History and Clinical signs:-
Off feed,
Respiratory distress, labored breathing, wheezing sounds,
Inflamed tracheas,
Muscle stiffness ,
Greenish coloure diarrhea
Fluid from nostrils
Diagnosis:-
Newcastle disease is diagnosed timidly On the basis of Symptoms and history.
Differential diagnosis:-
Infectious bronchitis
Infectious laryngotracheitis
Etiology:
Paramyxovirus.

Treatment:
Inject:
Decadron 1ml/po once (for respiratory distress)
Tablet:
Amoxil 1 tab daily (for secondary bacterial infection)
Tablet: flagyl 200mg-6 tab,1/2+1/2 (for diarrhea)






FELINE RESPIRATORY DISEASE

Serous nasal ocular discharge

Diagnosis:-
Typical signs of feline calci virus are present
Differential diagnosis:-
Feline viral rhino tracheitis
Chlamydiosis
Bordetella bronchiseptica
Etiology:-
Calci virus
Treatment:-
Injec:
Amoxiciline
Eye drops:
Cipros(ciproflaxacin) 2drops each eye. Twice a day
Tablet:
Avil(chlorpheniramine maleate) 8mg P/O BiD
Somogel (Apply on ulcerated lips and tongue towice a day)
Advised:-
Give soft food, no restriction of diet.







Canine Demadecosis
Species Dog

Complaint:-
Itching and hyper corrugation of skin.
History and Clinical findings:-
Alopecia, scaled skin
Small nodules on affected skin
Severely inflamed and granulomatous skin
Emaciated and depressed.
Fever
Diagnosis:-
Disease is diagnosed via clinical findings and Lab test for skin scraping which was
positive for Demadex Canis the causal agent of Demadicosis.
Differential Diagnosis:-
Dermatophytosis (fungl skin infection, classic circular alopecia)
Pyoderma (persistent pus formation in nodules)
Etiology:-
Demodex Canis (A cigar shaped mite)



Treatment:-
Injection:
Ivomec(Ivermectin) 0.2ml +
Sterile Water 0.8ml S/C
Oxidil 500mg I/M
Solu-cortef 250mg I/M
Tablet:
Flucon 150mg (10 Tablets BiD)
Ivermectin 6mg (40 tablets BiD 2 tabs each time)
Lotion:-
Scabion apply for 20 minutes then wash
