Please pray for the WHAC Pastoral Search Committee as they begin looking for both an interim and a long term pastor. Pray for the whole team to be unified in what they are looking for, that they be given wisdom from the Lord through this whole process, and that the right candidates for both positions would become very obvious to all.
Please pray for our congregation and leadership as we walk into this important time of transition at WHAC.
Praise the Lord that nearly $8,500 was raised by Alliance youth for ministries across Africa and the Middle East. Please pray that these resources would be used by God to draw people into His family through Jesus Christ! Pray for the Alliance team of international workers serving in Thailand and for the national church there. Pray for safety and an open door for the gospel. Pray for Alliance workers in Bosnia for opportunities to share the hope of Jesus as they partner with local churches to provide tangible relief and compassionate care to flood victims and their families. COMMUNION 18 May - Barry Are you new to this facility? We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The toilets are located down the passage to the right as you exit the sanctuary. Our Children's Ministry - for both Preschoolers and 5-13 year olds - begins part way through the service. A notice will appear on the screen when it is time to send the children out. Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat. For more Information on whom we are and all of our ministries visit us at; www.whac.net.nz
salm 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Doing Life Together The Christian walk is filled with so much more joy as we share it together. We truly need each other's gifts and abilities, inspiration, intelligence, wisdom and time. Plan to join us in any or all of the following: BABY DEDICATION CHURCH FAMILY DINNER WORSHIP WORKSHOP WITH OMEGA LEVINE 1 June At WHAC, we are convinced that children are a blessing from God. Because of this, we hold baby dedications as a sort of public promise on the parents' behalf, where they pledge to do all that they can to lead their children into a growing relationship with God - with the support of the local church. If you would like to dedicate your little ones to the Lord, please talk to Pastor Matt today!
7 June from 06:00pm

Childrens Ministry at WHAC BUILDING A BETTER LIBRARY Ages 0 - 4 Our preschool ministry meets in the back hall during the message time, and is designed to be a fun place for kids to experience the love of Jesus through care, play and bite sized teaching. As I've reflected on the ways that the Lord has developed my faith, I've come to realize that He's used a range of things from painful experiences, to quiet conversations, to camps, and the writings of various Christian authors. At WHAC, we want to see your faith grow and develop, and while we can't order a range of painful experiences for you to go through, we can order some good Christian books... which is where we need your help. If there has been a book that has impacted your greatly in the past, please let an elder know, and we will endeavour to put that book in our church library. Pastor Matt
