STEP 7.
Fit Latch to latch post as per latch
instructions using 5mm stainless
tek screws provided with quikwire
latch apaptor kit.
Fit Striker into latch & mark
top of striker on gate frame
STEP 8.
Fit QuikWire striker adaptor to gate aligning
top of adaptor with striker mark. Mark 3 holes
with felt pen & drill with 4mm steppeo drill
suitable for stainless steel. Drill and fit striker
adaptor to gate with 5mm tek screws provided.

STEP 1.
Fit supplied hinges to gate with
self tapping screws provided.
STEP 4.
Drill marked holes with a 5mm stepped drill
suitable for stainless steel and secure hinges
with stainless steel self tapping screws provided
STEP 2.
Ensure gap between gate frame and latch post is a minimum of 19mm
and a maximum of 30mm. The gate can be rotated to hinge from the left or
right side.
Pack the underside of the bottom rail so the top rail of the gate is in line
with the top of the panel rails.
NOTE: DRILL AT LOW SPEED
STEP 3.
Centre the gate in line with the middle of
the hinge post. Fit the hinge leaf ensuring
the hinge fits neatly to the post and mark
the holes. Repeat for the bottom hinge.

STEP 1.
Mark timber railings at maximum
for 80mm spacings (even out to suit
opening) and drill holes 35mm deep
STEP 4.
Spread top and bottom rails enough
to install compression posts over
compression post locating bolts
STEP 6.
Tension each of the quikwire spokes commencing with the 2 adjacent
spokes either side of the compression posts with 2 x 8mm open end
spanners. Check each of the spokes for tension and adjust if necessary.
Spokes should be tensioned firmly.

Fit quikwire spokes to remaining
timber inserts ensuring a minimum
of 2mm gap between nipple and rail

Screw timber inserts into predrilled
holes. Use an 8mm allen key or
Equiviliant driver bit in battery
powered driver drill
Drill 9.5mm holes @ 35mm deep

Screw compression post locating
bolts into opposing timber inserts.

Set your fence perimeter using a chalk line
to mark the line which your fence will follow.
This will be the centre line your fence
Space your posts out at 1292mm centres.
Make sure every post is centre to the chalk
line you have marked previously.
STEP 1
STEP 3
Mark the position of the holes in the top
shrouds ensuring the panel is in line with the
middle of the post and the shroud fits neatly
against the post.
STEP 7
Spread posts and fit top rail of QuikWire
panel into shrouds. Ensure panel is in line
with post and drill 4mm hole through predrilled
shroud.
NOTE: Do not fasten top rail with a 4mm
rivet until the completion of step 10
STEP 9
Find the highest ground point of your area.
This is where your minimum height of
1200mm must be taken from.
Position the assembled QuikWire panel
between the posts and support the bottom
rail rail of the panel so the top is in line with
the marks on the post.
STEP 2
Fix your post using specified fittings. Ensure
that the post is level in both directions and
there is no movement in the footings of the
post. Remember to place the base cover
plate before installing the QuikWire panel.

STEP 6
Drill marked holes with a 5mm stepped drill
suitable for stainless steel and secure top
shrouds with stainless steel self tapping
screws provided.
STEP 8
Slide bottom shrouds into position and mark
holes. Swing lower part of QuikWire panel
outwards to allow access to drill marked
holes. Reposition panel and shrouds and fix
shrouds with stainless steel self tapping
screws provided.
STEP 10
STEP 5
Use a string line or laser level to mark the
posts. The line represents the top edge of the
QuikWire panel.
NOTE: Ensure line is minimum of 1200mm
above ground level and a maximum of
1270mm above ground level.
NOTE: DRILL AT LOW SPEED
STEP 1.
Screw compression post locating bolts into tapped holes as shown.
(3rd, 9th and 15th holes)
STEP 2.
Fit first compression post over locating bolt and loosely install
adjacent QuikWire spoke
STEP 3.
Fit remaining compression posts and loosely fit adjacent QuikWire
spokes at opposite end of panel.
STEP 5.
Using two 8mm open ended spanners apply tension to the QuikWire
spokes commencing with the spokes either side of the compression posts.
The QuikWire spoke should be tensioned firmly after completion. Check
each spoke for tension and adjust if necessary. Your panel is now ready
to install between your posts.
STEP 4.
Install remaining QuikWire spokes. NOTE: Install all the lower rail
nipples as detailed prior to installing the upper rail nipples
