predicted, the greatest
meteoric shower ever recorded seemed to set the very heavens ablaze on the night of November 13, 1833.
The minds of men were made sober at the time, and contemporary writings indicate that many feared the
final day of judgment had come.
His Coming Is Too Close
15. How near is Yahushuas coming when we see all these signs?
"Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that
summer is nigh: so likewise ye, when ye shall sees all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Matthew 24:32-34.
Answer: The Bible is very specific and plain on this point. The signs have almost all been fulfilled. We cannot
know the exact day and hour of Yahushua's return (Matthew 24:36), but we can be confident that we are the
people who will live to see Yahushua return. Yahuwah has promised to finish things very quickly now and cut
the work short (Romans 9:28). Yahushua is coming back to this earth for His people very soon. Are you ready?
16. What attitude of life should we maintain in these days of expectation?
"Of that day and hour knoweth no man, no not the angels of heaven, but My Father only. As the days of Noe
were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were
eating and drinking' marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not
until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . . Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Master doth come." Matthew 24:36-42.
Answer: The people of Noah's day had received adequate warning of the coming Flood, but they were
afflicted with the same sins that beset modern man - unbelief, preoccupation with pleasure seeking, and
procrastination.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

To the people of His day, Yahushua said, "0 fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have
spoken" (Luke 24:25).
In His great love, Yahuwah has given us many signs that show Yahushua's coming to be near. These signs have
been given that we and our dear ones may be ready when He comes. Are you not grateful for the evidences all
about us that indicate that soon we shall see Yahushua face to face? The world around us may be in perplexity
and strife, but we can rejoice that soon all this will pass away and an eternity with Yahushua will stretch out
before us. There is no doubt about it. If we follow the advice of Yahushua to "watch therefore," we will be
ready.
Dear WLC member: Have you made the necessary preparation? Have you asked Yahushua to be Ruler of
your life?

Back in the remote past, before the creation of the earth, there was in heaven one named "Lucifer," who was
known by his fellows as "the son of the morning." He occupied the exalted position of leader of the angelic
choir and stood next to the Son of Yahuwah in command of the heavenly host.
Stranger than fiction is the Bible record of how this exalted angel instituted a rebellion against Yahuwah, led a
host of the angels to follow him, and was at last expelled from heaven. Lucifer, transformed into "the devil."
"To many minds the origin of sin and the reason for its existence are a source of great perplexity. They see the
work of evil, with its terrible results of woe and desolation, and they question how all this can exist under the
sovereignty of One who is infinite in wisdom, in power, and in love. Here is a mystery of which they find no
explanation. And in their uncertainty and doubt they are blinded to truths plainly revealed in Yahuwah's word
and essential to salvation. There are those who, in their inquiries concerning the existence of sin, endeavor to
search into that which Yahuwah has never revealed; hence they find no solution of their difficulties; and such
as are actuated by a disposition to doubt and cavil seize upon this as an excuse for rejecting the words of Holy
Writ. Others, however, fail of a satisfactory understanding of the great problem of evil, from the fact that
tradition and misinterpretation have obscured the teaching of the Bible concerning the character of Yahuwah,
the nature of His government, and the principles of His dealing with sin.
"It is impossible to explain the origin of sin so as to give a reason for its existence. Yet enough may be
understood concerning both the origin and the final disposition of sin to make fully manifest the justice and
benevolence of [Yahuwah] in all His dealings with evil. Nothing is more plainly taught in Scripture than that
[Yahuwah] was in no wise responsible for the entrance of sin; that there was no arbitrary withdrawal of divine
grace, no deficiency in the divine government, that gave occasion for the uprising of rebellion. Sin is an
intruder, for whose presence no reason can be given. It is mysterious, unaccountable; to excuse it is to defend
it. Could excuse for it be found, or cause be shown for its existence, it would cease to be sin. Our only
definition of sin is that given in the word of [Yahuwah]; it is 'the transgression of the law;' it is the outworking
of a principle at war with the great law of love which is the foundation of the divine government." The Great
Controversy, page 492.
Lucifer, the Devil
1. Does the devil really exist?
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he
may devour." 1 Peter 5:8.
Answer: Yes, the Bible says he is our enemy. All who seek to follow Yahushua will be brought into conflict with
this relentless foe.
2. Was Satan always a devil?
Answer: No, he originally was one of Yahuwah's highest angels in heaven. Yahuwah had created him to be the
"anointed cherub" to stand by Yahuwah's throne and cover it with his outstretched wings. He was very
beautiful, full of wisdom, and a skillful musician. He was perfect in all his ways. See Ezekiel 28:12-15; 26:13.

Not Created A Devil
3. What changed this beautiful Lucifer into a devil?
Answer: Lucifer became proud because of his beauty (Ezk. 28:15-17) and jealous of Yahuwah; he was
determined to take His place as Ruler of the universe (Isaiah 14:12-14).
4. And why did Lucifer sin?
Answer: The sin of Lucifer is unexplainable. To excuse sin is to defend it. Lucifer had everything that Yahuwah
could give except Yahuwah's divinity. Yahuwah's Son, Yahushua, inherited His Father's divinity. Lucifer was
jealous of Yahushua. This is how the great controversy between Yahushua and Satan began. Satan's power to
deceive is so great that inspite of being in the presence of Yahuwah, many angels believed Satan's accusations
against Yahuwah and followed Satan instead. They did not keep their first estate (Jude 6). They transgressed
(Hebrews 2:2). They were cast out to this world with him (Revelation 12:9). And so will sin make us all
outcasts, unless we confess and forsake it and humbly acknowledge the sovereignty of Yahuwah.
5. After Lucifer's rebellion, what happened to him?
"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole
world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." Revelation 12:9.
"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." Luke 10:18.
"How art thou fallen from heaven, 0 Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which
didst weaken the nations!" Isaiah 14:12.
Answer: Lucifer won the support of one-third of the angels (Rev. 12:3, 4) and caused an insurrection in
heaven. Yahuwah had no choice but to oust Lucifer and his angels. This was the greatest battle, by far, ever
fought. Lucifer's aim was to usurp Yahuwah's throne, even if it might eventually lead to murder (John 8:44).
After his expulsion from heaven, Lucifer was called Satan (adversary) and devil (slanderer), and his angels were
called demons.
The Tempter Visits Eden
6. After his fall, what place did Satan visit?
"Thou hast been in Eden the garden of Elohim." Ezekiel 28:13.
Answer: He appeared in Eden, where Yahuwah had placed Adam and Eve.
7. In what form did Satan approach Eve in Eden?
Answer: He used the serpent as a medium and spoke to Eve through it. See Genesis 3:1.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

In order to accomplish his work unperceived, Satan chose to employ as his medium the serpent--a disguise
well adapted for his purpose of deception. The serpent was then one of the wisest and most beautiful
creatures on the earth. It had wings (Isaiah 14:29; 30:6), and while flying through the air presented an
appearance of dazzling brightness, having the color and brilliancy of burnished gold. Resting in the rich-laden
branches of the forbidden tree and regaling itself with the delicious fruit, it was an object to arrest the
attention and delight the eye of the beholder. Thus in the garden of peace lurked the destroyer, watching for
his prey. Patriarchs and Prophets, page 53.
8. In giving man liberty to eat from the garden of Eden, what single reservation did Yahuwah make?
"And Yahuwah Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou
shalt surely die." Genesis 2:16, 17.
Answer: This was to be the test of man's loyalty to his Creator. Yahuwah out of love gave Adam and Eve the
choice, whether they wanted to obey Him or not. If He did not give them this choice they would have been
forced to obey Him, thus their obedience would be as that of slaves or robots and not an obedience of choice
because they love Yahuwah. Death was to be the result in case of disobedience. See Genesis 3:1-3.
NOTE: Our first parents, though created innocent and holy, were not placed beyond the possibility of
wrongdoing. [Yahuwah] made them free moral agents, capable of appreciating the wisdom and benevolence
of His character and the justice of His requirements, and with full liberty to yield or to withhold obedience.
They were to enjoy communion with [Yahuwah] and with holy angels; but before they could be rendered
eternally secure, their loyalty must be tested. At the very beginning of man's existence a check was placed
upon the desire for self-indulgence, the fatal passion that lay at the foundation of Satan's fall. The tree of
knowledge, which stood near the tree of life in the midst of the garden, was to be a test of the obedience,
faith, and love of our parents. While permitted to eat freely of every other tree, they were forbidden to taste
of this, on pain of death. They were also to be exposed to the temptations of Satan; but if they endured the
trial, they would finally be placed beyond his power, to enjoy perpetual favor with [Yahuwah+. Patriarch and
Prophets, page 48.
Doubting Yahuwah's Word
9. How did Satan challenge Yahuwah's Word?
"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat
thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil." Genesis 3:4, 5.
Answer: By casting doubt on Yahuwahs word. Satan's lies were: (1) you won't die, and (2) eating the fruit will
make you wise. Satan, who invented lying (John 8:44), mixed truth with lies to deceive Eve. A little bit of error
mixed with a lot of truth has always been Satan's effective method of deception. It was truth they would
"know evil" after sinning. In love, Yahuwah had withheld from them the knowledge of heartache, grief,
suffering, pain, and death. Satan, as he does today, made the knowledge of evil appear attractive. Satan told
lies to misrepresent Yahuwah's character because he knew that no one would ever turn away from such a
loving Creator unless he misunderstands His character.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

NOTE: *Yahuwah+ could employ only such means as were consistent with truth and righteousness. Satan
could use what [Yahuwah] could not--flattery and deceit. He had sought to falsify the word of [Yahuwah] and
had misrepresented His plan of government, claiming that [Yahuwah] was not just in imposing laws upon the
angels; that in requiring submission and obedience from His creatures, He was seeking merely the exaltation
of Himself. It was therefore necessary to demonstrate before the inhabitants of heaven, and of all the worlds,
that [Yahuwah's] government is just, His law perfect. Satan had made it appear that he himself was seeking to
promote the good of the universe. The true character of the usurper and his real object must be understood
by all. He must have time to manifest himself by his wicked works. Patriarch and Prophets, page 42.
10. After yielding to the voice of the tempter and disobeying Yahuwah, how did Adam and Eve feel?
"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves
together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Yahuwah Elohim walking in the
garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahuwah Elohim
amongst the trees of the garden. And the Yahuwah Elohim called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art
thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."
Genesis 3:7-10.
Answer: They were filled with a sense of shame and terror.
11. As a result of man's sin, what curse did Yahuwah pronounce upon him and upon the earth?
"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree,
of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt
thou eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the
herb of the field; in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it
wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Genesis 3: 17-19.
Answer: Yahuwah cursed the ground for his sake.
Consequence of Sin
12. What has the whole human family suffered as a result of Adams sin?
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for
that all have sinned. Romans 5:12.
Answer: Death.
NOTE: Immortality, promised to man on condition of obedience, has been forfeited by transgression. Adam
could not transmit to his posterity that which he did not possess; and there could have been no hope for the
fallen race had not Yahuwah, by the sacrifice of His Son, brought immortality within their reach. While "death
passed upon all men, for that all have sinned," Yahushua "hath brought life and immortality to light through
the gospel." Romans 5:12; 2 Timothy 1:10. And only through Yahushua can immortality be obtained. "He that
believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life." John 3:36.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

13. Where is Satan's headquarters now and what position does he occupy?
"And Yahuwah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Yahuwah, and said, From going
to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it." Job 1:7. See Job 2:2.
"Woe to the inhabiters of the earth, and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Revelation 12:12.
"Of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage." 2 Peter 2:19.
Answer: Contrary to popular opinion, Satan's headquarters is the earth. Yahuwah gave Adam and Eve
dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:26). When they sinned, they lost it to Satan (Romans 6:16), who then
became ruler, or prince of the earth (John 12:31). Satan bitterly hates humans, who were created in
Yahuwah's image.
14. What methods does Satan use to cause humans to perish?
There are seven principal avenues of approach by which the enemy works:
A. Through deception. In the Garden of Eden he took the form of a serpent and deceived Eve (Genesis 3:1).
"Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." 1 Timothy 2:14.
Deception is the devil's main method-first, last, and always. He will deceive every person who does not love
Yahuwah and the truth supremely (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12). To be deceived means to think you are right when
you are wrong. We should not blame the devil for our own doings, however. We may deceive ourselves (1
Corinthians 3:18; 1 John 1:8).
B. Through people who profess to be Yahuwah's servants."Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light." 2 Cor. 11:14. He works through sinful men, some of whom profess to be Yahuwah's servants.
"Such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of the Anointed. And no
marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also
be transformed as the ministers of righteousness." 2 Cor. 11:13-15.
C. Through organizations. "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual Wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12.
D. Through miracles. "They are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the
earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of Yahuwah Almighty." Revelation
16:14 (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9).
NOTE: Satan wanted to control Peter (Luke 22:31-33). He did capture Judas (Luke 22:33). He got into Ananias'
heart and led him to lie to the Holy Ghost (Acts 5: 1-5). Yahushua warned, "Take heed that no man deceive
www.WorldsLastChance.com

you" (Matthew 24:4). These are the very days when we are to beware, lest any man or any miracle lead us to
disbelieve or disobey Yahuwah (Matthew 24:24; 2 Timothy 3:13).
Paul warned of the great falling away of all the churches and denominations, finally to be headed by the "man
of sin." This man would claim that he was another deity. Satan did not like Yahuwah's laws, and he wished to
exalt his own throne above Yahuwah. On earth he has deceived millions with a religious system by exalting
man as a deity, leading him to tamper with the Ten Commandments, and trying to change them; thus he seeks
to prove his claim to deity-ship. We must not continue to be deceived by Satan, by man, by organizations, or
by ourselves.
E. Through accusations. "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our Eloah, and the power
of his Anointed: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our Eloah day and
night." Revelation 12:10.
Satan accused Yahuwah to Eve (Genesis 3:4-5). He accused Job to Yahuwah (Job 1:8-11; 2:4-5). He accused, or
resisted, Joshua the high priest (Zechariah 3:1-2). And he will accuse, condemn, and trouble you with many
evil condemnations.
He will come to you and tell you that you are unworthy to be saved, that you have failed too many times, or
that you are too great a sinner. He will hold up your past sins to discourage you.
F. Through afflictions. "So went Satan forth from the presence of Yahuwah, and smote Job with sore boils
from the sole of his foot unto his crown." Job 2:7.
He bound a woman for eighteen years. "This woman, being a daughter of Abraham. .Satan hath bound, lo,
these eighteen years." Luke 13:16. He buffeted Paul's flesh (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). Satan afflicts many people,
both saints and sinners.
G. Through persecution. When the devil cannot bring people to believe through deception, he will seek to
drive them into persecution. He is a mean and ugly master, and stirs up evil against Yahuwah's people. He
persecutes the true and faithfuls that are worshipping in their homes. Read Revelation 12. He makes war on
commandment keepers (Revelation 12:17).
"He was a murderer from the beginning." John 8:44.
In these last days he will make war upon the true ekklesia, which keep the commandments of Yahuwah
(Revelation 12:17). "He was a murderer from the beginning." He sought to destroy man's love for, and
obedience to, his Creator; and he has, through the ages, incited false religion to persecute the saints of
Yahuwah even unto death. Yahushua died that He might "destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the
devil" (Hebrews 2:14).
Remember, Yahuwah made Lucifer, not Satan. The change from the righteous Lucifer to the sinful Satan was
made by Satan himself. Yahuwah could make His creatures in either of two ways with the power of choice or
without it. He created them with the power of choice. It is the only intelligent, satisfying way. His beings thus
serve Him because they love Him and choose to obey.
www.WorldsLastChance.com

As long as Yahuwah gave the power of choice, evil might be chosen, which is the opposite of Yahuwah's way.
Of all Yahuwah's creatures, Lucifer had the least excuse to sin because he was highest. But he deliberately
chose jealousy.
