The company :
Since 1996, the year of its foundation, MICROCOMPUTER has always worked in the organization of
numerical and graphic informations for complex structures, with particular emphasis on those relating to
buildings.
From this experience we have developed a number of strategies, methods and tools of organization that
are particularly effective and efficient in every phase of work on the technical, strategic and infrastructural
objects. We propose solutions for the organization of objects with particular attention to issues related to
the building.
The philosophy of work that we propose has always been object-oriented (Intelligent Objects) and has
followed the evolution of business needs by defining a platform for sharing and supervision that would
also take account of the many processes that occurs daily.
In the technology of the Intelligent Object, objects are structured in such a way that they correspond to
the norms of OOP (Object Oriented Programming Class based Programming Model).
The idea that has always inspired our work is the simplicity of the creation, organization, management,
control and information sharing, implemented in the technology "Intelligent Objects" fundamental of all
our products. The central element of this evolution is X-BIM, intelligent container of objects and
processes, point of collection and exchange, based as decision support.
Development overview :
The purpose of the Intelligent Objects is the construction of a collaborative system simple and effective,
establishing milestones for verification.
The first objective is the virtual construction of the building, which can be performed research and
analysis that make decisions result of construction, organization and management.
Another fundamental aspect is to be able to collect information once at the time of their creation
and by then so that they are used, improved and increased throughout the cycle.
Third important goal is to be able to integrate the data enrichment process in general and
maintenance work, ensuring that these are separate processes that "add" efforts to people who deal
with it.
Last major aim is to ensure that the detailed information can be grouped into a summary overview

Our teamwork :
The integration of the dialogue is :
Communicable: the information and object structures are exchanged by and between the various
members of a working group;
Coherent: each object has been constructed by a competent member of the working group
after taking into account all the structural and non-structural information available
about the other objects as well as the work-in-progress of the model;
Consistent: the data are constantly updated and validated by a specific "admission" function
that grants access to the shared database;
Computable: the objects are computable, subject to verification, control and analysis procedures;
Collaborative: they serve as starting point for the exchange of information between users who are
involved in different aspects of the BIM model construction;
Controlled and processed: they undergo validation, documentation, revision, editing and control
procedures.
Connected: the objects are connected with each other (and thereby generate structures) as
well as with other archives that can be consulted following a standard procedure;
this enables you to have a single and centralized information display.
Languages: global collaboration in different languages :
disponible : in work:
X-BIM, X-CAD4D and X-MODELLER for AutoCAD are STAND ALONE applications that provide CAD
platform in the power of technology Intelligent Objects in a natural way without changing the working
methods, but enlarging the potential, collecting and structuring information in the moment in which
these are designed.
This means that it supports planners in the creation of intelligent objects directly within their own
drawings, thereby reducing the risk of miscommunication and misunderstanding of the graphics and
increasing the reliability, completeness and uniformity of information with no additional effort.
The planner's "intelligent" drawings are fed into X-BIM4D. By means of a simple verification tool, the
latter can then check the data and verify the changes and work-in-progress by inserting objects and
structures into the model that will make up the common knowledge base shared by the members of
the team.
Our system has been devised as a tool for team work since it resolves the differences between various
sources of information, i. e. integrates data processed by different users that avail themselves of
different skills, different information systems, different CAD, different working methods.

"The concept of BIM, Building Information Modeling, covers surveyors, spatial relationships, geographic
information. BIM can be used to demonstrate the entire cycle vita di a building, including the process of
construction and operations management.
The concept of BIM is based on families, types and parameters.
Our technology "Intelligent Objects" allows the creation of a BIM in which graphic objects are loosely
organized and supervised.
The satellites of X-BIM4D, X-CAD4D and even X-MODELLER for AutoCAD) are the cornerstone of BIM solutions
and acts as the capture and exchange of objects.
An important characteristic of each satellite is to be an independent extension that allows easy work on the
objects. Disconnected but keeping the philosophy and modus operandi of the entire solution for collaboration
with X-BIM4D.
Object oriented applications are:
Simple: derives from a logic of object-oriented approach and a very intuitive interface
Adaptable: a different reality: can 'be included as a means of
organizing the "objects and grow over time adapting to changing needs.
Standard: the point of collection and a consultation center for
information and documents, also belonging to different systems. Has an integrated CAD
system for viewing and editing graphic data. Works with native DWG.
Customizable: objects in every aspect of the structure, classification, documents and processes. Each item is
the result of a user choice.
Extensible: possibility of extending the basic solution with specific
applications created to facilitate data collection, integration, or more generally, from standard
applications such as AutoCAD and Excel
The proposed integration platform is based on the idea that each planner o building manager wishes in
principle to use his / her own planning concepts, the contents of which however can hardly be transferred
integrally with the means available at present.
Intelligent objects as Teamwork Components should enable the planner to express him/herself at his/her
best in the documents he/she draws up, so as to make information comprehensively and exhaustively
accessible in the dialogue with third parties.

Intelligent Objects 1
The proposed work concept is based on intelligent objects (wherein objects are seen not only as static
elements but also as live dynamic units). They can display and process the planning documents produced with
various technical applications on a common platform.
This platform therefore develops into an organizational instrument that allows these objects and the relevant
work processes to be collectively used and controlled.
The technology
This technology allows planners to efficiently organize their work under various technical applications with
simple and intelligent objects. This organization consists of objects of various types with properties, impact
areas, usage, technical information and data that are typical for their respective life cycle.
Objects are considered to be intelligent when they:
are logically generated, i.e. they represent knowledge-transferring information in graphical and numerical
format. This data can be displayed in different typologies and categories;
are structured, i.e. they allow, through their hierarchical representation, simple consideration and evaluation
processes;
have a relationship, i.e. they are interrelated;
are dynamic, i.e. they represent a part of the work process and as such undergo changes in time;
are the objective of a process such as planning, construction or calculation, or are considered to be the point
of origin for other processes such as reviews, changes or other conditions;
are freely configurable: user can add new data at any time;
are not bound to a specific technical application: information about the objects is available for all technical
applications;
they foresee the use of parametrical data in a future version.
The intelligent object technology is based on the BIM 5 C concept:
Communicable
Co-ordinable
Compatible
Collaborative
Consistent
A BIM Concept must have work processes as logical end product. Hence BIM is seen here as an organizational
platform and not only as a software application. The planning process is only a forerunner of execution processes
and maintains only supervision functions during the construction phase.
The X-BIM Platform contains and enables these work processes, which are represented by the possibility of
enhancing the knowledge content of the objects.
The platform offer the possibility to be Well organized, with an intuitive understandebil presentation,
reasonable clear in pronouncement and furthermore expandable with specific process knowledge annotations.
It is the basic component for teamwork and avoid significant redundancy and ambiguity.

Properties and values
Each object represents the instance of a class, irrespective of whether an area, a person, a work process. The
project has a worldwide unique code and its attribute structure is clearly defined by its class belongingness.
Object contains a package of the values of its propertiesObjects are organized in a free configurable
hierarchical structure and correspond exactly to the real agenda, which the user uses during his planning
activities.
This free structure organization contains the physical and logical objects of its class models. Mapping of the
BIM Model is instantaneously created, a Photography corresponding to the individual personal perspective,
which allows the execution of the processes such as planning and construction, analysis, management and
maintenance. Furthermore the structure allows the creation and processing of non-physical objects and
hence an even greater personalization.
To complete the static structure, documents of various types are assigned, so as to enable a comprehensive
and better information compilation in relation with the objects.
X-BIM4D tries to map this life cycle correctly by using the objects defined in the work process (instance
WORKPROCESS) according to the personally created procedures of the class.
The basic concept OBJECT ORIENTED is contained in the X-BIM4D persistently till the interfaces. Intelligent
Object is the starting point for the structure configuration, connection to the allocated documents, target of
the work processes, remarks and any type of data used for the integration.
Intelligent Objects contains:
properties:
fixed attributes, free attributes, simple and
complex formulae thematically classified
according to their categories.
graphical properties:
graphical representation in the X-BIM4D is an
accumulation of properties such as form of the
objects, layer, color, scope or its MIN-MAX box.
These data are saved in XML format in the
database and enable use in Crossform
irrespective of the native version. The CAD
graphics available in X-BIM4D enables 3-
dimensional views. In addition, it makes possible
a general overview and changes within a
drawing.
linked structures:
combination of the reports according to free
choice
documents:
access to the documents allocated to the objects
work processes:
view of the completed or ongoing object-related
processes
remarks:
various remarks, defects which are assigned to
an object; a control which primarily enables
documentation for subsequent action.

("Subclasses" are more specialized versions of a class, which inherit attributes and behaviors from their
parent classes, and can introduce their own. In this model, objects are entities that combine state (i.e.,
data), behavior (i.e., procedures, or methods) and identity (unique existence among all other objects).
The structure and behavior of an object are defined by a class, which is a definition, or blueprint, of all
objects of a specific type. An object must be explicitly created based on a class and an object thus
created is considered to be an instance of that class.)

Object classes
Classes refer to the abstract attributes of objects with their specific attributes.
The Classes refer to the modularity and structure of the model.
Object classes divide into a of simple basic models in the X-BIM4D:
Physical objects
Logical objects
Static objects
Dynamic objects
Simple objects have a physical reference:
Area : Rooms, structure, building, building groups, used area, cadastral area. Safety zones, etc..
Connections:Pilotage, components, Network, logical connections between two or more objects
Objects :Walls, ceilings, doors, windows, safety objects, central-heating boiler, heater, furniture,
sanitation equipment, etc.
Personnel :Employees, technicians, managers, etc..
Other logical resources are concomitantly available:
Unit:Enables the concept of the folder or other homogeneous combinations of the physical-
logical groups. They are used to manage fragmentation or classification such as regions, states,
zones or objects belonging to a logical group
Annotations:Examples of annotations are: change requests, defects, visits, checks, etc... They
allow the use of organized yellow sheet for any objects and to track them. They may have a
graphical representation.
In the Intelligent Object technology, objects are structured in such a way that they correspond to the
norms of OOP (Object Oriented Programming Class based Programming Model).

Properties Attribute
Metadata in their classes are the combination of the attributes and properties and they describe the
respective characteristics. Attributes are grouped in categories.
Each class has 3 types of basic attributes:
FIXED ATTRIBUTES are identification, name, code, index, and generation and modification date. These are
unique fixed attributes of a system and cannot be changed via the graphical interface.
GRAPHICAL : describes the graphic properties of the objects. These are Form, Scope, MIN-MAX box, Layer,
Zone, etc.
Common reference to other objects, documents or objects with the work processes, etc.
Comprehensive configurations correspond to FREE ATTRIBUTES, which provide the user with each respective
possibility of personalization. These are classified as follows:
Extended properties such as material, color, model, generation date, technical properties, etc.
Simple formulae that can carry out additional calculations
Complex formulae, which can carry out defined object specific operations. These formulae are the rules,
which have the business logic of objects similar to the Stored procedure in a relational database.
Connection to other databases: for the alignment, identification of values or for creation of the special
formulae.

The INTELLIGENT OBJECTS Backbone
Intelligent objects represent the backbone and knowledge content for the construction site...
These are enclosed in a spiral of work processes which provide the enhancements and changes and also the
information on individual technical applications, enabling control and a comprehensive survey of the
construction site.
Simple planning of the objects and corresponding data is required at the time of their creation, so as to
enhance and accumulate the data by using various work cycles.
Hence transparent data is required, which enables:
simple generation of intelligent object models
planning and generation of the work processes, which is possible from the simple object models
simple overview of data for the user which enables a simple data transfer
1. Generic BIM model is a model that provides an
organized outline of all the objects and operations -
processes in place, is the collection of knowledge and
the base of operations analysis.
2. View process consists of: the data are aggregated for
purpose: systems, structures, areas, objects.
3. View specific task: the data is aggregated in a more
detailed in order to organize specific processes:
energy analysis of the building, equipment
maintenance, space management and uses.
1. Single object: it is the smallest unit of data exchange:
a "smart object". The object must be readable and
understandable and to be uniquely identified during
its lifetime.
The Backbone with its intelligent objects is structured in 4 steps for various processes :

The role of data collector / retriever of intelligent objects is not the only property of the X-CAD4D plug-in.
It is basically the TEAMWORK COMPONENT that enables complete data exchange with the X-BIM4D platform
and other X-CAD4D Users. Connection consists of just 2 simple functions: direct import and export of the
drawing.
The X-BIM4D import function reads the structure shown in the drawing which has been created in X-CAD4D
and, with the help of a wizard, links it stepwise and under control with the basic BIM structure. This aspect is
very important since it ensures compliance with the BIM Philosophy of an information system that grows
through the contribution of various participants.
This procedure for increase of the structure and its information volume, is implemented by a control
instrument that makes clear and identifiable which object has been transferred during import, which object
has been modified or which object should be discarded.
However teamwork does not mean merely the insertion, but more important the exchange of information, i.e.
the return and forwarding of the information extension in the cycle of the respective working processes.
The BIM platform also enables export of the enhanced physical and logical objects directly to the drawing,
which can be read and used by X-CAD4D.
In this way, the object communication circle closes within a working group. Information is forwarded,
processed, modified in a simple, object-related form and is enhanced for the various subsequent working
processes

Analysis, search and reports :
X-CAD4D makes the drawing available to the search function, generates the list and enables graphical marking
in the drawing.
X-BIM4D makes the entire database available to the objects. Results refer to the model, which can be available
in various drawings. Selection possibilities are manifold; through the controlled single or Multi-Edit
hierarchies, or through the graphical displays and marking and also by generating the reports.
The Object-Oriented concept of the platform is also contained in the modules. This is done through various
model concepts of the search functions and reports. They enable reuse with the help of different or enhanced
data queries.
The Report Module is especially articulated as it shows only a summary: produced by a graphical table
generator. The display of the object selection and its summary is defined with or without the graphics,
attributes and enclosures, depending on the search procedure. The model of this report is saved in XML
format for further processing
Comprehensive analysis for the entire reporting
system is provided in X-BIM4D through the
search functions and reports.
Search functions are the fixed components of the
core structure of "Intelligent Objects"
Technology. They are mapped in an object-
oriented query structure and enable
coordinated search by using various object types
and their properties.
The result of a search is a combination of objects
which are more or less connected, but the
properties of which correspond to the search
specifications.

Objects becomes work processes
The model of the objects in X-BIM4D contains static as well as dynamic objects and enables a logical transfer
to the following work processes; which change the information content and structure through conditions and
actions. Work processes are generally hard coded in the respective Business Logic of the application.
This to allow for the implementation of specific solutions, e.g. maintenance, quality control, room booking,
time-conditioned installation or execution instructions and cleanings etc. Work processes represent another
(shell) level in the objects of the BIM models and are therefore also important for the assessment of the work
phase planning.
Differences in the work processes, which are initiated by the individual technical
applications, are aligned in BIM over the mutually understandable, flexible and simple model structure.

The "Intelligent Objects" Technology implements the processes by using the following properties:
Implementation rules that apply to the object to be processed. The class of a process represents its procedure
as per the quality control guidelines.
Component:
The representation of a process design contains various phases that can be freely defined as
properties and specific conditions.
Scheme:
Timely guidelines are given in the process classes without taking into account the individual
implementation techniques.
Uniqueness :
Each process is an instance of its class; it always differs from other processes but is, at the same
time, clearly identifiable.
Similarity:
Process are relevantly assigned to one or more objects of the BIM Models on the basis of their
properties and thus represent a temporary relation between different objects in different contexts
of the hierarchy.
Documentation:
Each work process can be documented by the interface of the
class "Documents, furnished with photos, forms, contracts, manuals, fax, etc
.
End users, who work with the "Intelligent Objects" technology, directly or through the plug-in, use this
concept for creating their own processes. Hence, they conform to and clearly demonstrate the value of

Efforts to establish with the X-BIM4D a neutral platform which adapts to the changing technical
requirements have resulted in completely new development possibilities for the display and control of
work processes. One of the prerequisites is provided by the attributes of simple or complex formula. These
enable the user to use his / her own work parameters.
These "calculated attributes" borrow the concept of the Excel work sheets, though in this case the input
values are not only the fields but also the classes, attributes or objects of the structure. The natural
subsequent step is to define the indexes, i. e. of the functions which make it possible to enter data
whenever the status of a process changes.
This simple operation consists in editing the entries of the object properties in order to create new objects
or in adding parameters from external applications.
From beginning to end, the system makes sure that a complete knowledge content is assigned to a work
process and it does not merely represent a descriptive picture, but becomes an active component of the
BIM Structure.

The concept of BIM, Building Information Modeling, covers surveyors, spatial
relationships, geographic information, quantities and properties of the components of
a building.
BIM can be used to describe the life cycle of a building, including the process of construction and operations

the creation of a BIM in which graphic objects are free organized and supervised.
The proposed integration platform is based on the idea that each planner or building manager wishes in

A global view
X-BIM4D
Intelligent Objects Technology and X-BIM4D (Think global)
X-BIM4D (Platform Concept) contains geometry, spatial connections, geographical information and also
building characteristics. It describes the entire life cycle of the work:
PLAN BUILD USE
The Platform enables Intelligent Objects from various technical applications to carry out work processes in
an organized, controlled manner.
The objective of the platform is to generate a virtual building model to enable the organization of the
generation process for any subsequent work and also to control the sequential work processes in the
planning, construction and utilization stages.
The user is informed about all planning conditions in each of the work phases and automatically receives
additional information from the respective technical applications.
X-BIM4D, as a neutral Integration platform, enables the planners to use their intelligent objects for the data
exchange with various Technical applications as well as to carry out object- and process-oriented functions
and also to work within a network.
The goal of X-BIM4D is the optimization of data flow, and of subsequent value-added processes enacted between
individual planners. X-BIM4D is a graphically independent system, which can transfer complex data structures from
other applications with the help of its Data capturing satellite X-CAD4D.
Today, intelligent and comprehensive data exchange between planners is only conditionally possible and is
especially confined to the transfer of graphical representations. More than 90% of all exchange processes are
managed worldwide by the DXF and DWG Autodesk Standards. Other systems are used exclusively between
proprietary applications.
At the moment, the most widely used transfer means for data exchange is DWGS STANDARD , as said.
The proposed integration platform is based on the idea that each planner wishes in principle to use his / her own
planning concepts, the contents of which however can hardly be transferred integrally with the means available at
present.
Intelligent objects such as Teamwork Components enable the planner to best express him/herself in the
documents drawn up, making information completely accessible in the dialogue with third parties.
All planned objects and subsequent process-oriented actions are intuitive for each respective planner. Hence only
simple, intuitive program functions can enable the planner to transfer data and the knowledge behind the
graphical representation.
This specific knowledge content is available in connection with all planning processes but cannot be
comprehensively transferred in a simple form. This is done in X-BIM by using intelligent objects which can be
structured in a simple manner. The knowledge content available through such intelligent objects only requires, in
order to be transferred, a generally used means of transportation (presently DXF-DWG).

BASIC-BIM4D
The aims of BASIC BIM4D are extremely simple:
The Platform enables Intelligent Objects from various technical applications to carry out work processes in
an organized, controlled manner.
The objectives of the platform are the following:
to generate a virtual building model so that a detailed prior analysis and decisions can be made at an
earlier stage, with minimal cost and risk for the physical building;
to collect all information when created and act on how it is used, updated, upgraded, passed through
the all work cycle. and avoid significant redundancy and ambiguity
to enrich and maintain data as an overall unique basic process, not as a separate extra work task;
to group, analyze, summarize in a general view, all detailed info.
A Building Information Model requires a disciplined and transparent data structure that enables:
the creation of specific processes based on a number of objects in the model;
simple data visualization / monitoring by users;
an information exchange mechanism.
The life cycle is hardly linear only; more often than not, it is a cyclic process of knowledge build-up with
distribution of targeted information.
The objects that are being shared on the "Intelligent Objects" platform are the backbone of the building, the
basis of knowledge. Around that backbone, there is an "ellipse" of processes that create, update and edit
objects, with other surrounding applications that provide information and, integrate and retrieve data to allow
assessment.

Information enhancement :
of the Pure graphical representations of the objects with the knowledge content that the planner
wants to impart for better understanding of his planning proposal.
Creation of a priority ranking :
(Structure) in its drawings, as per the free priority ranking or by using the topological analysis of the
drawing, i.e. an object, found in the restricted area, is added according to its priority ranking
Structuring of the object information :
is done through the classes. Prototypes are always requested as the samples for standardization of the
graphical designs (e.g. standardization in layers, colors, styles, etc.). For planning construction sites,
homogeneous, unique of single sites is needed by planners. This is imparted by using the classes of
Intelligent Objects. Individual objects can thus be of prototype class, which allows creation of objects and
their subsequent properties. For builders with various suppliers and customers, uniquely structured
information is available, which can be used in subsequent work processes according to the individual
requirements.
Insertion of logical objects :The draft and finished drawing can also be enhanced by using elements which are
displayed non-graphicay and that show the logical relationships between the objects. These logical
objects are added to the BIM structure of the drawing and have a logical but no graphical reference.
Objects of the class Unit- Container are primarily the containers or summary (e.g. for displaying the
logical umbrella terms such as Work place ). The annotation models the concepts that remarks,
arrangements according to the schedule, control, defects or modifications, refer to. The possibility of
enhancing the drawing by adding logical objects lets the drawing itself be used in various execution
processes, and much more informatively.
Consultation / changes of object groups:
The data of individual objects my be insufficiently meaningful and there is a need for a comparison ,
for term standardization, or control of the behavior properties.
BASIC OBJECTS enables a query on type similarity through simple tables, summaries, filters, total
formation and also by generating these tables in the drawing; this contributes to the creation of a
comprehensive information platform.
Searches: Complex drawings, with many objects, are available to graphic and numeric filters with the help
of a simple and freely configurable query Engine.
Graphical and numeric correlation: Graphical aspects and data are closely interrelated. Some graphical
information such as areas, lengths, entry points, etc. is considered as system attribute of Intelligent
Objects. Hence this data is partly or fully visible in the drawing and is aligned by the system. Another
important aspect is the possibility of display, which is required in various work phases, such as
changes, review or execution processes. This can be shown us in special colour patterns or borders in
the drawing.
Information within the drawing:
structured data capture in the BASIC OBJECTS is done within the drawing and hence does not need
any synchronization via complex connections. The drawing is considered here as the complete
database of the intelligent objects and can be read in all CAD systems equipped with the X-CAD4D
plug-in.

The "Intelligent Object Library "
Intelligent objects technology enables simple structuring of an object in classes with properties and
relationships.. Each class or category is assigned to a graphical display. Many BIM objects have different
graphical displays (2D 3D), but are not differentiated in their properties but only in their input modes (blocks,
macros, symbols).
Though they partly possess the attributes, the automatic generation of hierarchy, classes, categories, complex
attributes and dependencies is impossible. In "Intelligent Objects" Technology however, this is possible
because each graphical display of object is transferred through by simple Drag-Drop to the hierarchically
structured IO Library. Thus the IO library ensures the structure summary of all the graphical displays.
Graphical and numeric information is found in a series of libraries which can be used in a project-specific or
standard manner.
Project-specific objects can be transferred to the BIM Standard library; even BIM standards are used in object-
specific projects.
The strength of an element of the
library is defined through the classes,
categories and properties in graphic
and numeric form and is clearly
identified by simple Drag-and-Drop
in the drawing or structured Plan Browser.
Theme-organized libraries enable a comprehensive overview of the object families with their graphical
and numeric content. Such libraries are more than just symbol libraries, they are object libraries.
These object libraries are of interest to the construction industry, for companies that create physical
buildings. Such companies can make their catalogues available to customers via the BIM Platform,
describing not only graphic aspects but also the technical content and its properties. It is also
possible to update data such as product codes, prices, delivery terms, new installation descriptions
etc, all available over the Internet.

BASIC-BIM Developer
X-BIM Developer : programmability aspects
The technology of the intelligent objects on the BIM Platform is based on logical hierarchies and it offers an
obvious and clear access possibility to each respective level. Three conceptual levels and a Special extra are
available for generating the specific modules, which can enhance the existing platform of the system.
All the applications can be enhanced through access to the basic BIM Data, which do not belong to the normal
scope or properties of the objects, e.g. by inserting commercial tables, statistics or references to OLAP CUBE, etc.
A program structure which captures the source data of the X-BIM only for specific reasons is also to be adopted.
The intelligent objects technology is based on the ".NET" framework, which is accessible to other applications in
MFC and .NET, though not for applications outside the WINDOWS environment.
The first programming level is the simplest, enabling generation of a module to enhance the X-BIM
application. It concerns the PLUG-IN, which can integrate other Toolbar elements in its own graphical
interface to ensure a simple and unique work surface. This high level of integration is available for
all elements of the intelligent objects and access components for the object-oriented data structure,
such as schemes for the graphical interface. The PLUG -IN solution has been devised for specific
functions that enable generation of predetermined or ad-hoc processes. The X-BIM Platform can
therefore be verticalized to cover special requirements in the technical areas, by adhering to its basic
structure.
The second level is the creation of applications, independent of X-BIM, by using the intelligent objects
technology for data access and visualization. Such autonomous applications aim to display only the
technical part areas with special properties and to add specific business logic and automatics.. They
apply to procedures which are not handled manually or neutrally in the BIM objects, but are structured
to enable detailed functions.
The third level is for applications which need only the "Intelligent Objects" technology codes, access to data,
object summaries and to the organization structure. Such applications, with a "Property Interface" for
visualization of the object data of a special environment, are specifically defined for the work
processes to be executed The third level is for applications which need only the "Intelligent Objects"
technology codes, access to data, object summaries and to the organization structure. Such
applications, with a "Property Interface" for visualization of the object data of a special environment,
are specifically defined for the work processes to be executed.\
The programmability of the system can be represented in three levels, plus some special "extra" for special data.
