Advantages:
The IUD provides a long-term contraceptive option.
Note:
Insertion into the uterus and regular check-ups by the
doctor, higher risk of inammation and ectopic pregnancy.
Often causes increased cramping, dizziness, and heavier,
prolonged periods.
Recommended for:
Women who have already given birth and who are
intolerant to hormones.
