an"more and the user will 'ust see his published applications.
The 6Seamless Color6 can be modified and must be the same when using the 3dminTool and the ortable
Client Generator.
Automatically "pdatin# enerated Clients $rom t%e Server
&ur customers wanted to be able to update all of the generated client programs without ha!ing to generate a
new client program for each workstation.
If TSplus is up*to*date on the ser!er side$ users will be recommended to update their connection client from the
ser!er.
3lso$ we store the client parameters locall" and we offer the capabilit" for the administrator to edit locall" these
parameters on a specific workstation if needed.

Seamless Connection Client

Desktop can also be used if preferred.
Because these TSplus Desktops are full screen$ it fills the user displa" when a session is opened from
dedicated thin*clients$ an" )D based client$ or accessed from a web page or TSplus )emote Desktop clients.
There are benefits o!er a standard )emote Desktop. It enhances the ser!er securit" 7no ST3)T button neither
full control of the Desktop8. The 3dministrator can also customi;e the desktop background b" replacing it with
"our corporate logo.

Because the file transfers are based on a Airtual Channel$ it is a lot faster than a file cop"$ and it can be done

Overview
TSplus supports : different kinds of 3pplication ublishing9
+icrosoft )emote Desktop. The user will see the full -indows )emote Desktop in the session.
TSplus Taskbar. 3n" application$ folder$ shortcuts$ documentsK copied in the user Desktop folder will be
published with the TSplus )emote. In this case$ the user does not ha!e an" access to applications other than
those decided b" the administrator. 3pplication Control has a much finer grain.
3ssign one$ two$ three$ or more specific applications to a user#group. In this case the user will onl" see their
assigned applications when opening a session.
(%ere is a priority rule to remem)er2 The +icrosoft )emote Desktop has the highest priorit"$ then the
TSplus Taskbar$ then specific applications. If a user has a specific application assigned and TSplus taskbar or
+icrosoft )emote Desktop$ the" will not see the specific application because the" ha!e a lower priorit".

application to unassign it.
Changes to users assignments are instantl" applied. Changes to groups assignments re,uire that "ou click on

<ou can audit which application is a!ailable to which user#group b" clicking on the 6Aiew 3ssignments6 tile in
the 63pplications6 section of the 3dminTool.
The following window will be displa"ed. It is a good wa" to !isuall" check the current application assignments.
In this e5ample$ the users Lohn and aul$ as well as an" member of the 6Users6 Group will be able to use the
6?otepad6 application.

-ith the TSplus Seamless Client$ the users will not displa" the +icrosoft )emote Desktop windows. The
applications can be found on the local desktop as if the" were nati!e local applications. Users will onl" see the
applications assigned b" the administrator.
If a user has the right to use the default +icrosoft )emote Desktop$ the Seamless Client will displa" a
background color to a!oid ha!ing both the )emote and the Docal Desktop icons piled on the screen.
The Seamless Client session is held open onl" when an application is running and being pushed through to
the local client. If no application has been assigned to this user$ TSplus will automaticall" use the TSplus
Taskbar.
If a user has specific applications assigned$ the" will seamlessl" see these applications when the session is
opened. -hen the last application is closed the session ends.

This feature is a powerful one.
It allows to open documents located on the ser!er on the client side depending on its file e5tension.
*or instance= you can open a 3icroso$t O$$ice Word document wit%out %avin# O$$ice installed on your server.
The .doc5 7or .5ls58 document is automaticall" uploaded on the user side where the local &ffice will be used to
open it.
If "ou are hosting "our application on a Cloud ser!er and if "our application is generating an E5cel$ 3ccess or
-ord document$ this feature a!oid to care about &ffice licenses on the ser!er.

This feature is a powerful one.
It allows to open on the client side e!er" websites links and websites shortcuts located on the ser!er.

power on "our ser!er.
The web address 7U)D8 is automaticall" transferred on the user side where the local default browser will be
used to open it.
