E1.0 6.6 KV SWITCHGEAR:
E 1.1 Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and

commissioning of 6.6 KV, 350 MVA, single panel, indoor,
sheet steel, floor mounted, dust, damp and vermin proof
horizontal draw out, vertical isolation, extendable on either
side fully interlocked, complete with motorized spring
closing mechanism vacuum circuit breaker panel. The
panel shall be fabricated out of 14 gauge CRCA sheet.
Sheet steel components shall be chemically pretreated by
7 tank process and powder coated with minimum coat
thickness of 60 microns. The bus bar shall be of
rectangular cross section Electrolytic copper with heat
shrinkable coloured PVC sleeve. Incoming and outgoing
feeders shall have provision for termination of 6.6 KV,
XLPE cables. The panel shall be supplied complete with
machined base frame and foundation bolts, hand closing
mechanism conforming to latest Indian standard
specification and as per single line diagram enclosed
/specified here under.

E 6.1 Design, manufacture, assembly, testing at works, supply,

erection & testing at site as per specifications complete in
all respect of DG Sets of KVA rating as specified below :

415 Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM AC alternator
coupled with radiator cooled, Diesel Engine complete with
all accessories, like self starting device, fly wheel coupling
with guard V belts, cooling system, instrument/ control

system, (including battery charger panel for charging
batteries when DG set is in idle condition) safety control for
lub oil pressure and high cooling water temperature with
alarm and tripping etc. The alternator insulation shall be
class 'H' with temperature rise limited to class 'F' value
suitable to with stand tropical conditions and shall generally
comply with BS 5000 and IS 4722. The over load capacity
shall not be less than 110% of rated capacity for 1 hour in
every 12 hours (test certificate for the same shall be
submitted before dispatch). 24 volt chargeable lead acid
battery to be tubular type, maintenance free and fully

& Class PS accuracy for alternator protection for all three
sets etc. as required, suitable REF terminal box for
terminating neutral cable with REF CT's as required to be
provided. DG Set shall be enclosed in an acoustic
enclosure. The enclosure shall have provision of space
required for inspection and minor maintenance.
The DG set shall be mounted on a fabricated rigid common

base frame with GERB/Dunlop make ant vibration
mounting to provide not less than 99% vibration isolation.
First filling of lube oil & HSD shall be included in the DG set
cost. The DG Set shall include all standard accessories
fittings and instruments manuals etc. complete as per
specifications. The design of DG Set shall confirm to the
requirement of CPCB for flue gas emission and noise level.

LOAD TESTING OF DG SETS :
The DG Sets shall be subjected to load test either at

factory or at site after installation. The rates quoted shall
include arrangement of electrical/water load required for
testing and all consumables required during trial run of DG
Sets on full load for 12 hours followed by 10% overload for
one hour as per specification and drawings.
Notes :
XLPE copper Cable termination is envisaged for

connecting DG Supply to the Main MV Switchgears.
Required terminals for AMF operation, CTs as specified are
required to be provided in the adaptor box of DG Set.
Rates shall include all these accessories.
DG Set supplier shall provide microprocessor based DG

Local Control panel mounted on the engine having, all
electrical parameters, and fault indication with provision for
its remote control.

DG Supplier should provide arrangement for remote

start/stop and DG fault (LLOP, HWT over speed) etc along
with remote adjustment of voltage & speed of the engine
(Motorized/ solid state pot. may be required) & shall be
included in the quoted rates.
The neutral CTs as per specification shall be provided on

the neutral side of winding and connection brought out to a
neutral CT box to be mounted on the alternators (All the six
terminals are to be brought out and then shorted).
DG supplier / Vendor shall do necessary co-ordination with

MV SWGR panel manufacturer / vendor, required for Auto
and Manual operations / Synchronization as per the
specifications and requirement.
The Client / Consultant reserves the right for load testing

on any / all DG sets.

Residential Type Silencer:

M.S. Structural Support
Self supporting structure suitable for 30 meter exhaust pipe

above the ground level. This self supporting structure shall
be complete with Aviation light with battery & battery
charger and earthing for lightning arrestor, including Guy
wire supports. This structure shall be designed for a wind
velocity prevailing at site. Including welding, cutting, 2
layers of anti-coating primer with 2 layers of silver paint etc.
complete as required. The item given indicative and
minimum to be provided. The bidder shall workout & furnish

E 6.2 FUEL DAY OIL TANK :
E 6.2.1 Supply, fabrication, installation, testing & commissioning of
M.S. day oil tank of 990 litres capacity fabricated out of
min. 5mm thick M.S. sheet installed on steel frame or
masonry pedestal with all associated accessories, filters,
valves & fittings including level indicator complete as
required, float switch should be provided. The tank shall be
suitably treated with anticorrosive treatment on inside &
outside surface.

E 6.2.2 Fuel Oil Piping :
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of medium
class MS piping conforming to IS-1239 for fuel piping
complete with all necessary fittings and valves between
day oil storage tanks and DG sets/priming motor including

coats of enamel paint.

E 7.0 M.V. SWITCH GEARS & DISTRIBUTION BOARDS:
Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and

commissioning of following MV switchgear panels suitable
for 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz power distribution
system. The panel shall be Indoor, free standing, floor
mounting, sheet metal clad, cubicle, dead front, dust and
vermin proof type compartmentalized design fabricated out
of 14 SWG sheet steel, complete with Copper bus bars,
separate earth bus bar to be provided through out the
length of the panel. The incoming and outgoing feeders
shall be accommodated in a modular multitier arrangement,
adequate size cable alley, painting, earthing, numbering,
danger plate etc as required as per specifications and
drawings shall be provided. The panel shall withstand a
fault level of as indicated on Single Line Diagram.

All MCCBs shall be provided with magnetic & adjustable
thermal releases for short circuit & overload protection with
front drive kit (rotary operating handle).
NOTES :
1 The BOQ shall be read inconjunction with general notes,
specification and Single Line Diagram (attached for Ref.).
Incase of any discrepancy between specification, BOQ and
SLD, the same shall be brought to the notice of
Client/Consultant before quoting the rates, otherwise
stringent condition shall be deemed to have been
considered.

3 All MCCB shall be provided with door interlocked rotary
handle with ON/TRIP/OFF position indicator, continious
variable thermal magnetic O/C and S/C releases. The
MCCB above 250A rating shall be provided with
microprocessor based releases (settable at site). I/C MCCB
shall be provided with E/F release also.
4 All feeder doors shall have pad locking arrangement.
5 All TP feeders shall have solid isolable neutral link.

6 All MCCB used in starter feeder shall be suitable for motor

7 All ACB's shall be with micro processor based O/C and S/C
releases and Breaker Control Switch (BCS) having lost

10 Capacitor shall be heavy duty type (MPP technology).
11 All outgoing terminals (power and control) shall be brought

upto cable alley. 10% extra terminals shall be provided.
12 10% extra indicating lamp in loose shall be supplied along

with panel.
13 Removable lifting hook shall be provided in all
transportation section.
14 All CT, PT shall be cast resin.
15 All meters are digital type.

22 All Lift Panels transport section should not be more then

23 In soft starter Vender should supply power contactor with
aux. Contactor & All necessary accessories required etc .
