Terengganu. It is Malaysia's premier park and the largest in the country. It covers a total area of about 4,343 km 2 of primary tropical rainforest estimated to be more than 130 million years old - probably one of the oldest in the world. The park was formerly known as King George V National Park to commemorate the silver jubilee of the British monarch but after Independence in 1957, the name was changed to Taman Negara.

Gua Kota Gelanggi Explore the 150 million year old historical and mythical cave complex and its unique fauna, flora and rock formations. The magnificent cave chambers are among the best in the state of Pahang. The Kota Gelanggi Caves of Jerantut hold Neolithic sites, with no evidence of further substantial habitation beyond that period despite extensive archaeological digs in its caverns by the museums department. Visitors will be able to experience what tropical limestone caverns are all about, with their myriads stalagmites and stalactites and strangely shaped formations.

Walk across the longest Malaysian suspension bridge in the world, at 530 m. Walk across the canopy 25 m-40 m high, and view the rich and diverse flora and fauna at the summit of the forest. In August 2012 the canopy walk comes to a premature ending at around halfway the length. Expedition to Taman Negara, Pahang Fairview International School 12 Water Rafting on Tembeling River Pahang River is a river in the state of Pahang with 459 km in length, it is the longest river on the Malay Peninsula. The river begins at the confluence of Jelai river and Tembeling rivers on the Titiwangsa Mountains and drains into the South China Sea. Kuala Tembeling is the mouth of Tembeling river. Tembeling river is the main waterway into Taman Negara. It used to be the only way into Taman Negara, now there's a road leading to Taman Negara. Tembeling river is the border for Taman Negara. Explain the importance of communication in building a healthy relationship with others

15 Expedition to Taman Negara, Pahang Fairview International School Community and Service Activity in Kampung Pagi Further up the Tembeling River, there are a few vilages along the river side such Kampung Pagi, Kampung Bantal and Kuala Keniam. Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Pahang has set up a task force to embark on a Corporate Social Responsibility projects in a few areas in the state of Pahang i.e Kampung Cherok Paloh in Pekan, Kampung Sungai Temau in Lipis and Kampung Pagi in Jerantut. Among the three, Kampung Pagi is the most remote as it can only be accessed by river. Kampung Pagi is filled by its sheer beauty and serene surroundings that is so pure.
PKNP has built a hostel for the use of visitors to Kampung Pagi and also a row of shops to help spur the economy of the society. They have also initiated a program to encourage tourists to come to this wonderful place and experience its beauty and the warmth hospitality of its people.
