Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any
excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Reverend Elias Wells Fitcheard, Jr.
And I will give you pastors
according to mine heart, which shall
feed you with knowledge and
understanding
Jeremiah 3:15

Reverend Elias Wells Fitcheard,
Jr., an anointed man of God, a
dynamic preacher, with more
than twenty-five years of pastoral
experience, is a native Washingtonian. He was called and
elected Pastor of Mount Salvation Baptist Church on
Thursday December 22, 2005.

Reverend Fitcheard is a man called by the Almighty God,
and is not afraid to deal with hard relevant issues. This is
evident in his sermons and his teaching as he brings the
Bible alive each Sunday and in our weekly bible study
classes.

His visionary and leadership skills have been a blessing
to the membership of Mount Salvation Baptist Church. He
has been empowered by the Holy Spirit to meet the
challenges that have been commissioned by our Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ. Reverend Fitcheard has experience
in counseling.

He served as an Associate Minister at Mount Sinai Baptist
Church in Washington, D.C., where he was licensed and
ordained. He was an Assistant Minister at Corinthian
Baptist Church also in Washington, D.C. During his five
year tenure, he taught Sunday School and week night
bible classes. He was instrumental in the success of
evangelism and outreach ministries of the church.

Reverend Fitcheard served as a board member for Lorton
Penitentiary, where he created a weekly bible study and
prayer service. Among his many pastoral experiences,
Pastor Fitcheard served as president of the Northern Neck
Sunday School Union and the Gospel Mix Community
Choir. He organized new programs for church ministries
and developed new training programs for the Board of
Deacons.

Reverend Fitcheard has an Associate of Arts Degree in
Radiology from the University of Washington, D.C. and
more than thirty-eight years of experience in the field of
Radiology. He is employed at Mount Vernon Hospital in
the MRI Department. Reverend Fitcheard is presently
pursuing his Bachelors of Theology Degree from
Andersonville Baptist Seminary. He has completed class
work in Pastoral Science at Washington Bible College.

Reverend Fitcheard resides in Accokeek, Maryland with
his wife, Deaconess Linda Goode Fitcheard. He is the
proud father of two daughters and the grandfather of
three, one girl and two boys.

Reverend Dexter U. Nutall
Reverend Dexter U. Nutall was born
in Washington, D.C. He comes from
a lineage of pastors, preachers, and
evangelists and he continues to be
blessed with opportunities to share
his gifts as a preacher, teacher,
vocalist, and musician within the
body of Christ. His writings and
sermons have been published in
several notable publications
including the African American
Pulpit as well as the African American Lectionary. Pastor
Nutall also serves as the Director of Religious Affairs to
Mayor Vincent Gray and the District of Columbia having
been appointed in August 2011.
Since birth, Reverend Nutall has been part of the New
Bethel Baptist Church family. As an adolescent, he was a
frequent speaker at numerous churches and civic events
in and beyond the D.C. area. He formally acknowledged
God's call on his life when he preached his initial sermon,
"Don't Be No Fool," in the summer of 2000 at NBBC.
Shortly thereafter, Reverend Nutall and his family
relocated to Richmond, VA to accelerate his preparation
for ministry at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of
Theology at Virginia Union University. While in Richmond,
he was invited to join the ministerial staff of Riverview
Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Reverend Stephen
L. Hewlett where he was ordained in 2005.
Reverend Nutall holds a Master of Divinity Degree from
Virginia Union. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in
Psychology from Mt. St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg,
MD and a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University
School of Law. In Reverend Nutalls first career as an
attorney in DC, MD, and VA, he worked for the Supreme
Court of VA, the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, the United
States Senate, and the law firm of Reed Smith LLP.
Reverend Nutalls pivotal ministry experience came in
serving as New Bethels Supply Pastor from January
through June 2006. Under his leadership, NBBC was
blessed with financial, spiritual, and numeric growth. This
experience served as the launching pad for Reverend
Nutalls pastoral ministry. In March 2009, the congregation
of New Bethel Baptist Church overwhelmingly confirmed
Gods call for Reverend Nutall to become the fourth Pastor
in New Bethel Baptist Churchs rich history. Reverend
Nutall is married to the former Ms. Tracy Brinkley. They
have two wonderful daughters, Chandler Renee and Jaida
McKenzie.
Pastor Nutall is forever grateful to his wife, his parents and
family, his church, and a host of mentors and supporters.
He attributes any accomplishments or accolades he might
receive to them, and most of all, to a loving Father in
Heaven who time and time again, overlooks his faults and
continues to bless far beyond anything he deserves.
