The Indoor Program provides several op-
tions as well. The Core Curriculum has
been developed and refined over the last
20 years and combines essential skill-
building techniques with lessons and
subject matter that are tailored to the
interests of each specific age group.
Students can also learn the essential
skills of drawing and painting while
participating in one of this year's special
courses: the "2014 Popular Character
Course" (featuring student's favorite
cartoon, video game, anime and comic
book characters), "Clay creatures"
(sculpting animals ), "Wild-life in Pastel"
(students use special pastel techniques
to render realistic wild-life and the
"Framable Picture" (students render a
"Thomas Kinkaid-like" image in pastels
with results so nice you'll want to hang it
in a frame!)
For adults who would like to learn artistic
skills, the "Adult Curriculum" offers
training in drawing, composition and
color theory as well as watercolor, pastel,
oil, and pen & ink.
Finally, Teens 15 and up can start
preparing for Art College with our
"Portfolio Prep Program"!
