About Pi Technologies
Pi Technologies an IT and Telecommunications Solutions Company was established in 2004
and officially registered and incorporated in Uganda in 2007 as a company focusing on
strengthening business and public institutions in their quest of improving their technological
solutions.
Over the years, our team of young but experienced professionals, proficient in all manner of
Internet related services and software development are have managed to offer a range of high-
end, user friendly solutions to our clients. Our team of dedicated and skilled researchers,
software developers, systems engineers, search engine specialists and content creators have
managed to produce quality products and services some of which are listed below.

NB: Not all our software products / projects have been listed as some do happen to be at rather
sensitive stages before going commercial simply waiting on investment by stake holders and
other interested investors.






Pitech Software projects

Your Right.
A windows and Android mobile phone application that provides a platform for Ugandans
can instantly search for an about the various Human rights that are enforceable the Uganda
Courts of Law. The aim of the application was to increase the peoples awareness of not only of
their rights but also the laws as a whole so as not to be caught unaware or on the wrong side of
the law
The application has a web platform from which users can access the service via browser.
The application was inspired by the widespread ignorance of the law among common Ugandan
as manifested by the various atrocities committed not only in public but also the impunity that
go unchallenged due to the victims ignorance.



African Quotes and Sayings
An application that streams quotes from a server right into the hands of the users. The
application that brings inspiration and motivation from the African Continent as a whole.
This applications inspiration stems from our desire among other things to preserve and
promote our African culture and heritage which has seen Africa thrive through the various
hardships. This app though has a financial and economic aspect to it through some advertising
that fall under the education and culture category

Pi Track
A fleet and mobile asset tracking application.

A web and Android application that helps one track their assets right from a child to vehicles.
This application main goal is to help organizations and individual identify and locate their
assets position in real time.

The application is currently as a core utilizes a combination of GPS and SMS to track the
location of a given asset as well as track the path taken by the same asset. This is information
can be stored for forensic or evidence or simply plotted on a digital map via a web browser on
issuing given queries like date and time.

Company Client Database.
A database driven application that stores details about clients as entered by the sales team.
On returning from the field, the sales team is required to make records about the clients visited
and keep a soft copy on the company database.
The information entered can later be reviewed by the person(s) in charge.
The application can give updates about upcoming events or client visits based on the made
appointment.

Kola Order
A web based application that one can use to make food orders to their favourite restaurant
in the comfort of their offices or homes and out while on the move and better yet make
payment via mobile money
The application is meant to save time and create convenience in the users day to day life.
The application is in its final stages just waiting for funding for deployment.

VIBZ
A mobile phone social Network
A mobile phone social application based on the users contacts. The application enables users to
chat via the network creating quick and secure messaging services but with a need to create
accounts and or memorize passwords.

NB: all software products and projects mentioned are available for showcasing and testing on
request. Some of the projects are awaiting funding so may not commercial yet as this writing.

Some Of The Other Projects That Pitech has worked on or Participated in include:

Britania Allied Industries
Network infrastructure upgrade involving Installation of a perimeter firewall appliance with Inter-vlan
routing, Inter-vlan access control, Network monitoring and traffic graphing. Other consultations led to
the installation of a quality mail fast and secure world class email service.

Rutungu Investments Ltd
IT consultants and support services during which work was done involving the Design and
implementation of data and information security infrastructure. This among other things included setup
of Perimeter based firewall, bandwidth monitoring and logging server plus installation of VPN services.

Fireworks Advertising ltd
We have managed to work on
IT preferred consultants on various projects including but not limited to installation of a fast, secure and
modern email service with support for mobile device integration and features like calendar
synchronization etc. plus carrying out of an IT systems and operations audit for later quarter of the year
2013.

Bukasa Telecom ltd
Long term Partners involving consultation and implementation on various projects including turnkey
telecommunication projects.

Lets Go Travel
Information security implementation involving setup of a firewall and VPN services while working for
another company at the time.

Simba Travel care
Site to Site secure communication implementation through the set up of VPN services to support multi
location business function.

Network upgrade and Private Hotspot / wireless IT support services

Sports View Hotel
Setup of network security firewall, isolation of internal network from guest wireless Lan and general
consultation on occurrence basis.

Turrets Uganda ltd
Office Network Planning, Installation of VPN server and general IT support services for the northern
Uganda Cattle theft prevention Project.
