THE %A&INI NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL. CON(ERTING IT INTO AN IN)EPEN)ENT NATIONAL
HIGH SCHOOL TO &E -NO/N AS GO(ERNOR (ICENTE )*TERTE NATIONAL HIGH
SCHOOL AN) APPROPRIATING F*N)S THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress
assembled:
Section $ Separation and Conversion into a National High School. - The Mabini National igh
!chool - "overnor #icente $uterte %nne& in Barangay Bang'al, Tala(o $istrict, )ity of $avao is
hereby separated fro( the Mabini National igh !chool and converted into an independent national
high school to be 'nown as Governor Vicente Duterte National High School.
Section 0 Transfer of ssets and !iabilities. - %ll personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the
Mabini National igh !chool - "overnor #icente $uterte %nne& are hereby transferred to and
absorbed by the "overnor #icente $uterte National igh !chool.
Section # ppropriations. - The !ecretary of *ducation shall i((ediately include in the
$epart(ent+s progra( the operationali,ation of the "overnor #icente $uterte National igh !chool,
the initial funding of which shall be charged against the current year+s appropriations of the Mabini
National igh !chool - "overnor #icente $uterte %nne&. Thereafter, the a(ount necessary for the
continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual "eneral %ppropriations %ct."avvphi "
Section 1 #mplementation. - The !ecretary of *ducation shall issue rules and regulations that (ay
be necessary to carry out the purpose of this %ct.
Section 2 $ffectivity. - This %ct shall ta'e effect fifteen -./0 days after its publication in the 1fficial
"a,ette.
