All of our tools are built in house and thoroughly tested and calibrated to
ensure the highest quality pressure data available. Each Downhole Gauge
set comes complete with a communication interface, battery set, bull nose
and pressure recorders all housed inside a protective case.
BUILT IN FAIL SAFE MODE
Reliability should be a major factor when selecting a downhole gauge. All
downhole gauges are prone to failure and a major contributor to these
failures is the crystal oscillator used to keep time and record data to
memory. If this component fails, data sampling ceases and the remainder
of the test is lost. AKS has incorporated a secondary crystal into the
circuitry that automatically starts and will continue to record data should
the primary crystal fail. This improves reliability of the downhole gauge,
insuring more successful tests.

PRESSURE TRIGGER:
A major shortcoming of typical
downhole gauges is that they
require partial disassembly in the
eld to be programmed prior to
the test. This can pose a problem
in dirty or harsh environments. If
the operator is inexperienced or
has computer problems, further
delays or even failures can occur,
costing you time and money. The
built in pressure trigger gives you
the option of pre-programming
the downhole gauge in your ofce
or shop and sending it out
completely assembled and ready
to run in the well. As soon as the
lubricator is pressured up the
downhole gauge sees that initial
pressure and begins the program
cycle that you have selected.
