BITACORA

LA ESTADISTICA: La estadstica se ocupa de los mtodos cientficos que se utiliza para recolectar,
organizar, resumir, presentar y analizar datos as como para obtener conclusiones vlidas y tomar
decisiones razonables con base en este anlisis. (Spiegel, 2009)
Estadstica inductiva o inferencial: Tiene una muestra que es representativa de la poblacin, el
anlisis de la muestra permite inferir conclusiones vlidas acerca de la poblacin. Como estas
inferencias no pueden ser absolutamente ciertas, para presentar estas conclusiones se emplea el
lenguaje de la probabilidad. (Spiegel, 2009)
Estadstica descriptiva o deductiva: Es la parte de la estadstica que nicamente trata de describir y
analizar un grupo dado, sin sacar ninguna conclusin ni hacer inferencia alguna acerca de un grupo
ms grande. (Spiegel, 2009)
Histograma: Histograma de frecuencia consiste en un conjunto de rectngulos que tienen: a) sus
bases sobre en eje horizontal (eje X), con sus centro coincidiendo con las marcas de clases de
longitudes iguales a la amplitud del intervalo de clase, y b) reas proporcionales a las frecuencias
de clases.
Polgono de frecuencias: Es una grfica de lnea que presenta las frecuencias de clases graficas
contra las marcas de clases. Se puede obtener conectado los puntos medios de las partes
superiores de loa rectngulos de un histograma.
