INTERNSHIP/ SEMESTER-8 PROJECT

Organization: Physical Research Laboratory (A unit of Department of Space,


Government of India), Navrangpura, Ahmedabad.

Project: Technology solutions and Development of coincidence detection circuit for


entangled photons. The project is currently used by “Quantum optics – Quantum
Information” group for its research activities.
 The project report would be reviewed by a committee of expert scientists. If
approved, it would be send, with PRL emblem, across more than 100 research
organizations across India including IISc, IITs, DRDO, ISRO, IPR, etc.

ACADEMIC PROJECT

Temperature Sensor Interfacing and Signal Conditioning:-

Duration : 5th Semester


Processor Used : AT89C51

The main aim of a minor project in a group of four students was to understand the real
world application of the micro-controller interfacing with the sensor.

Non-recursive Filter Design

Duration : 6th Semester


Software : MATLAB

The main aim of the end semester individual project was to implement DSP concepts
for designing non-recursive filter to remove noise from a given signal.

Cell-phone Operated Land Rover

Duration : 7th Semester


Processor Used : AT89C52

The main aim of a minor project in a group of five students was to have robust control
with zero interfaces for robot control using available telecommunication facilities.
