This document discusses facial diagnosis, which examines facial signs and markings to determine physiological and emotional health issues. It provides several examples of facial indicators of specific diseases or conditions: puffy lower lips can indicate colon issues; lines from the outer eye corner indicate pain; earlobe lines show blood pressure irregularities. Facial coloration like redness, whiteness, darkness, and yellowing can also indicate inflammation, stagnation, toxicity, or putrefaction in related organs. The bridge of the nose is said to represent the spinal column, and skin changes there can signal back problems. Overall, the document presents the idea that facial features can provide clues to diagnose internal health conditions before medical testing.

Some Basic Tenets of Facial Diagnosis The psychological and emotional underlay of disease can be found in the Facial Maps of Life Experience and Emotions.
Many diseases are influenced by trapped fire (inflammation). This along with toxic emotions can be considered causative factors.
Trapped Fire is created by held, transferred and displaced emotions and from self- created internal wind - fire backdraft - caused by the rekindling of old issues and patterns. The emotions particularly associated with trapped fire include guilt, shame, anger, resentment and embarrassment.
The face is a holographic map of the internal organs a Biological Blueprint. These areas can be evaluated for color and markings that indicate current organ function - both emotionally and physiologically.
Organ dysfunction can often been seen from the facial signs before medical tests can validate the illness or disease therefore allowing earlier treatment.
Compromised Colon. The puffy lower lip indicates a possible weakening of of the muscles in the large intestine or Catastalsis. This can cause congestion of the colon and contribute to conditions like Diverticulitis, which would cause the lower lip line to also become red and inflamed. Pain Lines. The diagonal lines coming downward from the outer corner of the eye indicates that this man has experienced either physical or emotional pain in the recent past. Blood Pressure Irregularities. The strong line that crosses this womans earlobe shows that she has variable blood pressure either high or low or both. Inflammation of Kidneys/Bladder. There is redness in both these womens chins, which points to an inflammation of the kidneys and/or the bladder. The lines on the woman on the left indicate that this may be due to long term feelings of fear. Diagnostic Colors on the Face The markings and coloration in certain areas of the face show current functioning of the related organs. The basic colors are:
Red inflammation White Frozen Dark Stagnation Green Toxicity Yellow Putrefaction
Suwen 39:
"The five depots and six palaces, they definitely all have corresponding sections. When inspecting the five colors there, yellow and red represent heat, white represents cold, green-blue color and black represent pain. This is the so-called from inspection one can obtain insight."
Seat of the Stamp Area (Yin Tang) - The subject in this photo has multiple lines between his eyebrows. These lines indicate that although he has felt a lot of anger in the past, he now has a more healthy relationship with this emotion. However the red color shows that he currently has an inflamed liver either physically or emotionally
The second photo is a man who is temporarily experiencing liver inflammation, most likely from emotions as the underlying color is quite light.
Kidney Deficiency. The hollow and darkened under eye area and the shadow around the upper socket of this womans eye shows that that her kidneys are currently very tired. The woman in the second photo is a dialysis patient and her kidney disease can be seen in the darkness of her entire eye area. Inflammation of Kidneys/Bladder. There is redness in both these womens chins, which points to an inflammation of the kidneys and/or the bladder. The lines on the woman on the left indicate that this may be due to long term feelings of fear. The woman on the right shows more redness, which indicates it is most likely a temporary condition and most likely physical in nature. The woman on the left is showing both Adrenal and Spleen Inflammation. The redness of the lower rim of this womans eye indicates her adrenal glands are currently inflamed. This could be due to severe stress, a lack of sleep or excessive pain. Her upper eyelid is red as well showing that her spleen is inflamed, so this may involve a chronic condition.
The woman on the right is showing the condition of Spleen Dampness. The slightly puffy upper eyelid on this woman indicates that her spleen is having trouble transporting fluids, which may cause an excess of phlegm in the body or cause her to temporarily gain some weight.
The areas on either sides of the nose between the eye are quite purple indicating a problem with excessive blood sugar and this woman does have diabetes and yellow that indicates a non-functioning pancreas. If she was not being medically treated, you would see darkness on the bridge of the nose as well as in the shen of her skin. The second photo is a man who suffers from chronic hypoglycemia seen in the lightness of the color in this area.
Hologram of the Spinal Column. The bridge of the nose is considered a holographic representation of the spinal column. Any changes in the structure of the nose is said to indicate structural problems with the vertebrae, whereas changes in the skin such as very tight skin or lines can indicate muscle pulls or muscle weakness in that area of the back.
