INTRODUCTION:
Engineers Professional Development & Welfare Society (EPDWS) is basically a Non- Profit
Society aiming for the betterment of Engineers, by focusing the professional development
through professional networking and sharing of Technical Knowledge, experiences and ideas.
The platform is organized for the Experienced & Fresher Engineers to contribute positively
towards the welfare of the society through application Engineering knowledge and practices.
OBJECTIVES:
The Society is committed to the following objectives:
To foster harmony throughout the engineering profession.
To promote the professional and economic welfare of its members.
To maintain, promote & meliorate professional standards as legally required and as
outlined in the code of ethics of the Professional Engineers.
To advance the value of the Professional & Registered Engineer and establish their
position in the industry.
To provide the strongest possible professional focus, dedicated to improving standards.
To promote the proficiency, knowledge and skill of Professional Engineers, and to
increase their usefulness to the public.
To protect and advance the interests of Professional Engineers.
ACTIVITIES:
EPDWS provides service to the construction industry through coordination efforts with various
professional organizations, industry associations and government agencies to advance and
maintain initiatives, contracts, standards, and practices of benefit to the industry as a whole.
The aim of this particular training is to create the awareness regarding the important issue of
health and safety within the engineering based projects.
