RELATED STUDIES AND LITERATURE


This chapter places the current study into the context of previous, related
research. The literature review provides a thematic narrative which guides the
formulation of the topic and suggests strategies for making operational the
independent and dependent variables considered in the study.

Crabs have one set of claws and four other pairs of legs. If a predator

The developing oocytes of the crab Cancer pagurus L. were studied with
the light and electron microscope. =rotein yolk formation was found to take place
in two different ways. Holk precursors of type ) accumulate within the cisternae
