This CD can only be read with a minimum of Adobe Acrobat(R) Reader 3.0 or later.
If you are already using Acrobat Reader 3.0, go to HOW TO USE THIS CD below. If
the Reader is not currently installed on your computer, or you are using an ear
lier version of the Reader, you can install it from this CD by following these i
nstructions:

LOADING ACROBAT READER
Load and open the CD, open the INSTALL folder, and then the relevant folder (PC
or Mac), double-click the relevant installer file for your operating system, and
follow the on-screen instructions:
Windows 9x/NT/2k/ME/XP users: double-click ar500enu.exe And follow on screen ins
tructions. (Please note, if using on a network you will need administrator right
s to install - if you do not, contact your systems administrator.)

Windows 3.1/3.11 users: double-click ar300enu.EXE
Macintosh users: double-click ACROBATR.EAD
HOW TO USE THIS CD:
Windows 9x/NT/2k/ME/XP and Macintosh users: Insert the CD, double-click on the i
con for your CD-Rom drive, then open the folder PAPERS. This contains, for each
year from 1990 to 2001 in a separate folder, the Part 3 exam paper (designated P
T3xxxx.PDF for each year), the Associate-Membership exam paper (AMxxxx.PDF for e
ach year) and the Examiners' report (EXRPxxxx.PDF for each year) double-click th
e relevant file to open. The folder TIPS features advice to Part 3 candidates (PT3advice.pdf) and reminde
r notes to Part 3 candidates (Reminder.pdf).
Windows 3.1/3.11 users: Insert the CD. In File Manager, open a directory window
for your CD-ROM drive (by clicking the letter for your CD-ROM drive in the Drive
bar) and then follow the instructions as above to open the files.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
General requirements:
Monitor capable of displaying minimum of 256 colours
Double-speed CD-ROM drive or higher
For Windows Systems:
- i386(TM), i486(TM), Pentium(R) or Pentium Pro(R) processor-based personal comp
uter (Pentium III recommended)
- Microsoft(R) Windows 9x/NT4.0/ Windows 3.1 or 3.11 or higher
- 16 MB of RAM available to Acrobat Reader (256 MB recommended)
- 20 MB of available hard disk space (5 MB for Windows 3.1/3.11; 100 MB recommen
ded)
For Macintosh and Power Macintosh systems:
- Macintosh(R) with a 68020 or greater processor, or Power Macintosh(R)
- Apple System Software version 7.0 or later (version 7.1.2 or later recommended
)
- 3.5 MB of RAM (5 MB for Power Macintosh) available to Acrobat Reader (8 MB rec
ommended)
- 12.5 MB of available hard disk space recommended
