DAY 1 (2nd December)

CCNA Module # 1(Networking for Home and small Business)
• Introduction of Computer, operating systems
• Introduction of Networking. OSI Model, TCP/IP Model , Ip addresses
• Cabling, Ethernet LAN, collision domain & broadcast domain
• Exploring the concept of Wireless LAN
• How to setup a network, DHCP, Basic command and Configuration.
• Introduction of Packet Tracer

DAY 2 (3rd December)

CCNA Module # 2 (Working at small to medium size Network or ISP)
• Evolution of the Internet and Its Uses
• Implementing Ip address scheme , CIDR , VLSM
• Cisco Router Introduction, Router hardware , requirements
• Cisco router IOS , Router startup, basic commands
 • Routing protocol , static routing protocol , dynamic routing protocol , Interior
gateway & exterior gateway routing protocol
• ISP Services, ISP security
• Layer 3 filtering ,Access control List , types of Access Control List
• Commands and configuration of Access Control List
• Private and Public IP’s
• NAT, NAT Types.

DAY 3 (7th December)

CCNA Module # 3 (Introducing Routing and Switching in the Enterprise)
• Routing and switching needs, Cisco Three Layer Hierarchical model
• Dynamic routing protocols, Routing Loops, prevention methods of routing loops
including ( route poison , spit horizon, hold time and maximum hop count)

DAY 4 (8th December)

• Link State routing protocols, and Hybrid Protocols
• Configuration and verifications. of Link state routing protocols and Hybrid
routing protocols and Distance vector routing protocols.

DAY 5 (9th December)

• Cisco Switches , Layer 2 security
• Virtual Local Area Network, Trunking, VTP
• Layer 2 redundancy, Spanning tree protocol
CCNA Module # 4 (Designing and Supporting Computer Networks)
• WAN basic setup, point to point protocol , High level Data link Protocol

DAY 6 (10th December)

• Frame Relay
• Frame Relay, topologies, Point to point and point to multipoint network
• IP version 6, addressing and routing

DAY 7 (11th December)

• Common problems in VLAN’S (including VTP domain name , trunking , native
vlans etc )
• Troubleshooting in routing networks
• Issues in Spanning tree protocol (including convergence time , port fast etc)

DAY 8 (12th December)

• Commands and Configuration to overcome layer 1,2 ,3 problems
• Cisco SDM
• Cisco Discovery Protocol, TFTP, Router / switch password recovery.
