Who causes Romeo and Juliet to death?
In my essay I will focus on who can blame for Romeo and Juliets
death responsibility.At the ending of Romeo and Juliet,the prince said,some
shall be pardoned,and some punished;It means Some characters should
be punished because they caused Romeo and Juliet to death.There are lot
of characters that caused them to death but not all of them should be
punished.There are two characters I think they should be punished,which
are Tybalt and Nurse.Both of them are dynamic charcaters.
Tybalt is the character that can blame for Romeo and Juliets death
because he started all the things.First,he sent Romeo a sword challenge
letter but now its a deathmatch.He wants to fight with Romeo because
Romeo is a Montague.Romeo went to Capulets party at the night,and
Tybalt saw him,he was about to draw his sword to kill Romeo.But
Mr.Capulet stopped him,told Tybalt to leave him alone.But he didnt,he sent
him a letter.Romeo said he loves Tybalt because he is Juliets cousin,but
Tybalt still wants to fight,then Mercutio came,then there was a quarrel
between Tybalt and Mercutio,then Tybalt killed Mercutio.In the book,Tybalt
said Draw your sword!The quote supports Tybalt really hates Romeo,wants
to kill him.
The second character to blame is Nurse.At the beginning of the story,she
strongly agree Romeo and Juliet love each other.Since Romeo got
bannished,Juliets parents said Juliet will marry Paris on Friday.Juliet needs
nurse to help her escape the wedding,she got married already but Nurse
said: Romeo is bannished;and all the world to nothing that he dares neer
come back to challenge you;Or if he do,it needs must be bystealth.I think it
best you married with the county.The quote supports Nurse wants Juliet to
marry County Paris because Romeo got bannished,he will never come
back.When Nurse said these words,Juliet got sad she thinks Nurse is not
helping her.Made her to find Friar to get help.
Friar,I think he shouldnt get the punishment because he was trying to
help Romeo and Juliet,he gave Juliet the sleeping potion,he sent Romeo
the letter told him come back,it wasnt his fault that they died.He shouldnt
get punished.
The characters that caused Romeo and Juliet to death is Tybalt and
Nurse.Tybalt started the fight,so he caused Romeo to kill him,got
banished.Nurse she should to help Juliet,but she didnt.Caused Juliet to
find Friar to get the sleeping potion,after she drinks the sleeping potion she
will fall asleep,but when she is asleep,she looks like she is dead but shes
not,shes still alive.If Nurse helped Juliet,Tybalt didnt kill Mercutio,doesnt
hate Romeo,then all these things wont happen.They should get punished.
