Qualifications:-
Design specifications to be Skyline standard.
The site works can be carried out with continuous access and during normal working hours.
The production area is clear from obstructions to allow use of mobile access platforms as required for overhead works, etc.
Room heaters can be suspended from existing steelwork using drop-rods.
Mains power supplies to chillers and panel by others (We can include once source location is advised).
Well water flow is constant and available at all times heating is required.
Skyline standard conditions of sale to apply.
Payment terms to 30 days from date of invoice. Milestone payments to be mutually agreed prior to commencement of works.
Payback Analysis:-
Based upon an estimated annual heating load of 2000 MW.hrs. (Assumes heat recovery from Air Compressor Air Blast Cooler can be utilised).
Annual electricity consumption for 1 no. heat pump = 250 MW.hrs. (28.25 Tonnes CO2)
Annual gas equivalent cost for heating @ £0.02/kW.hr cost = £40,000 p.a. (106 Tonnes CO2)
Annual electricity cost for heating @ £0.05/kW.hr cost = £12,500 p.a.
Net running cost saving per annum for heating = £27,500 p.a (68.75%), (77.8 Tonnes CO2).
Capital cost for equivalent gas-fired LPHW heating system would be in the order of £160,000.
Additional capital cost for heat-pump system with Air Compressor Heat Recovery is say £35,000.
Simple payback for heat pump system over gas-fired system would be £35,000/£27,500 = 15 MONTHS.
Further - Consider beneficial cooling effect on well water (Carbonation line chilling load reduction/benefit) this would apply as follows:-
‘Free-cooling’ effect on well water would amount to 750 MW.hrs.
Carbonation line is 10% of total flow rate, therefore take 75 MW.hrs.
Chiller running cost for provision of this cooling to carbonation line would be approx £1,250 p.a.
Therefore this would offset the total running cost of the heat pump giving an annual energy saving of £28,750 p.a.
Simple payback time for heat pump system over gas-fired system would then be £35,000/£28,750 = 14.6 MONTHS.
