Current Roles & Responsibilities
Presently Development Manager in NXP Semiconductors, the renamed entity of erstwhile
Philips Semiconductors, is reporting to the Vice President of the group.

Represent the group in the global organization forums for tracking operations, financials,
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and global team strategies.

Member of NXP Leadership Team working on strategic decisions of Bangalore organization.

The responsibility is to manage more than 20 hardware engineering resources and projects
for one of the business unit’s ASIC products executed in Bangalore Design centre.
The role includes
• Manage the resource pipeline for the team, sharing design center updates with the
global team managers and reviewing organizational strategies with the Management
Team.
• Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related
projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives.
• Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at
multiple levels, including those external to the organization.
• Define and initiate projects, and assign Project Managers to manage cost, schedule,
and performance of component projects, while working to ensure the ultimate
success and acceptance of the program.
• Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives,
and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward
the business result or strategic intent.
• Coach, mentor and lead personnel within a technical team environment.
• Present periodic Dashboard reports on the current program, future opportunities and
customer (internal) issues.

Achivements in current position


• Build a team, over the last three years, from a small team of 8 engineers, mostly
working on resource augmentation mode at remote sites to a team of more than 20
engineers, making Bangalore as the default site of implementation for the biggest
business group of the company (Digital TV of Home business unit)
• Delivered 4 complex SoCs in the last three years, all of which, were ‘Top 10’ products
of the company, drawing full attention and visibility of the top management of the
company
• The success of previous ‘First Time Right’ silicons delivered by the group gave the
confidence to the company to assign the first ever 45nm SoC in the Digital TV
domain to this group, which was successfully completed.
