ADVENTUROUS RACE
Its a team sport. It includes mountain climbing, biking, boating, and trail running. It has lots
of special mystery events- like climbing over a 5 meter wall, and carrying a team member for
3 kilometers. What is it?
The coolest sport Ive ever done, says 31 year old Bryan Martin. He recently finished the
Hawaii Adventure Race, with his team the Outsiders.
Although everyone on our team bikes and runs every day, it was a great challenge. His
team finished fifth out of more than two hundred teams in the race.
Adventure racing is a new sport that started a few years ago. In it teams of four people race
non- stop across long distances in difficult environments, 24 hours a day. There are mens
womens and mixed teams. Some adventure races are just one day, but others are much
longer.
In the Eco- challenge, one of the most famous races, teams must travel 500 km i9n ten days.
They travel by running, climbing ropes, kayaking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
Every year, the Eco-Challenge is held in a different country and environment, like the jungles
of Malaysia, the desert of Morocco, or the mountains of Canada.
Speed and stamina are very important for adventures races, but theres one more unusual
thing about the sport . To win the race, all team members must finish together. If one person
quits, the team is out of the race. You have to help each other, and you really learn to work
together. Says Bryan Martin. I enjoy that most of all.

My favorite sport was soccer when he was boy, I loved this sport, my friends and I
played all the weekends. When the football team of Alianza Lima played Copa
Libertadores, next we were going to look at the stadium.

I took part in the selection that acted for my high school since it was more popular
sport, not only for the number of fans that were looking, but also for the ones that
played it, In a party of stone slab come face to face two teams educated by 6 players
each one. During 2 times of 25 minutes each one, the one that more goals note down
won the game.

The World Cup was and it is the most important tournament and the organism in
charge of the organization of soccer is around the world the Fdration Internationale
of Football Association FIFA. I have formed a football team in my neighborhood, which
we had just won a championship distrital (Liga de Caete). If in the encounter of the
championship he had not had 8 players, they had not been able to participate and
winning. If we did not practice constantly, we were not arriving to her final and that
way to win.
