Our trip was absolutely beautiful and I can't thank you enough for creating such a special place

MAGNIFICENT VENUES
The most popular spot to exchange vows is on our private lake, on a floating
platform decorated with tropical flowers surrounded by a majestic backdrop of
primary rainforest. Meanwhile your friends and family enjoy your ceremony sitting
beneath our modern, open-air covered pavilion on the waters edge which doubles
as the reception space after your wedding ceremony.

If you wish to have a volcano backdrop in your wedding photos (weather
dependent, and uncontrollable) we can arrange wedding ceremonies on el
Mirador, our vista point with views of Arenal Volcano & Lake Arenal.
CREATURE COMFORTS
Our deluxe rainforest bungalows sit nestled into the mountainside surrounded by
foliage and wildlife, all of which you can enjoy every day from your private wrap-
around terrace. Additional accommodations are also available in our bunkhouse.
FANTASTIC FOOD
Our professional chefs and staff offer full catering service with a menu featuring
farm-to-table products from Rancho Margot. Each day of your stay you will enjoy
farm fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner which are always served buffet-style. For
your wedding reception, we can organize a private wedding dinner at our lakeside
platform that will tantalize the tastebuds of your guests.
LUSH LANDSCAPE
We pride ourselves on using our lands natural beauty to set the scene for your
wedding. From bridal bouquets to table centerpieces, let us enhance the
ambiance of your event with what is local and what is fresh. Flying in tulips from
the Netherlands isnt only unnecessary, but it defeats the purpose of having a
wedding at Rancho Margot.
ALWAYS INCLUSIVE
Once guests arrive, they dont have to worry about anything except what time
they wish to wake up! With meals, yoga, hiking and more always included, we are
the ideal setup for a destination wedding. You wont have to worry about making
sure your guests are occupied while you prepare for the big event!

It is not necessary to visit or
reside in Costa Rica for any
period of time before getting
married. The documents
brought by you do not need to

you do not need to bring the
original copies.

last name in your Country of
Residence if you wish to do so
when your marriage certificate
is sent to your Country.

Ed & Renee
Getting married at Rancho Margot for us was an obvious
choice. The stunning location, but also the vision of owner
Juan Sostheim and his family made it our ideal wedding
location. Our family and some friends flew in from the
Netherlands, where we are originally from, as well as Costa
Rica & Nicaragua.

We wanted to make optimal use of everything the Rancho had
to offer, so we used flowers from the gardens for decoration
and the kitchen team did an excellent job in preparing all the
food. Throughout the event the atmosphere was very relaxed
and everybody was doing their utmost to provide a great time.
The Rancho crew danced with us late on our wedding day and
for all of us thought it an unforgettable experience.

Thank You
