A cam switch comprises a contact block body and an operating head.
Contact block body can either be mounted :
- from the front using a single 22 mm hole fixing or 4 hole fixing via the legend plate,
- from the rear onto a backplate or DIN mounting rail.
The body comprises stacked contact blocks (2 contacts per block).
- maximum number of contacts = 20
- maximum number of angular switch positions = 12
- operator switching positions = 30 - 45 - 60 - 90, either stay put or spring return
- screw terminal connections (2 x 2.8 x 0.8 mm push on connectors are available).
Operating heads. Wide range available to suit various application needs and aesthetics of control panel
layout. Suitable for both single 22 mm hole fixing and 4 hole fixing.
Standard handle, long handle, padlockable, stepping and key operated versions are available. Single hole
fixing has as standard IP 65 protection ; rubber seal option available to increase the degree of protection
to IP 65 when using 4 hole fixing.
