skeins off-white #4 (A) and a scrap each
of yellow #230 (B), clear blue #841 (C)
and emerald green #673 (D)
Size F/5 crochet hook
Washable, flexible glue or sewing needle
and thread

5 dc = 1"; 5 patt rows = 2"

Join rnds with a sl st unless otherwise stated.

Row 1: With A, ch 75, sc in 2nd ch from
hook and in each rem ch across, ch 1, turn.

Rows 2 & 3: Sc in each sc across, ch 1,
turn.
Row 4: *Sc in next sc, dc from front
around post of corresponding st 2nd row
below (Row 2), rep from * across to last 2
sc, sc in each of last 2 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 5: Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Sc in each of first 2 sc, *dc from
front around post of corresponding st 2nd
row below (Row 4), rep from * across, ch 1,
turn.
Row 7: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.

Edging
Rnd 1: Attach C with a sc in any corner,
sc in each sc and row end around, working
3 sc in 3 corners and 2 sc in last corner,
join in beg sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, reverse sc in each sc
around, join in beg sc, fasten off.
Inside Straps
Attach A with a sl st in first st on first row
of cover, ch to meas 9" or slightly shorter
than cover (ch will stretch), sl st in corre-
sponding st on last row.
Rep for 2nd strap, attaching A in last st
of first row of cover, and sl st on corre-
sponding st on last row.
Work 2 more straps on each end of cover
spaced 3" apart (2 middle straps will be
spaced 1!/2" apart).
