The P$)**) is the first of the family and is a highly flexi'le and configura'le solution that supports the
0 !"-IF standard P$ power profiles plus an additional -0 P$-compliant profiles for a total of 1* profiles
supported 'y a single chip. This will allow designers to select the optimum power profiles in order to meet their
specific application re2uirements. !imple configuration is achieved 'y strapping the two configuration select pins
on the P$)**). ( multitude of configurations are availa'le to provide utmost flexi'ility. Integrated 2uad-'an3s
of one-time programma'le memory allow for further system customi4ation without the need of any external
memory components.
The P$)**5 family serves a wide range of applications in the consumer #e.g., note'oo3s, printers and
accessories, doc3ing stations, mo'ile devices and 'attery chargers%, industrial #computers and handheld devices%
and automotive mar3ets #e.g., head units, 'rea3-out 'oxes and !" 'attery chargers%, among others.
