In order to get the velocity we use this formula v=d/t so we must substitute and it would be v=1/0, 67 and we end up
having 1,503 m/s

Now that I have the time I can know the height of the building by this formula

and we substitute the values

and we get d=6,946 m

We can also calculate how far from the building does the ball reaches the flour by the formula d=v.t so we substitute
the values and we get d=1, 5*1, 19 and we get d=1,79m

After measuring the actual distance we can calculate the percentage error by using this formula

Analysis:

Here are some charts that show the displacement of the ball according to the time. The first chart shows the
distance that the ball travels during 1, 19 seconds because it is the time that the ball takes to fall from the roof to the
flour. As we can see there is a curve in the graph, which shows that there is acceleration in the velocity of the ball.
This acceleration is caused by gravity.
The second chart is almost the same as the first chart because it represents the vertical displacement of the ball
during the 1, 19 seconds, but from another point of view. The second graph shows the position of the ball according
to the flour, which is not the same as the position according to the place that the ball was thrown.
The third graph shows the horizontal displacement of the ball during the time that takes the ball to land, which as
we mentioned was 1, 19 seconds. Clearly there is no acceleration in the horizontal displacement because there is not
any force that could change the horizontal speed of the ball causing it to have a constant velocity. Thats why the
distance-time graph in X has a straight line and not a curved line.
Through all of these three graphs the numbers on the X axis represent time and the numbers of the Y axis represent
the distance.
Finally the fourth chart is the mixture of the second and third graph because it shows just the displacement through
the X and Y axes of the ball. The numbers in the left show the height the ball is in meters and the numbers on the
bottom show how far from the building the ball is. So this last graph is like a drawing of the trajectory of the ball.
Each rhombus in the graph shows where is the ball every 0, 05 seconds and as we can observe the distance between
each rhombus just changes in the Y axes and that is because of gravity that changes the speed of the ball, and the
distance between each rhombus in the X axes is the same because there is no acceleration.
