Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) by using the Careers link in the
website www.rubberboard.org.in are invited from eligible candidates for direct
recruitment to the following seven posts in the Rubber Board by 02.04.2013.

Post Code No.2013-01-01
Dy. Director (Human Resource Development Training) - One vacancy (UR).
Scale of pay: Rs.15600-39100 (PB3) Grade Pay Rs.6600/-. Age: 50 years.
Qualifications: Essential: 1) Bachelors degree in any discipline from a
recognised University and Postgraduate Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Human
Resource Development/Management or Personnel Management of a recognised
University OR Postgraduate Degree in Engineering/Management with
specialisation in Human Resource Development or Personnel Management of a
recognised University. 2) Five years experience in Personnel Management/
Human Resource Development/ Administration in Government/Autonomous
Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings in the Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-. Desirable:
1) Experience in managing training establishments. 2) Doctorate degree in any
of the above subjects.

Dy. Director (Law) - One vacancy (UR). Scale of pay: Rs.15600-39100 (PB3)
Grade Pay Rs.6600/-. Age: 50 years. Qualifications: Essential: (1) Bachelors
Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent. (2) Ten years
experience as legal practitioner or as a member of a State Judicial Service or in a
responsible position in the Legal Department of the State or as an officer dealing
with legal affairs in the Central Govt or Statutory Body. This post is suitable for
physically challenged persons with disability viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped
with One Leg Affected (OL) or One Arm Affected (OA).

Documentation Officer - One vacancy (UR). Scale of pay: Rs.15600-39100
(PB3) Grade Pay Rs.5400/-. Age: 40 years. Qualifications: Essential:
(1) Bachelors degree in any subject preferably in Science from a recognised
University or institution. (2) Masters degree or equivalent postgraduate
qualification in Library and Information Science of a recognised University or
institution. (3) Five years experience as Head of a Library or Seven years
experience as Assistant Librarian or Ten years experience in a library with high
standing, preferably in a Research Institute/University. Desirable: Training in
Documentation.

Asst. Engineer (Civil) - One vacancy (SC). Scale of pay: Rs.9300-34800 (PB2)
Grade Pay Rs.4600/-. Age: 35 years. Qualifications: Essential:1) BE/B.Tech in
Civil Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. 2) Three years
experience in civil works in Government Dept./Statutory Bodies/Public Sector
Undertakings/ Public/Private Limited Companies.

Field Officer - 20 vacancies (UR-10, OBC-3, SC-3, ST-4). Scale of pay:
Rs.9300-34800 (PB2) Grade Pay Rs.4200/-. Age: 27 years. Qualifications:
Essential: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Master's degree in Botany from a
recognised University or equivalent. Place of posting: North Eastern Region
(Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and
Missoram). The candidates applying for NE Region should attend the
test/interview at Guwahati / Agartala.

Field Officer - 20 vacancies (UR-10, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-2). Scale of pay:
Rs.9300-34800 (PB2) Grade Pay Rs.4200/-. Age: 27 years. Qualifications:
Essential: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Master's degree in Botany from a
recognised University or equivalent. Place of posting: Other than North
Eastern Region.

Candidates applying for the post of Field Officer shall opt either for
NE Region (Post Code No. 2013-01-05) or other than NE region (Post Code
No. 2013-01-06) only and not for both.

Post Code No.2013-01-07

Bearer 15 vacancies (UR-9, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1) (out of this one vacancy is
reserved for Ex-serviceman). Scale of pay: Rs.5200-20200 (PB1) with Grade
Pay Rs.1800/-. Age: 27 years. Qualifications: Essential:1) Pass in SSLC or
equivalent 2) Pass in a certificate course in Cooking/ Housekeeping/ Hospitality
from Government/ recognized institutes.

All the above posts carry liability to serve anywhere in India.

Age limits will be reckoned as on 02.04.2013. Age limit is not applicable to
inservice candidates. Maximum age is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST and
upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen and other categories as per rules. For the post
of Dy. Director (Law) (Post Code No. 2013-01-02) age is relaxable for 5 years for
persons with disabilities.

All the posts carry Dearness Allowance and other benefits as applicable to
Central Government Employees. The number of vacancies indicated above are
provisional and the same may vary depending on the actual requirement. The
Board reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts. The Board also
reserves the right to short-list for interview only the optimum number of most
eligible candidates from applicants possessing the requisite qualifications.

Candidates must apply online using the Careers link in the website
www.rubberboard.org.in Closing date for submission of Online Recruitment
Application (ORA) through ORA website is 23:59 Hrs on 02.04.2013 after which
the link will be disabled. Applications received from candidates through any
other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

Detailed instructions are provided in the website. Candidates are requested
to register online using a valid e-mail address and password. Candidates are
also requested to take out a print of the finally submitted Online Recruitment
Application (ORA) through ORA website as the same alongwith specified
documents/ certificates will have to be submitted at the time of interview.
Call letter for test/interview would be mailed to the registered e-mail address or
can be downloaded from the ORA website. Candidates employed in Govt.
service/ Autonomous bodies/Govt. undertakings should submit No Objection
Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview.

Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Government strives to have
a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are
encouraged to apply.
