COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This foundational course (LBYBUS1 COMPUTER APPLICATIONS 1 FOR BUSINESS
MANAGEMENT) is for business students to be introduced to the basic computer concepts. This
course is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of Information Technology
(IT) and its importance to the business environment. This course also introduces the students to
the use of Office Automation Systems, specifically Microsoft Office, and the Internet. This
course will allow the students to work with proficiency with word processing, presentation,
spreadsheets, and Internet tools.

LO4 :Create a high quality written report
using tools and features of Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Publisher
using the information gathered.

LO5: Present reports using Microsoft
Powerpoint and Flash.

LO6: Design a webpage for the chosen
business organization


FINAL COURSE OUTPUT:
As evidence of attaining the above learning outcomes, the student is required to do and submit
